This location used to be educated on vehicles now I go to cherry road location to see Jose. Very well educated on vehicles very friendly and professional! Only person at the heckle road location that I’ve found to be educated at this location is Joe, he is very well educated on vehicles! The heckle store has become a store of non educated and unprofessional people. Sad I loved to go to that store! I called to get a price on parts and the young girl didn’t put me on hold just asked a guy what was O2 sensors and what was bank one and bank 2! She doesn’t need a job!

As always under staffed!! The two employees did a great job with the customer service but the management needs to provide more consist volumn of in store staff at all times. Example go to our local Auto Zone store or Pep Boys etc. That always have enough staff to provide excellent service not okay service like advance does. Thanks

The customer service at this location is remarkable. We needed a replacement bulb for a light and were promptly assisted by a team member that went above and beyond. I recently visited to get my car scanned because it was driving weird. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The associate at the front was unhelpful and seemed lazy. He handed me a dead car scanner and made an unprofessional comment to my boyfriend and me about not stealing it and to "just bring his shit back." This level of service is unacceptable, especially when dealing with car issues.

I came to get help to get windshield wipers on. I asked for help. They guy there had a bad attitude and asked why I didn't get it done at the store when I bought it. He took the old piece off the wiper, threw it, put the new one off and walked away. I asked do I owe you anything (I wanted to at least tip him) but he yelled no and stormed away. I don't expect to be treated like royalty, but I do give kindness and at least expect the same.

Jerry was AMAZING! He not only installed my new battery under warranty, but he was instrumental with me for 2 hours as I had to install a new alternator(twice) in the parking lot because my truck would not run. He played fire fighter as my first new alternator was defective and caught on fire, he was a second set of hands when I needed them, and he lent me the tools I needed from the store toolbox to get the job done. He was patient and kind through the whole process and a lifesaver as I am heading out of town in the AM for work. I can't say enough about the hero Jerry is and he did all of this while manning the store all by himself. This man deserves a writeup in the company newsletter and appreciated for his above and beyond evening.

I went to Advance auto Sunday night Steve helped me very knowledgeable about my vehicle gave me a lot of great information and took his time to assess my Car battery issue told me to come back Monday morning to get it installed. Monday came I met James who took his time went over my battery issue with me told me my options and installed my new battery he was awesome. Felt great to go somewhere where they didn’t feel the need to take advantage of a lady trying to get things done. Great job guys I will be back in the future.
