LADIES! If you no nothing about cars, car parts, car problems this Advanced Auto location is the place to go. I went to three other auto shops and they quoted me over $150 saying I needed this and that. Came here and Nathanial showed me exactly what I needed and even helped me out with what to do. I didn't feel screwed over or taken advantage of not once. I've been here for other things too and the customer service from all the guys here is top notch everytime. THANK YALL SO VERY MUCH! We visited this store earlier in our week to get our SUVs battery tested. We knew something was likely wrong but needed to just be sure. The young lady who did the test for us was very polite. She told me that it was likely NOT the battery but was the starter. They have the machine that can tests all three being the battery, alternator and starter. A new starter for our vehicle would have been over an $800 repair. Something told me to dig deeper into this and I’m glad I did. The issue WAS indeed my battery. We took it to an ASE Certified shop who diagnosed it and got us taken care of. The lesson learned here is that this is NOT certified techs doing these tests, and don’t tell a customer something that is the case if you are not sure. If I would have went by the story of our starter was the issue, I would have wasted ALOT of money.

On 3/31/25 I visited this store reference a vehicle issue not staying charged. Guy can out with hand held meter to test battery and said it was good. Still in the parking lot, try to start it up and it didn't. Girl came out with hand held meter in one hand and cellphone in the other. While the tester was going through she's texting on her phone. She looks at the meter and said it was the alternator. Then the guy came back out and said it was the starter. Just to let you know please take the time to give the accurate information and stay focused on your customer. It wasn't neither of the diagnosis you gave.

My car stopped on me, and I came in asking for help two African-American men refused to help me they were very nonchalant they couldn't care less. I also asked him. Did they had a battery charger portable battery charger that I could charge my car they say we don’t carry that when I tellAnd they talking about Black people need to come togetold you up with the two nastiest African-American men I ever met in my life they was they told me they don’t do no service on nobody cars, but two days later I pass by and I see they out there helping somebody put headlights in the car of course it was a different color And they talking about Black people need to come together

I stopped by here to grab a bottle of antifreeze. The manager who was a lady with dark hair, was very rude to me. I wanted to ask her where I could find coolant in the store. I started with “excuse me,” and without making eye contact with me, she just kept walking and said we’ll be right with you in a dismissive tone. There were two other people in the store. The employees were wonderful, especially the elderly guy that helped me at the register, but this store certainly is not managed by a friendly woman and customers do not seem to be their priority. My initial encounter with the staff at this location was good. The gentleman helped me with my purchase and was very helpful answering my questions. I was there to buy headlight bulbs as ironically, both had gone out at the same time. I went outside to install them myself. I had no issue with putting in the first bulb; however, the second one was giving me a hard time. I went back in to ask for help and to make sure I wasn’t doing anything wrong. The gentleman that helped me the first time was now busy helping someone else. I noticed a female employee sitting behind the counter looking at her nails. When I asked her to come outside to help me, she looked out the window annoyed (never making eye contact with me) and said “I can tell you the first thing you’re doing wrong is trying to replace a bulb in this kind of weather.”. It was raining outside. I told her that all I needed her to do was LOOK and make sure I wasn’t doing anything wrong and that I would actually replace the bulb myself. I could see that she was irritated by having to come outside and help me so I just told her that I would take care of it myself at which point she told me that I “could come back when the weather was nicer” to fix my headlight. Obviously I need my headlights to SEE and unfortunately things happen even when the weather is bad. Needless to say I won’t be asking this person for anything if I decide to visit this location again.
