I took my car in to get the fuel injectors replaced and they told me it was the thermostat. 2 weeks later it was ready to be picked up. The same day I picked it up it stalled and wouldn't even hold an idol. I took it back and then it took them over 5 weeks to replace the fuel injectors that they had insisted didn't need replaced the first time!!! I had to call them to even know it was ready. He didn't even give me the courtesy of calling me when it was done.

It took four weeks to diagnose my car, and another 3 weeks to fix my car and it was only a transmission swap. I was the only one staying in communication with the shop, they never called me to try and get my car fixed, horrible customer service and they charged me more than other shops had quoted me. I was also advised to oil my brakes because they squeak.

I stopped of the other day. I had been referred by a friend. Unfortunately they couldn't help me with my problems. Ok Manger could have helped, but he was honest in telling me it would get super expensive and might not be worth it. The counter lady was super friendly and nice. Great people

I just moved here and i ran into some car troubles. This shop was close to where my car went down so i contacted them and had them check it out. I thought the issue was one thing, it turns out i was partially right. It turned out to be an electrical connectivity issue that was only discovered because the tech and the owner of this shop went the extra mile and checked every possible thing that could have caused the issue. I am extremely satisfied with their work, the customer service and the shop in general. If i ever have another issue with a vehicle i will be bringing it here. I highly recommend this place for any and every car problem you may encounter. Plus when other shops in the area cant get a car fixed they send it here to get repaired. When other shops count on this shop for complex repairs this is the place to go first.

These guys are pro's and they go the extra mile to make their customers happy. I had their professional fuel injection cleaning service done on BOTH my Tacoma and my Camry. My Camry got 550 miles on the first tank of gas after the service! Need I say more?

I went to AER a long time ago when they were behind Costco and had the best experience with them, they WERE super friendly and honest. I haven’t needed car repairs in years but always recommended them to everyone of my family and friends for years. My husband recently needed his truck fixed and we took it there, they fixed it but the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. We dropped it off and don’t hear back for days I finally called and no one answered I left 3 voicemails over the course of 4 hours while they were open and finally got a call back immediately after I said I was going to stop by and check on the truck..this went on again when we tried finding out when we can pick up the truck. Then they told us they would order a key fab for us and give us a call when it came in. I waited a MONTH. Tried calling and same thing, no one answers, no one calls back, I left voicemails. Finally the lady called back told me she would check on it and call me again...surprise she didn’t. I called the next day and left a voicemail in the morning..they are closed now and not surprisingly I received no call back. Horrible way to run a business apparently they don’t need anymore because I will never recommend this place to anyone again.

I have been going to AER for awhile now, but lately the techs are more worried about pushing the vehicles out whether your vehicle is fixed or not. I have had my truck in there 2 times for the same problem. Both times they said it was a sensor. I changed the sensor with a ford part and still not right. When I talked to the tech he admitted that he could have trouble shot further but the time it would take to do it he could habe fixed another vehicle and paid more. I will not go back there again.

We ran into brake problems while traveling to the Grand Canyon in our Sprinter Chassis RV. They squeezed us in late Friday afternoon; and the poor mechanic had to work outside (size of RV) in triple digit temperatures. They are unnecessarily kind. Incredible experience.

I would like to provide an update on a previous 1 star rating. It come to light that a previous employer of there's was doing half ass work behind Rob and Denise's back making there company look bad. Rob reached out to me recently and explained the situation and informed me that the tech was no longer working for them and asked if he could make things right. I decided to take my truck back and give them another chance to help me out. I am very please to say they went above and beyond to help me out just like they have done in the past. The dealerships are bringing cars there now. Enough said. You are getting better quality repair service than many dealerships for WAY less money. The only problem with that is the wait is longer these days. Simply put, I feel they really GOOD, honest people who will not "throw parts" at your vehicle till the problem is solved like many places I've been to in the past. I won't go anywhere else. They have solved extremely challenging electrical problems for me, but can do anything mechanical.

Mike and Denise are great. I wanted to upgrade my Jeep Grand Cherokee's brakes from the old Teves style to the new Akebono style. There was a delay in having my Jeep done on the same day, so Mike was very communicative and gave me some options for getting it done the next day. The quality of the workmanship was very good.

Excellent customer service! Quickly diagnosed my overheating 4Runner on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment. Replaced my head gaskets within about a week and backed their work with a 12 months or 12000 mile warranty. Actual cost was the same as the estimate. I would highly recommend this shop to any of my family and friends. If you look around, I'm sure you will find a shop to do work for less, but in my opinion, "cheaper" shops probably won't have the same diagnostic abilities and may not use manufacturer/dealer grade parts. Shops that misdiagnose or use cheap parts can easily cost more in the long run. Thank you for the professional service!

I left the car to swap fluid on my Saab AWD system. They had my car for 8 weeks! I chose them as I was told they work on Saab. I ignored the negative reviews. Unfortunately they were all true. I had to call them múltiple times a week for updates as they never called me back. It was a simple oil change on differential. They didnt change the filter which is key and dif needs to be cleaned out. On top of that my car was crashed into as they park vehicles on the street. They didn't even fix it and I paid close to what I had to pay for someone else who fixed it properly. Very bad experience. I dont reccomend using them and would avoid at all costs.

Can't say enough about AER, on a Saturday no less, had my car in and out in 5 hours. Drove from McCall to Boise when I realized i had a problem. They were the only shop I could find open and were able to get my car in, needed a water pump! My experience was one I need share...these people are gr8, price very reasonable. I was many miles from home (NJ) when I noticed that the front end of my 1976 Porsche 914 was a little squirrelly as I came into Boise on the interstate. Night was falling and I knew I'd have to find a hotel, stat, and then look for a local mechanic in the morning. I pulled into a hotel parking and checked the wheels to find too much play and figured my wheel bearings were shot. I pulled into AER the next morning and Denise could not have been more helpful. She was able to squeeze me in that day and arrange for Kip to inspect the bearings. I was relieved to find that Kip said they only needed to be re-packed... The bearings were fine though he'd have to try and locate new seals since the original ones were a little suspect. Denise then drove over to the parts supplier herself to pick up the seals so that kip could finish up the work and get me back on the road that day...I was out of there that same afternoon and on the road home. Great job, professional service, fair price and helpful advice... What more could you ask for when you're 2500 miles from home!

The people I dealt with were very friendly. My car was fixed in the time frame I needed it (and not everybody around wants to work on my make & model of car, so I was glad to find them). The owner seems to take pride in his work, and explained the details of what he did. The only reason I left a star off is because of communication; I had to call back a couple of times when I had been told they'd call to give me updates, and didn't. Otherwise, no complaints!

These guys are great. Very friendly people. They were able to fix my Jeep Cherokee Steering Column for 200.00 while others had quoted me 700.00 and wanted to replace the whole column. They obviously knew what they were doing, and I don't think they even charged me for as much labor as actually went into it. Hard to find service like that anymore. Thank you AER.

These guys are the best. They are the only mechanic I have ever had to take my car to ever in my life. They were strait forward on the prices and explaining the issues. I am mechanically savvy so to say I needed to go to a mechanic is an issue I couldn't fix. The only reason they were not able to fix the car is because of the repair costing exceeding the worth of the vehicle. As long as they are in business I will be doing business with them. The staff is amazing and helpful and they don't sugar coat things. Thank you guys for the great work.

AER was the best experience I’ve had with a mechanic! They took their time to THROUGHLY look through my car and I really appreciate the extra work they did on it. They fixed a couple of things in the interior, and even filled up my gas! These were done with no extra charge which is much appreciated. I also had a great client experience with the employees!
