Well it was very rough at first but they do a great job at communicating and letting you know the real problem of your vehicle! Their mechanic Tanner is possibly the best mechanic in the Wichita area! Also their prices are reasonable!

I can't praise this shop enough! The entire staff.....Tanner the mechanic top notch and front desk is more than helpful. I've had a couple of issues with my VW Golf GTI that have been going on over a year. I had taken my car to 3 separate shops in Wichita and each one failed to fix the problems. I was so upset with all of them. I'm a female who knows almost nothing about car issues. Alexander's has never once made me feel like my car issues were not important. They took the time to explain everything that needed to be done and put my worries at ease. They have my business for sure!

So what's up with you guys taking apart a engine not knowing how to put it back together or even simply how to prove to warranty that it is needing replaced under warranty after telling us that the engine would be replaced under warranty and then saying if you can't get it covered we are responsible for the entire bill to you guys when you've had the vehicle for months and now will not return any phone calls or pick up phone calls seems sketchy as hell and why would you take in a car that you don't know how to work on

My first experience here was fine. Had a radiator replaced. Pricing was fine. Friendly staff. My second visit last week, yikes. I went in fully expecting I'd need brake pads, rotors, and calipers. Also requested front alignment. The estimate I got was $2016 for the brakes, and $212 for the alignment. They also suggested another $4000+ in other repairs. Basically anything they could see at the front of the Jeep, they said needed replaced. Shocks, tie rods, ball joints, etc. I left and had another shop complete the brake work for $1000 and the alignment for less than $50. They had no other concerns. Some of the parts in Alexander's estimate were marked up 300-500%. Each item required "assorted shop fees", which totaled more than $600. Not a shop I trust.

This company is awful, they will tear your car apart and keep it for 3 months, send a letter telling you to stop calling. Then put the car back together unfixed. Because they can’t do the job.

I went in had my car looked at was told what was wrong with it made an appointment to have it fixed I went in they fixed it the last minute I did ask for an oil change and they smiled and said sure thing no gruff just all smiles and I appreciate that paid what I was told originally plus my oil change l can't thank them enough for helping me in a timely manor and the front girl Alyssa I wanna say her name is she is just sweet as sweet very VERY helpful and the hole process was very smooth thank you so much guys

Great communication with text and photos on progress. When I had questions the mechanic took the time to explain what was going on in way that I could understand since I don't have a lot of mechanical repair knowledge. Fixed my vehicle right by recommending what was best instead for it and not just what was cheapest. They still gave me the option to choose but the last place I took my vehicle to when with the cheaper option which is what caused the vehicle to needed to be fixed again. I really appreciated the time taken to explain why they had the recommendations they did for a long term fix vs doing what the past place I took it to did. Thank you for putting your customers as your priority instead of just trying to get me in and out as fast a possible!

truck would not start, starter and. battery not the issue. The ignition switch had a drastic voltage drop not allowing truck to start. 2 40 AMP fuses were replaced and the truck was running again. Appreciate Alexander's taking the truck on short notice and getting it up and running in a one day.

Went to Alexander Automotive since my car was making very strange noise and I was afraid of it breaking down. Talked to front desk Alyssa and she had a mechanic come right out and he fixed the issue very quickly and they didn't even charge me. Left feeling safe since car not making the noise and very thankful for the prompt and courteous service. Highly recommend!
