CAUTION!! Of course it’s a body shop on Avenue Q what do you expect? However I know a few shops on the street that although they are not the best they are nice, courteous and try their best to be professional within their limits. This is not the case for Allen’s Paint & Body. A customer of mine wrecked my vehicle and took it here to get it repaired without my knowledge. After talking to my customer she admitted she took the vehicle here, and told me she even made him aware it wasn’t her vehicle but she needed it done. While she is to blame so is he. This man didn’t ask any questions he was more worried about making a quick buck. He should have done his due diligence on making the customer sign an affidavit stating she was the vehicle owner and she gave him permission, like any other professional shop would. Unfortunately he did an absolute HACK JOB on my Lexus without my authorization to do repairs. When I went to his shop to talk to him about it he took no responsibility, yelled at my face, tried to get physical with me and then him and his whole family cursed me out and didn’t offer anything to make things right. He wouldn’t even try to cooperate with me and wouldn’t show me a receipt of all the work performed, just simply walked away after all said and done. Things surely could have gone different. If he was more attentive he would have seen the keys literally had our logo on them and that they said “loaner car” so of course I didn’t buy his story one bit. Aside from this fiasco he didn’t even do a proper repair, the guy has no business doing body work and he puts the industry to shame. He didn’t remove anything off the car even things that take 2 seconds for you to remove he left on, there’s over spray everywhere, pinholes, running clear, scratches on the body filler and he painted over the sensors. This is a shop that takes short cuts and doesn’t care about quality. If you care about your vehicle do not bring it here, save yourself the hassle & headache. You deserve better as a customer no matter how much you’re paying.
