Allen was very honest about the problems I was experiencing and possible solutions. In the end I didn’t end up getting the work done because it would have cost more than the vehicle was worth (old car in bad shape), so I ended up just paying for the $160 diagnostic fee. Overall a very good experience and I will definitely be returning for any future work I need done.

The new management has been very unfortunate to have. As a neighbor of these folks we were given 10% off services in the past. As of today, after th gaft they serviced my vehicle, I was informed that they will not offer that discount unless I get 'other work' done. The 'other work' was almost $3000, a quote they 'worked' on during my tire rotation and oil change. Avoid these guys and this place. There's another Auto repair shop right on the other side...try them!

On our way to Denver, windshield wipers wouldn’t water, horrible road conditions with the snow splashback, found this gem! We had our chihuahua and pug with us so I was worried they would not be too receptive. They squeezed us in, rodents chewed my water line. Amazing price for the amount of work they did. This place is excellent and has excellent service. I brought my land rover in due to a battery charging issue and they quickly checked any loose wiring or other issues for free. When they found that wasn't the issue they had me schedule for a full diagnostic and within the same day they found the issue and ordered the part. All in all, they fixed my car in a matter of a couple days and cleaned it for free. Allen, who is the owner was very friendly and gave thorough explanations of the problem. I would have to say this is probably the only mechanic I've been to who worked on my car quickly, and is actually trust worthy. I didnt get the impression they were making up problems just to over charge me. Which has happened at other car mechanics I've been to before. I for sure will continue to bring my car to this business and hope it stays open for as long as im alive. Great, friendly, knowledgeable and trust worthy car services are so hard to find.

These guys are great. I’ve gone to them for the last three months to stagger some work that needed to be done, and they’ve been very open and honest with what needed to be done, and when it needed to be done. The first visit I had with them, the total also ended up being a little less than what I was quoted, which was a very nice surprise. They took pictures of basically everything, and were happy to answer any dumb question I had for them, even if it was unrelated to work I needed done. Now that all the current work has been taken care of, hopefully I won’t need to go back any time sooner but this shop would the number 1 pick for me to get future work done at.

I am suspicious about all the five star reviews. I am updating my review because my experience with Broomfield Automotive, especially with Alan, became consistently disappointing despite his long talks about experience, community service, and honesty. On my first visit, Alan kept me at the counter for a very long time while he told me about his decades in the business and how much he cares about helping people. He presented himself as someone who is not money driven and who stands behind his work. Unfortunately, the actual work and the follow through did not match the presentation. After a rear brake job, one of the rotors developed a scratch the next day. When I called, I was told to drive the car for a few days instead of having the work inspected. When I brought it back, Alan looked bothered that I even mentioned it. He told me that the work had a limited warranty and that if I had trouble further down the line, then they would work on it. We ended up going to a different shop to get the issue resolved. Later, when my Volvo showed a clear Stop and Go System Battery message, Alan told me he did not know what the issue was and asked me to leave the car so they could look into it. Another shop diagnosed it immediately and replaced the correct auxiliary battery within an hour and a half for a clear pre priced amount of $179.95. This confirmed that the problem was simple and that Alan did not recognize something basic for my vehicle. Today I brought the car back again because the engine was revving on its own and the transmission had a whistle under load. Instead of offering a direct diagnostic plan, Alan told me the diagnosis would cost $160 per hour and could take hours or even days. This was surprising because the situation required a basic smoke test that any qualified shop can perform quickly. He also said he did not want to deal with the transmission because he never flushes transmissions. He suggested that the Volvo dealership may have caused the issue simply because they performed a standard fluid service. After leaving, I went to another shop that immediately added the correct transmission additive with no hesitation and no confusion. They completed the part of the job that Alan refused to handle. And regarding the revving, I am taking the car to the Volvo dealership for a proper (smoke test) which Alan could have done but chose not to. At this point the pattern is clear. There are long speeches about values, honesty, and experience, followed by vague diagnostics, inflated estimates, and refusal to address straightforward issues that any competent mechanic should be able to resolve. By the end it felt simple. If it was not a big ticket repair, it was not worth their time. Based on my experiences, I cannot recommend this shop. I am updating this review so others can make an informed decision.

I was looking to either add or replace a vehicle and was referred to Broomfield Automotive from a friend. I had no expectations since buying a car can be … a process. But I had a great experience there. Brent was patient, honest & very knowledgeable. He took the time to listen and help me figure out what the best solution would be versus just pushing a car on me and calling it a deal. He went above and beyond to find me what turned out to be my dream truck. And then made sure every part of it was inspected checked and checked again. The team is warm, friendly and trustworthy. There’s a lot to be said for a business that cares about more than just their bottom line. This is one of those places.

I have found my new shop! I had taken my car to another shop for a basic oil change and service - they told me that I urgently needed a repair that would cost $6,000.00 - and it didn't sit right with me, I wasn't experiencing any issues with my car consistent with what that other shop told me. My friend convinced me to go to Broomfield Automotive for a second opinion. I talked to Tracey at the front desk, and Jordan looked at and drove my car. They agreed that the original quote to fix my car was odd and they couldn't find any issues consistent with what I had been told either. They recommended a few additives to keep my engine/transmission running well. They took the time to explain why they thought this was the best course of action. Bottom line, they were friendly, helpful, and saved me $6,000.00 in un-needed repairs. They will continue to get my business!

Our family bought the most amazing used vehicle from broomfield automotive this past New Year’s Eve- (this Mama’s dream car- a beautiful dark grey limited edition Toyota Sienna with AWD…), and it was an awesome experience from beginning to end! As a busy mom of 3 boys who compete in snowboarding competitions, mountain bike, camp all summer and do all things mountain, we desperately needed to upgrade our minivan to an AWD with lots of room for gear and friends. Tracy, Brent and Mike were incredibly attentive and professional every step of the way- from finding the vehicle for us, getting it to Colorado from out of state and doing the most immaculate and thorough servicing to ensure that it was in mint condition and would be as safe as possible for our family’s many wild adventures. These guys are honest, kind, clear, patient, flexible and communicative. I loved knowing that they are family guys themselves- Brent’s young daughter hangs around the shop often with their dog and pet parrot and the spot just has a welcoming and warm atmosphere- my sons and their friends were happy hanging out in the comfortable lobby, watching tv and eating snacks- coffee for mama, too! I have felt so safe in the snow this season and secure on mountain roads for the first time ever! I know that these guys are my go-to guys for anything I’ll need in the future to maintain this vehicle. I’m so grateful for all their help, reliability, professionalism and trustworthiness.
