Took my Jeep there they replaced my gearbox tire rod, etc. They failed to perform a wheel alignment which cost me more money. My warranty was voided as well due to the poor work these guys performed. Not honest people I would not recommend this shop. All of my Jeep families who are in Bakersfield avoid this shop.……..

I was told to have my jeep worked on here by a couple of people. I'm glad I was told to have my jeep worked on here. They have gone above and beyond to get work done on my vehicle in a timely manner. Prices are some of the best I've seen in the business. It is rare to find a shop that will go through great lengths to get the job done when estimated. I will continue to have work done to my jeep here from now on. Good prices, great people. What more can you ask for?

We chose American Offroad to lift our 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon based on a recommendation I got while researching lift kits. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. Shay & Misty are the owners and this shop is a family business. Their customer service is top notch. Their quality of work is top notch. Their knowledge and experience is far greater than what I experienced at some of the other nationwide chain Offroad shops. It's obvious that they love what they do and off-roading is a lifestyle for them. They helped us transform our Jeep into exactly what we wanted and their pricing was very fair. Bring your Jeep or off road vehicle here and you won’t be disappointed by the service or communication from the owners. I have had them fit me into their schedule at last minute for mounting new tires on beadlocks, when they were already busy. They have installed new gears and kept me updated on the work. Just had a 3.5” Metalcloak game changer put on my Jeep JLUR, 2.5 ton steering, a pillar lights, knuckle lights and a truss welded on the front axle. Very happy with the work that was done. They did an excellent job on installing new gears in my jeep and when I went back down after the 500 mile break in . They got my jeep on the lift immediately inspected the new gears and changed the fluid and installed my new diff covers and I was on my way. I can not say thank you enough to Ethan, Shae, and Misty with American Offroad! They helped repair my 2017 Jeep Wrangler JKU after another local shop (Direct Off-road on Rosedale Hwy) installed my gears and suspension incorrectly. Shae, Misty and their son, Ethan were beyond helpful with walking me through the repair process and making me feel apart of their team, not treating me like just another customer. You can feel the pride and passion they and their family have in the Jeep community here locally. Their son Ethan is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time and effort on the repairs. After diagnosing the issues that I was having with Direct Off-road's installation, they made the needed repairs and literally walked me through why they recommend replacing and fixing certain parts, showing me how these important parts function on my Jeep. They were respectful of the other company's installation, but recognized there were issues and wanted to repair them so not only my Jeep worked correctly, but that I and my family were safe on the road. My 4.88 gears are so quiet now and the drive is so smooth!! Thank you American Offroad!!! You're my go-to going forward!
