WARNING DO NOT take your car here due to the mechanics negligence he installed several parts on my car that were not the correct parts (axel, struts control arm) and it caused extensive damages to my car and there are not willing to accept or take responsibility. Not a trustworthy shop!!

Point S Tire is horrible! I have been doing business with American tire for years. Once Point S took over on a corporate level it is garbage! I had my financing already set and they no longer use the same financing company. I tried opening a business account and I have 4 vehicles that need tire maintenance and replacements. In 2 weeks I've had 5 promises for a phone call back and not once have I received one call. I completed a credit app for our business and it's been going on 2 weeks and no results. I won't give my business to Point S ever again. Moving on to another reliable tire business that values my business!

People are nice and all, however i went in asking for my brakes to be checked. I know now after wasting $200+ here that my brake pads needed to be changed and BADLY. When i went in asking to fix my brakes (specifically mentioning squealing) he just changed the fluid... my car continued to get worse. Went to a buddy that actually fixed my brake pads that were almost touching the metal. Dont waste your money here

Sure, I technically got my $130 back for the so-called "alignment," but not before surrendering 2.5 hours of my life and my truck for an unauthorized joyride. It drove straight when I dropped it off—came back pulling harder right than a shopping cart with a broken wheel. The tech, clearly a graduate of the "Eyeball University of Tie Rod Engineering," decided the wheel looked about center and called it good. When I asked if they could put it back on the laser alignment machine, he said that’d take “another hour”—as if we hadn't already burned half a day. Took it to a real shop, where they kindly handed me a printout of just how badly mangled the alignment was. Point S? They wouldn't give me a printout—probably because it is hard to draw with Crayons. I might let them mount and balance a tire. Maybe. But if it's got threads and adjusts critical steering and suspension geometry, they need to keep their mitts off.

Staff is friendly, efficient, and communicative. Parts are spendy, but they all do if you don't do it yourself. Might not be the most cost effective in town, but it was close to my home. The reason I will be back is their thoroughness. I went in for an alignment and rotation; there are multiple finger/touch marks on various bushings, joints, etc that don't "need" to be inspected during the service (this is a good thing). Very glad to have found a shop that does exactly what they are serviced for while actually paying attention to the vehicle and what it needs overall, rather than prioritizing turnaround time.

I was early to picking my parents up from the airport, so I stopped in to see if they had availability for an oil change. Even though they were busy they shuffled some things around to get me in and out in 30min. They were really helpful in teaching me a few things about my vehicle as well, and price was very competitive. Didn’t try to upsell at all either which was refreshing.

They didn’t try to cross or pressure sell me a bunch of stuff I didn’t need but made sure to point out a couple leaks with pics to back it up that was awesome. I needed an oil change and new brakes on my 2017 Ford F350 so I could make a trip to Missouri. I stopped in to Gills to see if they could work my truck into their schedule on short notice, and they were happy to help. A great professional group of people, they even gave me ride about 5 mile back to my office while the truck was being worked on and came and picked me up when the truck was ready. I was very happy with the pricing and brought over another truck for an oil change and received the same treatment. I had somebody fix my radiator. They didn't secure it. I hit a bump and it put a hole through the condenser. I took it to point s gills in Boise they did outstanding. They had it down within a day and I called every place in Boise at least 20 places. They were the cheapest, the ferris price and the best work. Good job. I'll return for all my needs
