The guys who helped me were super friendly and helpful. I went in initially for an alignment but I also had a knocking noise every time I would go over a bump in the road, and they found the issue and fixed it right away. My car rides great!

They did a good job on my oil change. It was also comforting to have the customer sitting next to me speak highly of them. He has been doing business with them for 15 years.

Available same day, very helpful and honest guys. They provided a print out of the actual problem and the repair. Best part was the affordable price compared to other places I called.

Went in originally for left rear tire with a nail. But I trusted and I didn't check before leaving, till car owner told me I never replaced their left rear but right rear. Went back see if could fix flat told me no but I'll give you a price on a tire for front left one which is worse than the nail one. So I did and what happened after going over a bump? Yes pop!!!

These guys tried to charge me 60 dollars to look at a cracked reservoir tank. Which I pointed out . Then wanted me to wait 1.5 hrs to look at it … better places to conduct your Business. Barrack was rude didn’t seem interested in my business.

Edgar and John were amazing and helped me in a pinch. I got a flat tire on a Sunday close to closing time. My tires still had warranty but with Discount Tires which was closed. They were able to patch my tire to make sure I could get back home to PB safely. I really can’t thank them enough.

Coincidental story - Audi dealer quoted me almost $3,000 for an alternator and that it would be a 2 to 3 day job. While thinking it over, my Uber driver Filipe, said his brother Barac works at American Tire Depot and that I should give him a call. Barac was able to get the alternator for $600 less than what I would've gotten, got it the same day as the order, and the very next day was able to complete the job in less than 3 hours without charging me extra fees. The service was fast, efficient and cost me half of what the dealer wanted. Thanks Barac! And thanks to your brother Filipe who recommended us to you. We will definitely come back!

Lord have mercy. The guys are nice enough, got a good deal on 4 tires with install, until I had to fix two leaky valve stems myself. One of my lug nuts was cross threaded so bad, I had to use a breaker bar in an attempt to loosen it and I broke the stud instead. Thanks for the new tires!

By far the best experience I've ever had with a tire shop. They had to order my tire got me In earlier than expected. They were done in 30 minutes like the guy said. He was very professional and made me feel good about the service they were providing. And the best part was when all said and done the price the was given to me over the phone that was the exact price they charged me. So that means this place is honest and really takes care of their customers. I will never go anywhere else .

Great service today at American Tire Depot! I made an appointment the day before for oil change. As soon as I parked, I was greeted right away by the manager. He was friendly and explained to me what they’re going to do and how long it would take. I like how they do tire rotation, inspect brakes and inspect alignment for free. I haven’t gotten my car’s alignment in a long time. They gave me a great discount for the oil change and alignment. The entire process took an hour and a half. Super fast! I highly recommend them! Thank you for a great customer service!

These guys were on time efficient and walked me through the process. Don’t over charge me and got me in and out. I upgraded from stock 20’s to 22’s and had caliper covers added.

I’m writing this review to give a completely transparent account of my experience so other customers can make informed decisions. My wife originally had a small screw in her tire. We brought the vehicle to American Tire Depot on Broadway in Chula Vista because they offered to repair it. The tire was nearly new and only needed a simple repair. The shop performed the repair and sent us on our way. The very next day the TPMS light came back on and the tire was still losing air. After checking the tire myself with soapy water, I confirmed that air was still leaking from the same repair area. To be fair, I had the tire inspected by two completely independent tire shops that had no knowledge of the situation. Both shops told me the same thing: the tire had been excessively sanded during the repair and the structural integrity of the tire was compromised. They also explained that current industry standards require a plug-and-patch repair from inside the tire, while the repair performed here was only a patch. At that point I contacted corporate. The district manager stepped in and agreed that the tire should be replaced. I appreciated that part of the process. However, when I arrived at the Broadway location for the replacement, the experience became extremely uncomfortable. Despite the replacement already being approved and the tire already being sourced, the store manager repeatedly tried to convince me to keep the original tire and allow them to repair it again instead of installing the new tire. Another employee kept insisting that the other tire shops were “just trying to sell me a tire,” even though those shops had no knowledge of this situation and independently reached the same conclusion. At one point it honestly felt like the tire might not be replaced at all until the manager asked one of the technicians if they had plugs available to perform a plug-and-patch repair. The technician responded that they did not have plugs available. That was concerning because plug-and-patch repairs are considered the standard method in the industry. The conversation then shifted back to installing the replacement tire. During the discussion the manager also said he would personally pay for the tire, which made the situation uncomfortable because it felt like a guilt tactic to pressure me into accepting another repair instead of the replacement that had already been approved. I also had another technician repeatedly inserting himself into the conversation with his personal opinions even though I was already speaking directly with the manager. Eventually the new tire was installed, but the experience didn’t end there. The manager kept my keys while he stayed on a phone call for more than ten minutes even after I explained that I was on my lunch break and needed to get back to work. I ended up spending almost an hour at the shop. Because of the delay I returned to work more than 30 minutes late and was written up by my employer. After leaving the shop and driving back to work, the tire pressure warning light came back on because the tire was not set to the correct PSI and the TPMS system had not been properly calibrated. This was surprising because during the visit the manager had mentioned that they were the best when it comes to tire repairs and installations, yet the TPMS system was not reset properly. What concerns me the most is that if my wife had been the one bringing the vehicle in instead of me, she may have been persuaded to accept another repair instead of the replacement that had already been approved. I’m not writing this out of anger. I’m writing this so customers understand the full story and can make informed decisions. The tire was eventually replaced, which I appreciate, but the process to get there was unnecessarily difficult and uncomfortable. Transparency matters, especially when it comes to something as important as the safety of a vehicle tire.
