No check engine light on left with check engine light on horrible service no one wanted to talk to me about the issue kept saying I needed additional work when really the service text left my oil dip stick pulled out. Then says a brand new 2019 Chevy trax had a check engine light that was cleared at 4000 miles there’s no way when I maintaine work on my car ,figured the problem out my self , drove car a few days check engine light went off on its own , please read the reviews before going to this place, beacuse I didn’t, and they have a habit of leaving oil dip stick out terrible service

I’m very pleased with my oil change and tire rotation! They really took the time to give my car the car the care that it needs and I also got a good report on Where my car Stands. The front desk was very helpful and kind and they offer complementary coffee and a nice restroom. Staff was friendly and professional. I highly Recommend! Also, I was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to make it to work on time but I absolutely did! They give you accurate estimates on when your car will be ready. Thank you!

Disappointed after thinking I found a good shop On 11/18/2025 I went to Midas at 363 Broadway in Chula Vista because they replaced my thermostat 1 to 2 months earlier and the issue came back. Within an hour they said the thermostat was “fine” and quoted about $1,500 for a heater core repair. I asked if he was positive. He said yes. I told him the heater core was recently repaired and should be under warranty, so I declined. I paid $100 to my original mechanic to confirm it was not the heater core, it was the thermostat. I returned to Midas the same day, but they told me to come back the next day. Then they replaced the thermostat at no charge and still charged $119 for a coolant temp sensor and water outlet. The oil change from the first thermostat visit was worse. I later found I was about 1.5 quarts low, and another shop found the oil filter was not tightened all the way and it was leaking. I thought I found a good shop, but I won’t be back.

Came in for an oil change appointment, had a bit of a wait but I didn't really mind. Walked to get coffee and came back and they were done. Robert was phenomenal, funny and helpful.. even helped with a little side quest removing some old stickers I had lol. Overall great place, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Came in for an oil change and had an amazing experience. I wasn’t oversold anything, I even thought I needed more than I did and they let me know nothing additional was needed. I also experienced their interactions and friendliness with other customers and I couldn’t recommend this shop any more. Great service and very professional.

Poor customer sevice and communication between management and the workers. Bought tires and had one be defective and had to come back another day. Was then told they didn't have it until I spoke with the manager and they said did in fact have it. Then they told me I would have to either come back another day when this location is 30 minutes out of my way or wait 2-3 hours for an alignment that was included in my purchase. This is all after I took time off of work and would be out of town the following day. I would have not known they didnt do the alignment had I not asked and they initially tried telling me it was not needed unless an issue occured.

My experience at Midas was behind my expectations. The manager offered me a ride back to my home while they kept my car so they could inspect the issue I was having with my 2020 Chevy equinox. After all well done and repair completed, they also offered to pick me up from my home for I could get my car. The staff was beyond helpful and professional. I stop by for 2nd time with my other car and samething they received me with a welcome and smiling greeting face...one of the technicians told we just change the oil for your car...lol..my other car same brand model but slightly different the color I told him the service is gone be for my other car right away he checked license plate and smile...I'm so happy with the attention and they remember me...will keep taking my cars for service with them...way to go to your kudos...very knowledgeable and attentive. I’ve had my oil change at this location before and was pleased with the service. So, I figured Midas should be able to help save the day for me. I would highly suggest to make an appointment, especially with a busy auto repair shop like this. In my case, I did not. I just took the chance and asked person at the counter if he was able to make time to install a splash guard for my engine . Lucky me, he said yes and, able to do it today. Yay Well, I was in and out in no time. Again, pleased with the service I received today. With regard to staff, the two that were present at the counter were friendly and engaging (one was the manager). They made my time sitting around in the waiting room go faster. Otherwise, I would have entertained myself playing ultimate8ball on my cel phone ;) Also, glad to see a good amount of chairs available in the waiting area. There was also a small coffee station and drinking water. To add, the waiting area was clean. On same note, I would suggest to have shade or curtain installed on their very extra large oversize windows. The sun was too glaring and bright. I recommend Midas 👍🏼

I had a great experience at Midas in Chula Vista. Casey worked on my 2019 Subaru Outback (150,000 miles), and they replaced the front and rear brakes and rotors, fixed an engine leak, and replaced the radiator hoses. When I drove it after the service, wow — it honestly felt like a brand-new car again. I even joked that they must have replaced the struts as a free gift or something 😂 That’s how smooth it felt. Big thank you to Casey, Stephan, and Tony for taking care of everything and making the whole process easy. Highly recommend this team if you want your car handled the right way.

The auto repair shop is neat and clean, very organized work area. Skilled workers are thoroughly supervised by the managers Javier and Stephen. The skilled mechanics are very polite. I'm at peace bringing my automobile in this facility for maintenance and analysis of needed repairs. The managers are attentive to my repair needs and concerns. They accommodated my vehicle emergency need after an accident even without an appointment; the manager Javier even helped me find resource for my auto's body work and made sure the job is completely done; very professional in every way! I am grateful for the service. I see customers come and go with contentment on their serviced automobiles. Believe it or not, their restroom is impeccably clean!

I Took my 2008 Saturn Outlook with 20k miles into this location today for an oil change. Stephen was amazing and assured me my vehicle would be serviced with care. Gerardo (Jerry) that did the oil change was amazing and checked everything for me as the vehicle has so low mileage. It could not have went better and am Happy to say I will be returning in the future!
