Luis was great, he helped me find the color scheme I was looking for and had it brought down from LA so I didn’t have to drive up there. No pressure sales and the sales manager even helped me find a great insurance broker. I will return to them as a customer. Great service and no pressure to buy. The only negative is the car dealer style set up but with multiple stores across southern cali, maybe it works best to have in place for continuity.

It was a very busy day at the store so it ended up taking about 2 hours, but I could tell everyone was working as fast as possible to get me set up. We just picked up three of the new CFMoto Ibex 450’s and what a pleasant experience that was, Luis Ramos was very helpful on keeping us informed on progress from when the bikes arrived at their warehouse all the way to when they were ready for pick up. I am submitting this formal complaint regarding my recent purchase of a used motorcycle from your dealership and the extremely disappointing experience that followed. The motorcycle was sold to me with an active manufacturer safety recall, which was never disclosed during the sales process. Despite the vehicle having a clear “DO NOT RIDE” safety notice, I was allowed to ride the motorcycle off the lot. This represents a serious safety risk and a major lack of transparency and responsibility on the part of the dealership. When I attempted to have the recall addressed, the service department informed me that the repair would take approximately four days. Instead, the motorcycle remained at the dealership for over a week, with little to no communication. During this time, the salesperson who handled my purchase completely stopped responding to my calls and messages. On multiple occasions, I attempted to contact the dealership and was either ignored, placed on hold indefinitely, or disconnected. On the day I went in person to retrieve my motorcycle, I personally witnessed employees lifting the phone and hanging up on callers or leaving them on hold intentionally, which I found extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Additionally, the dealership attempted to charge me for a new chain, even though the motorcycle had less than 300 miles on it since the date of purchase. This charge was unreasonable and further raised concerns about the integrity of the service department. To make matters worse, after I finally received my motorcycle back, the manager offered me a $100 gift card and then attempted to persuade me to edit or remove a negative Yelp review that my girlfriend had posted. It was clear that the only reason the manager intervened and expedited the release of my motorcycle was because that negative review had become publicly visible. I found this behavior highly unethical and inappropriate. Finally, I want to warn other potential customers to be extremely cautious when doing business with this dealership. I strongly recommend carefully verifying the VIN number, reviewing all paperwork in detail, and double-checking all financial figures, including the down payment, as amounts can be inflated or altered. The friendliness shown before the sale does not reflect how customers are treated once an issue arises. Based on my experience, this is not a dealership I would trust. Overall, the lack of communication, transparency, professionalism, and ethical conduct made this experience frustrating and unacceptable. I hope this complaint is taken seriously and that corrective actions are taken to prevent other customers from going through a similar situation.

I previously left a negative review following a poor experience with the service department. While that experience was disappointing, I didn’t want one individual’s actions to define the entire company—especially since that person is no longer with Del Amo Motorsports. I later removed that review after giving the team another opportunity. I spoke with Josh, the General Manager, and informed him that I was willing to give the service department another chance, with the understanding that I would work directly with either Chris or Rick. Both of these gentlemen consistently deliver five-star service. Chris, in particular, went above and beyond to help me track down parts for a motorcycle that are no longer available as OEM, which speaks volumes about his dedication and customer-first mindset. During that same conversation, I asked about trade-ins, and he suggested I speak with the sales team. That’s when I met Sergio. His enthusiasm and professionalism immediately stood out. He was more than willing to let me sit on—and hear—the motorcycles I was interested in, and he made the experience enjoyable rather than transactional. Sergio also informed me that, as an active-duty service member, I qualified for 0% APR financing. This was later confirmed directly by Synchrony Bank—proof that he knew exactly what he was talking about. All that was required was my LES to verify active-duty status. At the end of the day, proof that attitude matters and that this company genuinely strives to take care of its customers is sitting in my garage. I want to thank Josh for personally reaching out after my initial review, Chris and Rick for their consistently outstanding service, and Sergio for his persistence (and encouragement) to let me hear those engines—worth it, by the way. I’ll see you all at the first service for my Streetfighter V4S. Respectfully, Glenn J.

Great place! I've been through most of the major dealers in San Diego. I ended up buying my first and second bike from Del Amo even though there are multiple closer dealers. None of the other dealers could match the offer on new or trade in I got from Del Amo. You add the customer service standards they are now my go to first stop for anything motorcycle related. Until the bike broke down on the freeway and I was referred to Jose Gamboa, who very professionally followed up with me and presented options that fit my budget. Excellent customer service and a very kind person. I wanted the Yamaha Tenere 700, and both he and the sales team gave me an offer I couldn’t refuse.
