I would actually give a HIGH "10" !!! To ANDREWS AUTO... This was the most HONEST and DEDICATED Auto repair that I have EVER worked with.... was given incorrect info abt the repairs needed at "dealership" in Charleston after is took ONE WEEK to replace my lost key !!...Andrew's did same work requested minus 2 break pads THAT WERE NOT NEEDED AT THIS TIME....that the dealership in Charleston said would be 5x higher ll will be reviewing THEM asap.... buyer beware on the MAJOR AND ONLY dealership for my car in Charleston.

The best automotive repair you'll find in the Columbia area. My Subaru needed a 36,000 mile service. The local dealer quoted $750. I made a list of the service tasks/inspections from the owner's manual and asked Andrews to do the work. I saved more than $500 and didn't have to deal with the rude and unresponsive people at the local dealer. Andrews has maintained my other vehicles for more than 20 years and I've never had any type of issue. Many thanks to Matt, Brian and their troops!

This place is GREAT. I was worried my coolant was leaking because the reservoir kept running very low after filling it. Initially brought my car to Midas where they stated they did a pressure test, found a leak and my water pump/thermostat needed to be replaced for a grand total of $650 (which had just been done 30K miles ago...). Got a second opinion at Andrews, and not only did the mechanic explain all the diagnostic testing he performed, but he showed me on my car how to check coolant in the reservoir and at the radiator. No work needed to be done, my car is fine, and they didn't charge me for the second opinion. It's always hard to find a mechanic you can trust and who is honest and willing to take the time to explain/show things to you, but you will certainly find that here! Wish I could give them more than five stars!

Andrews is awesome. I’ve gone there dozens of times. Great work, very fair prices, and trustworthy. If a repair doesn’t need to be made, they’ll just tell you that. Unlike most places that lie and cheat and charge you for repairs they didn’t even make, Andrews is an old fashioned honest repair shop. Highly recommend.

I can't go on about these guyenough. I truly trust them. Never have to worry about getting hustled. I came a year ago for a blown engine. They did hours of diagnosis but knowing I had to go to dealership right after did not charge me. Wow! Mechanic's with a heart! Year later I sent a friend in and they replaced water pump at very fair price. A week after my coolant leak was diagnosed and fixed in 24 hours. They are punctual and do what they say they will when they say it. Truly Love this shop. I don't go anywhere else!

Charged over $100 extra in labor costs from what I was quoted due to bolt being rusted and them having difficulty pulling out. And was only told of this after it already happened. Just labor Costs totaled $300 for diagnosing/replacing a faulty accelerator pedal sensor, which is unreasonably high.

I recently had some brake work done and a 100K mile tune-up done on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The service Matt and Brian provided was outstanding. I was given an approximate cost for the brake repair, and the final cost was actually less. For my tune-up, they did not try to sell me new equipment that was not needed. I plan to take my Jeep there for any repairs from this point forward. It is a family run business which I will gladly support.

My husband Oscar Cleveland took his car there for sputtering on Monday. By Wednesday the car had been diagnosed and fixed! Honest people with reasonable prices. Very professional and knowledgeable. We have been using Andrew's Auto for the past few years and they always deliver and has never let us down. They come highly recommended. 3 weeks later took my granddaughters car to Andrew's Auto due to her car running rough, shutting off and shaking. Once again they exceeded our expectations. The real problem was diagnosed and repaired within 24 hours! Again, honest people with reasonable prices and extended knowledge. No more dealerships for us.

Had them do a few things that were ok, but won't be back. Irritatingly, they did not test a simple fix after replacing the windshield washer reservoir where there was a crack in the OEM line resulting in the same issue that led me to bring it in. I consulted someone else who said it's a super easy fix anyone can do in 5 minutes with cheap tube and they should have tested it and take care of for little to no charge... Called them about it and got a vague response about level of effort and cost like it was a complex job while never admitting they didn't actually test it initially (I did driving off the lot but it was after hours) so I'll do it myself and have already found a mechanic for the next, more major issue who is trusted by several friends. If you don't test simple fixes, it makes you doubt the major ones.
