Angels 😇 is amazing, great people and great prices. Don't waste your time and go anywhere else. They will treat you and your vechial the right way the first time. Can't say enough good things about this place but if you want it fixed right the first time go to come to Angels.

Doesn't complete work in timely manner. Once complete always seem to have more issues than we started with. He damaged my car and didn't let us know. Always has an excuse to why things were not completed.

I've taken my vehicles to Angel and they do excellent work. They tell you what is wrong with your vehicle and will give you a quote and will not work on it unless you say so. He will try to work with your budget.

He had my kia for three months and everytime I will go check up on my car it was in the same spot I parked it. He said he worked on it but when he gave my car back it was the same issue. He did not work on it. He wouldn't give me my money back cuz he said he had it for three months even though he didn't even touch it smh.

Took our car here a while back due to the AC not blowing cold air and Angel had it for over a week. He finally admitted he couldn’t figure out the problem and told us we’d need to replace the entire AC system (over $900). When we told him we didn’t have that kind of money, he kept telling us that we were rich and could afford it. Even if we ever get rich, we wouldn’t spend $900 to replace something simply because you can’t find the issue. That’s just silly. We finally found time to take it to another mechanic who called us back the next day, told us it was fixed and $80 total. Honesty and trust go a long way and I’ll never trust this dishonest shop again.

I've been bringing my vehicles to Angel since 2005. Even when I was deployed several times to several locations throughout the Middle East, he use to be upfront and trustworthy! That's no longer the case. I have a receipt (1st photo) that shows he changed my water pump out on March 6 ,2020 and it was under warranty (top left corner "Water pump warranty") however, on August 3, 2021 the new water pump went out and he charged me full price for a water pump (2nd photo) because the parts store HE deals with can't find the warranty! Wait, so I have the paperwork that shows a new part was put on last year and it's under warranty, but because his parts store can't find thiers that's my problem? I've spent thousands of dollars over the years and never had an issue paying any amount BUT don't try to pass off a cost to me that's the result of someone else's failure. Even with the receipt, this CROOK tried to CON us. Me and my wife are both Combat Veterans and our 26yr old son has been a quadriplegic since his injury in 2016. We don't have time for B.S. and that's what Angel's is all about now. Please take your vehicles somewhere else. I promise you it's not worth it to turn it over to this CON man!

This is from a real customer and not a family member....DO NOT WASTE your money/time. I am out $200 and the original problem I went to them with is still very much an issue. I now must take my vehicle to a REAL professional because Angels did not cut it. Not to mention, the lady at the front (a family member I'm sure) has a nasty attitude but she knows very well how to take your money!! They had my car for several days and I had to call/show up to get real answers after being told they would get right to it. They took all of a few hours to "look at it" and tell me nothing was wrong. Yet, I'm still having issues with it. I even asked if I bring it back (bc I knew I'd have to bring it back) would they take off the $200 and was told no. I just can't digest being told nothing is wrong and have to pay $200 only to STILL have the issue and they can't/won't remedy it. I thought these places exist so that people who don't know about cars can get resolution. Not to be duped out of money!!

They were great. I called around and they charged me 1/3 the price everyone else was wanting to charge me for labor. I dropped the truck off in the morning and it was done as promised by the time I got off work at 3. Will definitely be using them for any more repairs I need.

I took my truck to SIX other mechanics trying to solve an intermittent problem where the engine would die and refuse to start again. The other mechanics had previously replaced every part indicated by the OBD2 codes and then some. Most of those parts were replaced more than once. I spoke with Angel, and explained I was willing to spend up to $1000 to have the issue fixed. He fixed the problem that same day--for $200. Who does that?! Firstly, the fact that he knew right away what to fix--after six other mechanics (including dealership mechanics) failed--is downright impressive. But he also could have charged me 5x what he did, he knew this, and he chose not to. I weirdly can't wait for my truck to have another issue so I can give his shop my business again. Thanks to six other less competent mechanics, I've got a lot of new parts under the hood, and it will probably be a while before Angel sees me again. I can't say enough good things about this shop.

More like 4.5 Stars. My mother and I have been going to Angel’s for the past five years, and we’ve always received quality service. Angel and his crew are hardworking, good people, and Angel has proven himself time and again to be more than just a mechanic, but a decent human being. Only complaint I’ve ever had is that their service is a little slow, but if you can spare the time, I would definitely recommend.

I recommended this shop to my daughter, because I had a fairly pleasant visit a few months back. Her Jeep Renegade was having what we thought were transmission issues since it would start but not move forward. We towed it to Angels Auto Repair on Thursday July 2, because he told us he could look at it on Friday after expressing that she lived in San Antonio and needed her vehicle. She called him late Friday after not hearing from the shop, and was advised that it was an issue with her brakes. After speaking with him Monday morning, he said he just needed to test drive it and would get back with her. After not hearing back, she called Tuesday morning, and was told the exact same thing-he needed to test drive it and he would get back with her. After telling him he said the same thing yesterday and that she has been waiting for days on her vehicle, he snaps at her and tells her to come and get it. After a "heated" exchange, she picks up her vehicle only to find her Air Conditioner is no longer working. I don't know if this happened as a result of diagnostic work, or if it was purposely sabotaged after the conversation went left, but she will now be taking it to the dealer. Not sure if she was treated this was because she is a single young female and easy to be taken advantage of, or if he has over committed himself. She did not deserve to be treated this way especially after originally being told her vehicle would be taken care of the next day.

Called to ask if they knew how to fix electrical issues (doors not opening with clicker) and to check brakes and rotors but if they were needed to let me know because they have warranty on them. Owner says yes that they actually have a car right now with same electrical issue. Says bring it in Friday morning and it'd take a few days. Maybe a couple of weeks if parts are needed. Well, they ended up shaving my rotors, when I told them not too because they had warranty and they never fixed my doors. Ordered a new battery for my clicker that took months to come in and finally told me they cohldnt figure out my doors. Claimed they see no issue when my doors clearly don't lock, maybe 1 out of ten beeps.. I called every few days and was never told what they did except a part was ordered for the door and they were waiting on it to come in.After almost 2 months of them having my car, I couldn't take it any more. Demanded my car back and the battery still had not arrived. Dared to charge me for the rotors even though I told them id pick up new ones for them to install because the warranty. A month later I brought my car to another brake place because they were just never right after Angels. They immediately told me they couldn't touch it and need to bring it back to Angel's asap because there was a bolt missing and it was aligned correctly with the pad. (Can't remember the technical name for the part). They said I'm lucky that I haven't had an accident because my back brakes weren't able to grab correctly. I immediately call Angel's and tell him what the brake place says. He suggested it couldn't be his fault and to bring it in tomorrow and they'll check it. I did and when his guy looked at my car, I could see his eyes said it all. It was dangerous. I told Angel the brake place said I was lucky I didn't get in an accident... he dared to tell me that he says that to people too when he wants there business. Wow !The audacity! Never again will I go back there. Beware of the lies.

I used to go to Angel’s from 2015 to 2017 and had no issues. I pcs’d to a different location and came back. Had issues with my vehicles and went back to Angel’s. Totally different business tactics. Before you’d be told one price for what he was fixing. Now you’ll get told a price over the phone and when you get there it’s a 75 to 100 dollar difference. Also I paid for a service (was first given a price of 2600 which was later changed to 2900), got my vehicle back and had the same issues 2 months later. So it was still under warranty. I returned it back to Angel’s and it took him 7 weeks to give me my vehicle back. I didn’t start to really ask about my vehicle until week 4 because I needed it for work. He would get an attitude because I was asking about it after he would tell me multiple times that he was going to look at it and call me back, which he didn’t do. It took me going up there multiple times for him to finally look at it and give it back to me. Just know when I finally got it back I still had to take it to another shop 3 months later for the same issue. In the process he changed 378.00 to have my spark plugs changed. Not the wires and spark plugs, just the spark plugs. Definitely overcharged me but I needed to see if that was the issue. So I would definitely recommend 2015 Angel’s. I would definitely STAY AWAY from current Angel’s. 2015 Angel’s would do great work for a great price and have your vehicle back to you in a timely manner. Current Angel’s will give you multiple prices, all of them being higher and you don’t know when you might get your vehicle back. I also had a friend that Angel’s kept his vehicle for 5 weeks and my friend just went and got it back and just took it somewhere else. I’d definitely stay away from current Angel’s.
