Esa gente son estafadores, llevas el carro para smog check y te dicen que le van hacer diagnóstico, después dicen que no lo pasa al meterlo a la máquina y te quieren cobrar por pasarlo chueco, 350 dólares, luego lo llevé a otro lugar y les dije, ellos lo metieron a la máquina y pasó sin problemas y solo me cobraron 60 dólares, el DMV debería estar checando esos lugares.

They do illegal smog checks here usually charges 250$ but I've seen him knock it down a bit he usually gets to the shop around 11am he calls someone to come down and plug the machine in he does any cars!

I have been coming to his place since I was in High school, and I can personally say, he is a awesome mechanic! He knows what he does and has never steered me wrong. Plus he is like family, to the point when I come over with my kids, he has great attention with us and my kids call him pop- pop. Makes me feel like home, when I am there.

I came to this shop because my van didn’t pass smog and the smog place recommended this shop for the repairs. Even though I knew it was an ignition timing issue as stated on my smog report he still wanted to do a diagnostic check and charge me $150 for it. It clearly was written what was wrong and reason for not passing the smog. He had my van for 3 days and I waited for the diagnostic. I called and he tells me it’s going to be a $1500 repair because he has to keep my van for a while to wait for parts etc as it’s an older vehicle. I’m already quite upset at the outrageous price he quoted me to fix it so I went to the shop to possibly pick up my van and go to another mechanic to get a second opinion. When I get there he says that he wants to double check the diagnostic and to disregard the $1500 repair he told me. He said that I am complaining when I am just simply stating my concern because I don’t know what the $1500 was for. And he didn’t even have an explanation for it. Later that day he said it’s only going to be $100 more to repair the timing issue so I paid him $150 for the diagnostic and $100 for the timing. I asked him if he can do the smog at his shop but he said he could not do it for some reason and to go to the same smog place that I went to previously. He said that I should pass the smog with no issues since he repaired the issue. I went back to the smog place and now I have a new issue with PPM being high so it failed to pass the smog test again. I paid for a full diagnostics I don’t understand why this did not come up as an issue. There was no issue with PPM on the first smog and now there is on second one. I think he doesn’t seem to be a very good mechanic because I don’t know where he came up with that $1500 repair charge and now new issues come up on the smog report test. Now I have to find a new mechanic to fix the new issues with the PPM that showed up on the smog report. In addition, my friend even said she went there to fix the starter for her car and he put in a rebuilt starter instead of a new one and it broke within a few months. I found that out after I already had my van there at his shop. Otherwise, I would have not brought my van to his Shop if I had known. I also found out this mechanic shop does illegal smog certification and will charge $350 to do it. Update: I found a new mechanic AB SMOG And Auto Repair and he fixed the issue in one day and did smog it passed all for $350. All it needed was a distributor cap. I wish I found this mechanic sooner and never went to Anton Auto repair.

Carlos was supposed to do repairs on my car so It would be able to pass smog. He was supposed to call me to let me know how much the repairs would cost but he went ahead with the repairs without my permission. When he called me to let me know my car was ready he said it would be $460 for used injectors plus labor. I told him to go ahead and do the smog , he said he couldn’t because I also needed to change the catalytic converters and co2 sensors. Since I never authorized any repairs I asked him to put my old injectors back. He still charged me $75 dollars as a diagnostics charge. I paid him just to get this nightmare over with. He is not an honest mechanic. I would recommend anyone to stay away from this place. Why would I pay him almost $500 and go somewhere else to finish the job, it doesn’t make sense. He was trying to pull a fast one on me. STAY AWAY!!!!

The Service is great and the issues my vehicle had was addressed to me.The Smog Check there straight up legit people and diagnostic was done on the spot.They diagnostic was done and shown the issues I had to pass smog and I had a few showing.I have my own diagnostic machine and the same issues appeared as there did.So just let you know there good mechanics.
