I’ve been going to VW tuning for a couple years now. I previously serviced my Jetta and had received a lot of help/advice from the man at the front desk since I don’t know a ton about cars. I loved this since a lot of places I’ve been to don’t do this or care to explain, they just charge you. Unfortunately I don’t know his name but he was there every time I went. I believe he was about 35 with brown hair and maybe a beard. Looking through other reviews his name might be Kevin? He just genuinely cares about the job and customers. I took my Passat in this past month for a 50k mile service and scheduled my appointment about a week an a half out. This time it was a different man at the front desk who was probably busy, but was trying to get me in and out and I didn’t feel like he listened to my concerns. I think he was a little younger than the previous guy and had shorter hair. On arrival, I asked for an alignment but it wasn’t part of the 50k service so they didn’t have time. That’s fair. Although, through the phone and before the appointment I made note of the washer fluid warning light I had on that i hoped they could fix. This light has been on since I bought the vehicle, although fluid was full, so wanted to get it fixed. I was told they’d call when my vehicle is ready. I was waiting for a call, and didn’t receive one. I checked my email the next day and had received an email so I picked up the car the day after drop off. I asked about the light, and I was just told it didn’t come on while my vehicle was in for service. I found that strange since it came on every single time I turned my car on since I bought it. As I was leaving the light turned on as well as the tire pressure light. I immediately called and was simply told I could bring it back at a later date to get it fixed. I have a very busy schedule and it would take me a couple more weeks to do that. Tire pressure is understandable and I just turned it off. But I am disappointed that the light didn’t get fixed since that was half the reason I brought it in. Maybe the car needs to be driven for the light to turn on, either way I would’ve paid a diagnostic fee if necessary. I am not the expert though, and wish they would’ve given me that option if that’s what they needed to do in order to fix it. Ultimately, I feel like the old front desk person would have been able to help better. I understand things happen and it could just be miscommunication. Either way, disappointing.

Since meeting the guys at Apex Tuning they have taken care of all of my needs on my Golf R that are above my mechanical skills (which are a lot). Not only are they skilled in maintenance, but also performance modifications and also host the best Toys for Tots event to give to the less fortunate during the holiday season. If you own a VW or Audi do yourself a favor and skip the dealership for service and repairs and go straight to Apex Tuning.

I took car to a place that didn’t feel comfortable looking at my car, they suggested apex tuning, I email them, they got me right in on a Saturday fixed it on that same Saturday, obviously Labor Day weekend so I was unable to get it until Tuesday, absolutely not a big deal especially since they got me right in and actually fixed my car!!! I work from home mostly and don’t have to drive often but of course my car would give me problems the week that I have to go in, they were super flexible with me about my work schedule and I am very pleased with the work and my overall experience.
