Alex is a good dude. Took my 99 f-250 7.3 in to diagnose a bad sound. Figured it out quick, fixed it and fixed an exhaust leak. He also sat down with me and provided detailed maintenance instructions so that I keep my Diesel engine running forever.

When you come to this shop you get the royal treatment. Honest, extremely knowledgeable and friendly are a few words I would use to describe Alex. I was new to the area and asked someone at an auto parts store for a recommendation and without hesitation he gave me Alex’s number. The guys at the shop even set me up with a loaner car to use while mine was being fixed! Who else would do that? I wish I still lived in the area because I wouldn’t go to anyone else! Alex is wonderfully helpful in talking clients through the exact issue with their vehicle. The time spend in the shop was hardly any at all, with an overall great turn-around time. The tow truck was able to get my vehicle to the location without issue and even appropriate after hours accommodation for key drop-off. Would definitely recommend in time of need!

My left headlight was out and I was told by Jiffy Lube that it was a wiring issue and not just my bulb. I was referred to Alex at AR mechanics through the awesome staff at O'Rielly Auto parts, and Alex not only helped me right away but also stayed open late on a Friday night to get my lights working. Turned out that Jiffy Lube had just lied about replacing and trying a new bulb, but Alex was completely reasonable and kind enough to not only put in a new bulb but also do a full car inspection before I left. He showed me areas of concern with my car and assured me that if my dealership is unable to do work in a reasonable time that he will help. Amazing service, two super cute kittens that are helpers, and for once I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of at a mechanic shop! I HIGHLY recommend visiting AR Mechanics for all your car needs!

I’ve owned 3 cars and any time I’ve needed help in resolving issues with my cars , I’ve gone to Alex and his shop for help. I really appreciate the thoroughness of explaining the issues I’ve had with my car every time I needed something fixed (me being a girl, I don’t know much about cars 🤣). Alex has helped me see how much other places give you the runarounds, and charge an arm and a leg for some of the simplest stuff . I'm all for supporting small businesses. Alex and his team are amazing. After my husband passed, who was my mechanic, I had slight anxiety when needing to find someone to fix my brakes on my Mazda. I took my 2004 Silverado in for some repairs and Alex was very honest and easy to work with. Alex was up front with how much it will cost and there wasn’t any surprises on the bill. He isn’t trying to rip people off like other shops would and he looked over the whole truck and found some other needed repairs. As well as recommending what should be replaced in the future. I would recommend him to anyone. Very professional automotive shop I won’t go anywhere else. Make the right decision and call Alex he will get you back on the road worry free.

My 2007 Toyota Sienna had a water pump fail, engine overheated and shutdown. Brought it to a different mechanic who said the engine was comprimised and needed to be replaced. Brought it to Alex at AR Mechanic and realized that the engine did not need replacing. He was able to get my car back on the road at a fraction of the cost from the previously given estimate. I brought my 2019 jeep wrangler Rubicon in for work recently. It's far from stock as it's lifted 10" and on 43" tall tires 🙃 Alex was happy to take charge of the work needed. He found worn and broken steering components. A differential locker actuator was failing. Timing cover was also leaking. There were a few other things he managed to find. He replaced and fixed all parts for me. I'm super happy/impressed with his professionalism and work ethic. I will be returing with all my vehicles. The best part for me as a customer? He managed to get my extended warrenty information. He made them pay for all the work. 😁🤯 Thanks again Alex!

His whole crew is clean, and that is saying something, considering the fact that they are working in the grime and grease of cars all day.
