We stopped at Kia just to see my brothers new car and ended up liking a car they had on the lot, they were closing but let us take the car for a test drive, we came back in the morning and closed the deal. Customer service was great from Jacob, highly recommend working with him! Kristin in finance is the BEST! We felt no pressure, and comfortable, they treated us like family. We love our new car!! The sales agent Cameron was wonderful to do business with. Very good listener and very respectful, he spent almost 3 hours with me in my purchase. The manager (Connor), and I sent numbers back and forth several times. He finally came out and spoke to me, we finally nailed it all down (my signature on a piece of paper). The contract was written up, when I went over the price and cost (before signing) i noticed an extra $200 docking fee. I asked for Connor to explain to me where it came from, he said everyone pays it and I reminded him it was not on the paper I signed. He said is $200 going to kill the deal, I said yes. He proceeded to pull 2 $100 bills from his wallet, slammed them on the desk and said there is your $200. I looked at the young man and told him to shred everything i just signed. Cameron was wonderful he came over and smoothed things over, the $200 was taken off and I did buy it from Cameron. Connor never came out of his office to apologize, great management Connor! Would you care to show the paper i signed (that you wrote in green highlighter), where there was no $200 dollars? You never asked me to please sign, you stormed off to your office and closed the door!

I see Smith’s response: We bought the vehicle, so they have our contact info. Just to make sure, I let Noel know his management asked for it. On a Saturday, I drove my daughter from Kirkland up to Bellingham to look at a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq EV. I called ahead, and Noel met us at the dealership and told us the vehicle was charged and ready. After a short test drive, we purchased the car and headed home. On the drive back, we stopped at a DC fast charger — but the car would not charge. Since we didn’t have enough range to comfortably make it back to Kirkland, we began to worry. We tried two additional DC fast chargers with the same result. Eventually, we found a Level 1 charger that worked, but charging at that speed takes a very long time. What should have been a straightforward drive home turned into a stressful and time-consuming situation. The next day, I called the dealership and asked for Noel. He wasn’t in, and the person who answered said he didn’t know anything about Hyundai EV charging but would pass the message along. By Tuesday, we took the car to a Hyundai dealer and learned it had a bad charging actuator. The repair cost was over $700, and only then could the car charge properly again. While we were getting the repair done, Noel texted my daughter asking her to use a link to “leave a good review.” She replied explaining the charging issue. He sent the link and asked if we got it working. When she said we hadn’t — and that the dealer repair would be over $700 — Noel responded: “Oh I’m sorry, no one told me anything!” Unfortunately, that response didn’t help and did not reflect any accountability or customer care. We understand that used cars can have issues, and we did not expect the dealership to automatically cover the cost. But this wasn’t a minor issue — the ability to charge is fundamental to an EV. It’s like buying a gas car and finding out you can’t refuel it. At minimum, the dealership could have offered to inspect it, coordinate a repair through their service department or a sister dealership, offer a discount, or provide some level of customer support. Instead, there was no follow-up or attempt to make things right — just a request for a review. Fine, I'm leaving a review.

We came in with hopes of finding me the "perfect" car. Ive been stubborn about what car i wanted.. Well cameron came through and knocked it out the park for us! The brand new 2027 Kia Telluride. This car was the one the second i saw it. I had no idea i wanted a kia until i sat in this car. It has it all. Checked all the boxes!! Every car cameron showed us after and i test drove couldnt even comare to how awesome this car is. Thank you cameron and Kia team for an amazing car shopping experience. The service and parts teams are exceptional, and their customer service is exemplary. I choose to come here for all things Kia almost whenever I need. Not a single time have I felt ripped off, dismissed, or treated in any negative way. They always get you in ASAP, and always get the job done quick. I also love how they treat your vehicles with care. I love my Kia Rio so much and I never have to worry about them dirtying or damaging her in any way. Jason and Cam were amazing. They helped us get a fantastic used vehicle that fit in our budget. We presented what we needed, and what our budget required and they came thru with an amazing 2017 Subaru Outback with all the extras we wanted! Truthfully, I hate car shopping but my experience with Smith Kia was the best I have ever had in my 70÷ years of life. I highly recommend them!
