I told them I need an oil change & an alignment(Which they are the cheapest in Gastonia for alignments). When I came to pick the car up they told me that they could do the alignment because her strut is slightly bent & her rack and pinion also has shifted. They said if I want it to be fixed it would be about 2K Alright cool! So I called Kia explained it to them and they said it would be about 5K to fix everything. So moral of the story is they are cheaper with work that would be just as good if not better and you would be satisfied with. Not to mention that they could've said hey we did the alignment and everything you asked for charged me for it and no actual work was done to the vehicle and my lady wouldn't even know because she doesn't pay attention to things like that. So we could've got robbed! But they didn't rob us and was honest with us and was willing to fix it less than the dealership was charging! So I'm rocking with them from now on! And I know (if your still reading this) how much was the total for my ladies car? With the oil change like $80 bucks! With everything that we "wanted" done was like $250-$300 which still isn't bad! So the decision is up to you guys! I hope this was helpful!

Had a car inspected pre-purchase for any issues. I had an easy time making a first time appointment via the website. Person at the counter was quick to take care of the car when I arrived. The car was checked over thoroughly with their 27 point inspection, and results were given to me promptly and in detail when it was finished. I reached out after spending hours calling other shops after my clutch started going out in my Subaru. Some shops did not do clutches; some did not do Subaru; some could not do it in a timely manner; some quoted prices far outside reasonability. I was shocked by the contrast when I contacted Darrell’s/Arandas. They took it right away at a price less than half the dealership; I added the tires and rotation and still saved significantly from the cheapest quote I had received for the clutch alone. Furthermore they had it finished the next day, took it for a test drive, and noted that my rear wheel bearings needed to be replaced. They had this done the following day, even adding some extra time/parts at no cost when they noticed rust damage. I saved significant time and money, received personal advice and care, and I feel like I am suddenly driving a new car. I could not recommend them more highly.

Honest work for a fair price. They'll fix what you ask and will identify any other issues in the process. They won't upsell you on anything, but they'll give you a realistic evaluation of the risks associated with inaction. I will definitely be coming back here. My car was a bit messed up from a few broken parts on my driver's side front wheel assembly. They took care of my car and I'm so glad they did! I got a few parts new, some old from a local pull-a-part, but they ended up saving me money! They were able to keep part of my old assembly in use such as my calipers. I saw they were busy, so the work took an extra few hours into the next day but I'm glad with the result. No more loud noises and wobbling on the highway.

I want there got oil pressure sensor changed and was told that it migh or might not fix my problem it didnt it needed a new oil pump which I was quote 5,100 to fix the oil pump and that since I had a knock sensor I should replace the engine block I replace a year ago give me a quote of 5,600 with out telling me it could be a bad knock sensor spoiler it was just a bad knock sensor and dont need a need engine block and I got the oil pump replaced at taylors for 620$ stop trying to take advantage of people

My very reliable ‘03 Camry quite running with no check engine light. Had it towed and the shop I had it taken to could not find anything wrong. Eight days later it does it again. AAA advised of Darrell’s Garage so she was towed there. Arandas asked a series of questions about the situation. He stated that based on the information he obtained the issue was more likely a dirty MAP sensor and intake system. Ten days later and she’s running great and getting 10% better fuel mileage. Great guy, great diagnosis, very happy customer !

My car was towed here by AAA after I broke down midway through my road-trip. I called the shop to inquire about the wait time expectations and to give them a heads up and they were very friendly and professional. Upon arrival they were able to quickly tell me that the issue was something that would need to be addressed by a dealership and advised me where the nearest dealership was. I had to leave to get a rental and they stayed until I returned and the tow was able to pick up my car.

I was traveling from D.C. back to Atlanta. My spark plug blew-out of my engine. It happened on I-85 at exit 19. I got off the exit and google Auto Garage where Darrell's Garage popped up. I was able to drive straight their, my car cut off in the middle of their parking lot. Mechanics came right out and wanted to see what was going on. Within minutes they know the problem and the solution. Another problem, is was close to 5 PM on a Friday. I had all ready rented a rental call, waiting on my Uber to pick me up and take me to my rental and plan on having to drive back to Charlotte on Monday to return my rental and and pick my car up. Before my Uber could leave, Darrell's Garage called to tell me they could put a few extra men on the job and get it down. I jumped out of the Uber, walked back to Darrell's and within 30 minutes later was I back in my car on my way. Nice, fair price, good work, save me the cost of a rental and return trip, I appreciate them going above and beyond to get me out of a bad situation.
