Hands down the best auto mechanics around.The only ones I trust. Over the course of 30 yrs I've taken 3 cars here and for 30 years I've been absolutely satisfied with not only the work but their assessment of what was needed. As an added bonus, everyone of the people I've interacted with over the years, from Greg at the front desk to Mike, the owner, to his helpful and kind son, Mat. I simply cannot say enough positive things. I've also observed them treat every customer who comes into their business with nothing but respect and kindness. One of the things that really stood out to me was their exceptional patience. My catalytic converter was on back order, and they graciously held onto my car while we waited for the part to become available. They also took care of my yearly inspection, which was done quickly and professionally. While waiting, I was able to relax in a comfortable waiting room with complimentary water and coffee. What truly sets this car shop apart is their transparency and dedication to building trust with their customers. I always worry about whether I can trust mechanics with my car. But, they took the time to explain what was going on with my car, showed me the parts they were working on, and patiently answered all of my questions.

Went in for an inspection after moving out of state to MA on a Tuesday, and failed (unfortunately) because of the old exhaust system. Mat, the son, patiently walked me through the process and booked me an appointment the next Monday. Mike, the father and the owner of the shop, took my car in and replaced what are needed to be fixed before they close the same day! And now my car has no more loud noise. The process was fast and the communication was smooth. They answered all my questions with patience and knowledge, so that I understand what happened and what they did. Truly reliable family business! Will definately go back for anything related to my car including routine maintainence like oil change. Thankful for their existence in my neighborhood!

I can't say enough good things about Arborway Auto! I was out of town and got a flat tire, which was super stressful. These guys saved the day. Had my oil change and my battery charged there a couple weeks ago and I highly recommend them! They did the service super fast and the price was great. Today I came over asking if they could change my wheel cover that broke and the owner’s son helped me. He was super kind and didn’t even charge me. Oil change, inspection, and axle repair all done in one day and for a very reasonable price. Knowledgeable, friendly service and they never try to upsell or pressure you to get work done. They do the opposite, very transparently share estimated costs, and let you know proactively what can be put off and which things are important/affect operability and safety. Very glad that they are so local. Recommend calling ahead if possible, like most they are busy and short on space.

Love it here! Trust this team so much, they always do excellent and quick work, and are reasonable with their pricing. They’ll turn you away if they can’t fit you in, which is actually nice because it means that they’re not overloaded and can work on a good schedule and have quick turnarounds, so highly recommend scheduling an appointment. No mysteriously waiting for hours or being told last minute that they don’t have a part. Greg also always has the happiest and kindest tone of voice, even when he’s warning you that your car sounds like garbage and you need more work done. It really helps the vibe.

Can't say enough great things about this place. Took a gamble bringing an older car that means a lot to me here and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Outstanding customer service, the team is reliable, hardworking, and honest through and through, I had repeated issues with my front end (old car) and they have gone above and beyond to help me through it without the runaround. This place is exceptional. I went in for an inspection sticker, which I received and after I was finished, they told me that my rear windshield wiper was beginning to shred and could use changing, but it was entirely up to me. I could come back and they could look at them in a couple of months if I preferred. I've had people strong arm me about things in the past and at one place, I had someone change my windshield wipers without checking with me! So I asked them to go ahead and change them. They had to order them. When I went back a couple of days later, they didn't fit. They apologized and weren't sure they could find a fit, but they did the research and recommended something else. When it arrived it was a perfect fit. I can't say enough about these gentlemen. Honesty and great customer service personified and no trying to talk me into things I didn't need because I'm older and female.

These guys are always great. The work is top notch and they are always honest. Took my car in with brake problems, expecting to need new brakes. Many auto shops would have been dishonest and replaced the brakes. They realized that they were just out of alignment and needed a simple adjustment.
