Be careful Auburn Tire & Auto when someone just wants a price on something they already have been told needs repaired. Receptionist said I would need to bring it by to have them look at it to ensure an accurate estimate. It is for a windshield washer pump replacement. Not complicated 😵‍💫 I know exactly what is wrong and was simply looking for a ballpark estimate. Seems like shady business practices to me. Franklin’s was able to give me an estimate over the phone!

I called and made an appointment with Auburn Tire Services about having a tire replaced on one of our small buses. I thought it would take some time before they could do it, but to my surprise, they said, “when do you want to bring it in?” I said, “I can bring it now!”. They took the vehicle in and called me later and said, all your tires needs replacing and they quoted me a price and asked me was I okay with it, and do I want them to proceed. I said yes! And in no time they did the services and the bus was ready for pick up the very next day. Auburn Tire is the place to go for all tires needs and you will receive professional assistance and services. My daughter started having problems with the transmission in her car, so we started looking for a mechanic in the area that services them. We found Auburn Tire and Auto and after looking at their reviews made an appointment. The lady who answered the phone was extremely friendly and very professional was able to fit us in the next day. We were told that we would need to replace the transmission and were given a quote very quickly. We are very impressed with the service we were provided with and will use this company again in the future!!

In recent months, my car gave me quite a bit of trouble running hot. Auburn Tire & Auto was there every step of the way. First, they replaced my engine, which had a blown head gasket. The second time my car ran hot, they replaced a leaking hose in my coolant system. The third time was more chronic overheating, and my AC and heat both stopped working. My car had a faulty thermostat, so they replaced it. The customer service is exceptional, and every time my car had issues, the service techs were able to find a solution. To say that I am a satisfied customer would be an understatement.

I had my front brake pads and rotors replaced here. After I paid, I was suddenly told that my brake fluid reservoir cap was missing. This issue was not mentioned during the initial inspection, not included in the original inspection report, and not brought to my attention at any point while I waited for the work to be completed. I am not upset simply because the cap went missing while the car was in their possession, I am upset by how the situation was handled. I showed the shop a dated photo taken less than two weeks prior, when I had topped off coolant, clearly showing the brake fluid cap in place. I had not opened the hood again before bringing the car in. No clear explanation was provided for how or when the cap went missing while the vehicle was under their care. When I asked why a missing brake fluid cap — a safety-related issue — was not documented on the initial inspection report or disclosed before payment, I was told this was due to a “new corporate policy” that allegedly prohibits documenting or discussing any issues the customer did not specifically complain about until after payment. This explanation does not make sense. The inspection report was later edited after the fact to add the missing cap. When I asked follow-up questions, the front desk staff was dismissive and deflective rather than transparent. Mistakes can happen at any shop. What matters is honesty and communication. Unfortunately, that is where this experience fell short.
