Me and my family have been going through Auto Care for a little over a year now and let me tell you if you’re looking for fast, affordable, cheap, honest car repair this is the place to go. They’ve always quoted me the lowest out of any mechanic shops I call around to and on top they’re also mobile so when my car has been stuck somewhere they come out to you and if they can do it same day they get it done. This mechanic has worked on many of me and my family members cars and we’ve always been proud of the services and quotes we get. It’s hard to find an easy honest auto shop and i’d recommend this one to anyone.

My brakes were making a grinding sound and I needed to find out what was going on. I couldn’t afford to bring my car to a brake shop chain or a dealership. My friend recommended that I try this mobile mechanic. I called Luis the next morning and he promptly returned my call. He set up a time to come meet later that afternoon. He told me that I definitely needed new brakes and gave me a very affordable quote which was definitely lower than what a typical brake repair shop would charge. He went and got the parts and finished my car in a little over an hour. My brakes work great and I have enough money leftover to get me through the week until I get paid next week. I am forever grateful and I found a new mechanic!

It’s a cautionary post. June 28 2025 I was there for servicing my car. They kept my car for few days for servicing and detailing. Which i agreed because they told me they will take care of my car. But believe me they destroyed my car. When I was there for pick up my car at July 2 2025 I noticed lots of issues on my car. They did not done their job properly which I paid for. They did not detail the car even did not vacuum. Very important thing is they kept my car Turn on for few days so that my full tank of gas burned out and my car got issue. And they did not tide the oil filter after oil change so that oil leaked and engine got problem and engine sign came in. I don’t know what they did wrong with my car. My car was perfect before their service. Now my car needs lots of repair due to their negligence. When i told the guy Luis he lied to me and misbehaved with me and he made a extra false estimated to make more money from me. Luis is very disrespectful, dishonest and fraud. Now my car needs lots of money to repair. They are real scam and fraud. Do not bring your car here. Otherwise you will be next victim.

Luis is amazing!! He did a major repair on our 2012 Infinity QX56 for a fair price after I was quoted almost double the price of $4000 by the dealership. Yes, I was introduced to Auto care Of Tampa through my daughter, Lashanti. Who car had broke Down in the near by area. And had she explained to me how Louis and Diane was so kind and nice. reassure her that she was gonna be taken care. Knowing that’s it’s her only transportation that she has to get to and from work. It is hard to find good mechanics who actually general care about your well-being and your transportation. So knowing that my daughter had a good experience, I took my car there, and I got the same experience that she had received honesty to me is great to have for good business. This guy is awesome! He is not your average mechanic. Since im a woman, I’m typically skeptical with taking my car to shops to get work done. But he did not rip me off at all or upsell me. He was fair and reasonable. He came to my home to do a diagnosis and it did not cost a lot of money at all. He was able to get my car transported to his shop and fixed within 24 hours! He is now my permanent mechanic when ever I need service done. Well done! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Words can not express how thankful I am for him. He helped me in a tough situation. I 1000% recommend him 🙌🏽

I had a terrible experience with this shop. I brought my car in for one issue, but instead of fixing it, they kept finding “new problems” and charging me more and more money every time. It felt like they were just trying to take advantage of me rather than actually repairing my car. The customer service was rude, unprofessional, and not helpful at all. After spending a lot of money, my car still has issues. I would never recommend this place to anyone—be careful, they only care about taking your money, not about helping their customers.

Luis and Diana provided WONDERFUL SERVICE!! I thought I needed an alignment on my car. Found out instead that I needed tires. Not only did they find me a set of tires immediately available, they also gave me a great price and didn’t charge me for the alignment. I have worked with a lot of mechanics through the years. This shop is the best place I have ever worked with. I am grateful for their help!! I 100% recommend them to anyone anytime!!

Update 1/6/26: I saw them again as AC wasn't blowing cold after a while. After diagnostics it was determined the AC lines and condensor needs replacing and they sourced the parts. At the time I couldn't afford the repair so I resheduled for later in the future and they were very accommodating and also gave me the choice to keep the parts until then. My AC is now fixed and blowing cold. I will keep bringing my car to them as they do good work and are honest. They are also understanding and try to work with you. Had some AC issues so called them up. Got me in the next day, diagnosed and fixed my AC issue same day. Very hard to find this level of service nowadays! Very nice people too, will definitely take my car here again!

Auto Care of Tampa Bay was great to work with. Their communication was quick and clear, pricing was very reasonable, and they were more affordable than other places I checked. They were able to get everything done the same day, which I really appreciated. They even included an exterior wash at a great price, which was a nice touch. Overall, a smooth and positive experience. I’d definitely recommend them.
