I normally don’t but reviews but…. Here’s our whole story….. husbands car 06 mustang went to 3different mechanics in 2019 to get check engine light off because of a bad egr valve…. On our fourth try with automedixs they were finally able to fix it at almost half the cost that the other mechanics charged us! Our second time 2020 was a bad windshield wiper motor they fixed it no problem at a great price… our third time was 2021 check engine light was on something with the electric box or something I’m not sure all I know is it was fixed at a great price. Yesterday 2022 I took the mustang back in because the windshield wipes started to constantly work, turns out they couldn’t get the part until today np but the best part was that they did all of the work this time for free even though the warranty had expired by about 2 months. Just wanted to say thank you auto medix’s will see you again later this year for the next mustang problem!

I stopped in on monday and they got to my car in a very timely manner. The price was under the price I expected so that was also great. The receptionist was very sweet and pleasant! As the face of the operation she made me feel comfortable about this place. The car is now running great and I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much! I will recomend this place to everyone I know!! 🚗😁

They couldnt get our air conditioning to work after two times bringing it in, then made the excuse that air conditioners take a lot of money to fully fix. They replaced our brakes too, but we started having problems. So we took it to another shop and they told us Automedix didn't grease our breaks when they installed them! We were having horrible sqeaking issues. Could have been such a safety issue if we hadnt noticed. Don't take your car here unless you want to take it somewhere else on top of that. Go to Jantz. It's well worth the wait.

Very happy with Auto Medix shop. They explained everything that needed repaired in detail before and after the repairs were made. The truck was repaired promptly. Rich and Angie were great to work with. Highly recommended.

Good, honest work. Have been there twice, first was quick service for a fair price. Second time they told me what was wrong, couldn't do the repair but recommended who could, and didn't charge me anything. Also very close to my house (doesn't apply to everyone)

Rich and Angie always deliver great service and fair prices. Example a transmission place wanted over 4 grand to replace the transmission in my van Automedix was able to do it for half the cost. Pretty quick turn around on repairs as well.

Angie & Rich are a sincere shop with highly skilled certified mechanics. Their prices are reasonable for your vehicle and done correctly the first time. The work was done on time. They have serviced our grand daughters car too.

The front desk has an attitude and very nonchalant about customer service. I'm sure the response will be another deflection of how she's entitled to be that way. I provided the wrong card and mentioned leaving my glasses and apologize she literally said hey your giving me TMI, I almost went in. No work was actually done on the vehicle, I was told the part is only available at the dealer. That's not the problem her attitude was, I was referred and name dropped the referral attitude changed! Word of mouth drives business!

I have never written a negative review and if I could give zero stars, I would. The situation we experienced this summer, waiting for our car to be repaired for 3 months was inexcusable. The insanity of the situation was the utter lack of communication. The phone rings at this shop and no one answers, we reached an answering machine only 5 times during that entire time period and never received a return call. When I finally started receiving texts in late June from the owner’s cell phone we thought that we were finally going to receive consistent communication. Yet, responses to my text messages still went largely unanswered. There isn’t even a business website to send messages. I am empathetic and my default is to give grace when things go wrong. I get there is a lack of workers, unexpected things happen in our personal lives, and maybe installing a drive shaft was complicated. But as a business you have a responsibility to OVER communicate to your customers. Also, given how she responds to negative reviews, I don’t expect it will be a normal business response, which would be to sincerely apologize for the lack of communication and stress put on our family, which is what we deserved to hear and never did. She will say that my husband told her there was no rush to fix the car when it was towed there on 4/19. The TRUTH is that he said there was no rush to get it back immediately but that we needed this car when our son returned home by mid-May for his summer job. I guess our mistake was being honest as well as considerate? We paid over $1k up-front on 5/3 for the drive shaft part at their request, which we had no problem doing. She is also going to say that the issue lies with their parts supplier since by the 3rd drive shaft a Toyota engineer realized that it wasn’t correct and that these parts were actually recalled and should not have been sent. I think the fact that you have a supplier sending recalled parts is, in general, a significant business issue. She will probably comment that I sent her a message through Facebook messenger on 6/2 - I did but only because I was looking for their business page, the business name was in her profile, and I recognized her name as one of the owners. My message was polite, and I apologized for contacting her that way. This is after no one contacted us for almost the entire month of May until 5/30 when she finally answered the shop phone and told us we would have our car back that week, even though I had left a voicemail the week before. She will likely also say that we didn’t receive updates because they were working on the car or waiting for parts to arrive. Information like that is an update that we deserved particularly when 1 month turned into 2 then 3 months. The final straw was that we were told on 6/20 that one of our tires kept going flat. Rather than fix that problem while working on the drive shaft issue, they waited until 7/13 to order a new tire, further delaying our ability to pick up our car. We were then guaranteed, yet again, on 7/17 that we could pick up our car before they closed and, not surprisingly, they had yet another emergency/reason why it wasn’t ready, and we had to wait another day. We did not get our car back until 7/18. This was only after our constant request for updates, via phone, text and in person, the last 8 weeks. And then Kenosha Toyota had to replace the coolant “T”, a repair that Automedix listed to be done on the initial quote but didn’t repair it or communicate to us that it was not done. Thankfully, Toyota found it while reviewing all of the repairs. And FYI, waiving a small credit card fee does not remotely make this experience acceptable. And while she said that she took off another 3%, we can't find it. The bulk of the "savings" is the cost of the used drive shaft vs the new one we initially paid for. Point blank if you are in a customer focused business then BE focused on your customers. If this seems ridiculous to you then go somewhere else and save yourself the aggravation.

Had a appointment at this place that was highly recommended. Unfortunately, the lady at the front desk doesn't have the right personality to deal with people. Very unprofessional! Didn't even let me finish a sentence. I was told they do good work, but I'll never know. I understand everyone can have a bad day, but when you are the face of the business, you better treat people respectfully. I'll take my business elsewhere. In response to your poor excuse for your attitude yesterday, I would recommend viewing your cameras if you have that ability. You never let me finish a sentence. I wasn't asking for anything other than a quote to replace something that I already knew needed replaced. I will apologize for swearing at you on my way out the door. I was mad that I wasted my time and I should of read the reviews before scheduling an appointment. Seems like this isn't the first review regarding your poor attitude towards customers. My guess is it won't be the last time either.

I agree with everything everyone has said about this shop and maybe I just came in on a bad day for the mechanics wife. Very disappointed with the customer service received by the receptionist/mechanics wife. Came highly recommend clearly doing something right however I called to get an update on my car and was answered with a yelling belligerent, disrespectful women. Mechanic does a great job, very honest and trustworthy but get your wife under control. You saw her yelling when I came in and even offered to pay so that I knew what was wrong with the car but your wife ripped up the estimate. I didnt pay for the diagnostic because your wife ripped it up. I agree with the mechanic, you wouldn’t expect to work for free and he’s right. Just wanted to get my car fixed and would have been happy to pay the $1000 he said it would be. Explained that a few times but wife refused understandably- it’s hard to back down when you’re in too deep with the drama and lies that came out of her mouth. I’m sure I won’t be the last person this happens to when she feels challenged. I understand the time it takes to diagnose a car, would have been happy to schedule a time. I work As well and my time is just valuable as yours. Truly disappointed and hope she gets that temper under control.

Angie at the front desk had a horrible attitude with me. They replaced my engine months ago and charged more than originally quoted. They were supposed to replace the hood latch but we're unable to because they said the part hadn't come in. When I asked how much more it was going to cost, she told me the part was inexpensive and wouldn't take long to install, so there would be no charge. Now months later I was informed the part came in. I brought the car back and when finished, was charged another $450. When I asked why, I was given more attitude and told she never said there would be no charge. They also took it up on themselves to do an oil change, something I never agreed to have done. Horrible experience and horrible desk receptionist. I won't ever go back and encourage everyone to find a better garage.

Very happy with Auto Medix shop. They explained everything that needed repaired in detail before and after the repairs were made. My car was repaired promptly. Rich and Angie were great to work with. This will be the only place where I’ll bring any of our cars. Highly recommended!

I was driving down Sheridan Road and saw my car that my girl was driving involved in an accident so I quickly pulled in to this business parked and ran to the scene of the accident. Her and her granddaughter who is a 1 year old were hit by a drunk driver and had serious injuries. As I returned to my car a lady came out and said Hey I know you’re here for the accident but this is a private property and you can’t park in here. WOW I get it empathy is not a given in this world but honestly you going out your way to let me know that I can’t park there when you KNEW the circumstances and reason why I pulled in there shows me the type of person you are. I was literally there like 5 minutes. Thank you for showing me where NOT to go!

Went for an oil change. Reception was polite & informative. Seems like an honest place. I'll be back. Update 2024 - Have had my old truck in for a few things this year. Super happy with the service I've received! They were able to find the cause of a coolant leak other shops couldn't.

The woman at the front desk was heinously rude from the second I walked in. Talked down to me, as if I was an idiot, before I was even able to describe to her what I was there for. Less than a two minute conversation was all I needed to know I would NEVER give them my business.

Just picked up my car for rear brakes. The car has 150,000 miles on it. I will say they are honest first and foremost. The dealer basically told me I had several things to do to the car. Auto Medix told me that the car is in great shape and just keep doing what I am doing. Amazing prices as well. I recommend them 100%

My AC was out and I called to have it looked at. I was told that they would not be able to look at it for a few days due to workload so they had me schedule an appointment. That was much appreciated so I could continue to use my car while my spot was held. I brought the car in at 8:30am and received a call back about 1pm. I was given an extremely detailed explanation of the services performed and why each step was taken. The entire experience was pleasant, detail oriented and expedited. I will 100% be returning for any future car needs.

I have been going here for about ten years now. This is the ONLY place I go for anything. The team explains everything, is more than reasonably priced, and is there to help you every step of the way. If you want good work done with honest people at a fair price, this is the only place to go.
