Dishonest, lied to my wife, I was standing there on speaker. Then gave me a totally different story. Said they talked to insurance company 3 times so we put both of them on the phone in a 3 way and insurance had no record of them ever calling. When it came down to it they hadn’t even looked at the truck. Wife called him out on it to his face and he didn’t even say anything.

Dishonest and RUDE. Not just one person. They seem to work together to mis-inform you. I was told my belt broke due to my water pump seizing and got coolant into my alternator, so badly that it also needed to be replaced because it "shorted out". Not true. I inspected my engine cabin before dropping it off and it was bone dry. So, what is going on here?? I understand that most of the time when your water pump bearing seizes and causes a belt to break, that coolant can sling everywhere and cause further issues. But, although that is "common" it certainly doesn't mean that it is happening 100% of the time. Thank goodness I inspected under the hood and saw for myself. I would have been out about 400-500 extra dollars. I wanted to support a local company, this is just disappointing. Please be careful. Oh, and when you call to explain why they are not getting your business they may hang up on you like Ronald did... Just go someplace else. 45 minute later UPDATE : They wouldn't relinquish my KEYS to my tow driver to take the car to a REPUTABLE repair shop. Tow driver had to be the one to notify me that I had a bill to pay, not the 2 people I spoke to that also hung up on me that WORKS for the shop!! I didn't feel that I should have had to pay mainly because I had a problem with the truthfulness of the "diagnostic" findings.. I gave 2 choices, give my key to the tow driver, or hear from my Lawyer. They eventually handed the keys over after hanging up on me for the 3rd time. Apparently there are no morals in this shop. and in that industry, nothing is really more important. anyone can fix cars. Who you go to us up to you. DO NOT GO HERE, they are hunting for ways to lie to people. UPDATE # 2 get a load of this!! So the REAL issue with my car was.... drum roll...... THE BELT TENSIONER..... ONLY.... so new belt and tensioner and I am out 1/3 the price including a tow 25-30 miles away. Thanks Auto Stop, for trying to screw the wrong person over

Horrible customer service. The employees have a bad attitude. Be careful when you have work done on your vehicle because I had loose bolts, my break pads were not done properly, and they damaged my back bumper.

Axel is referenced by an AutoZone staff memebr. My wife went there with Axel and he find out the car failure in 5 minutes! Just great service, honest mechanic service and helped us to deal with AutoZone to get a better deal timely manner. So, just great experience! Best Auto Shop we could find on this area. Highly recommend! Ask for Axel, bilingual (spanish/english) he is car saavy.

Best place in League City!! I have gone here with all of my car problems, and Ron always fixes the problem the first time, and fast! Also, he always explains to you exactly what he’s doing, in an easy to understand way, so you can comprehend what’s going on with your car. Also comparatively cheap.

We took our car in for preventative maintenance in March. We were having no problems before we brought the car in. We invested $966 dollars to address what they represented as the most pressing issues at the time. Immediately after picking up the car, we noticed the steering wheel was shaking and the car was very bumpy on the road. A few weeks later, our air conditioner began blowing hot air only. They told us that the compressor was bad and needed to be replaced. They replaced the air compressor. Regarding the shaking of the steering wheel and the car, they told us the preventative maintenance and air conditioner repair had nothing to do with it. They never acknowledged the issues with that. After spending an additional $1243, our air conditioner still isn't fixed. We took the car in earlier in June to address this issue. It occasionally blows cold air. It takes anywhere from 5-8 minutes to begin blowing cold air (it takes significantly longer to cool off the car). Also, once the car cools off, it starts blowing hot air again. After bringing the car back in, they told us there was a freon leak and tightened the part where the freon was leaking out of and replaced the freon that leaked out. We picked our car up on a Saturday morning and brought it back in that Saturday morning. They told us to bring it in on Monday. We waited until Tuesday to bring it in because the employee (Ron/Ronald) had told us that our expectations were unreasonable. We wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt over the weekend but the problem was still there. They asked us to keep the car for a longer period of time to witness the problem. We called them on Friday (they didn't call us) and told us they couldn't witness the problem. All total, they have had our car in their possession for 17 days and they never fixed our problem. They also didn't offer to pay for us to have a rental car for our inconvenience. They would not offer any type of refund and would not pay for our car to to go somewhere else to get repaired. So after 4 months and $2200 dollars later, we have problems that we did not have before. They did not offer receipts for the services rendered so we are not even sure what we paid for.

Just got my inspection done. Unlike jiffy lube and walmart this place won't make you wait any longer than necessary. Roy is awesome and he's an awesome mechanic! They offer discounts for vets, police and teachers too! You guys rock!

Brought our truck in for a front end alignment and oil change at 10:35AM and was told it would take 1-1/2 hours to complete the job. There was only one car in the bays at the time. We left and came back almost two hours later and truck was not ready only the oil change had been done. I looked in the bay and our truck was still on the lift with no one working on it. The alignment didn't even start until we returned. No excuse for the truck not being ready! The front desk manager Ron took off $10 for the labor, which seemed fair. Their prices for services are more reasonable than other competitors, but don't come here if you're in a hurry!

I'm only adding a star cause there is no option to give none. These guys will try to steal your money and if they don't get it their way they will fail your inspection. Take pictures of everything especially your windshield wipers, cause they will pull the rubber off to try and make you buy new ones. If they work on anything other then the state inspection, they will over price everything for maximum profit. I didn't buy the wipers so they failed my inspection and the reason why I didn't buy them was because I had bought some 2 months ago which cost me $60. Now I have to buy new wipers and pay someone else for an inspection. DON'T GO HERE!!!

This used to be a decently priced auto repair shop(you pay for convenience) when Gary and Ron ran it. Management changes has led to some extremely overpriced charges. Brake jobs that cost $300 at Firestone cost $450 at AS. Today, I brought in a window motor and window rails(I bought my own parts) to see how much it would cost to have them changed out. A. quoted me $280. I am now done with this price-gouging business. EDIT: Car City did it for $130.

I first met Ron at Mr. Rooter he came in when he first opened and i have been a fan since. I talked my Boss into changing fleet services over to him and they still use Auto Stop till this day. I have since referred many Companies including my husband’s business Texas Pool Group for fleet maintenance and repairs. They are always honest and completely easy to talk to and always take care of us in a timely manner. Thanks Auto Stop!

I had a flat tire this morning. My tire wouldn’t hold air at all. I was sitting at the gas station across the street and it showed they didn’t open until 8am. I called anyway. They answered and said they could help me if I could get my car across the street. We got just enough air in the tire to get there. These guys were waiting on me outside and had my tire fixed in 5 minutes. They took a lot of pressure off me and were so professional and willing to help before they even opened. Thank you so much.

I've used Ronald and his shop for the last 4 years. They have always done quality work for a fair price. They even go out of their way sometimes to help out their customers. From Inspections to oil changes and major repairs; he's the one that works on our 3 cars.

had my car towed here after it stalled, i was told it was a fuel pump and they tired to charge me over $1000 for a pump i could get from the dealer itself for $399. Not only that they also replaced the relay and said they just did it because it most likely went out but then had the old pump I kept tested and it was still good. they lied about that part and tried to charge a ridiculous price on an inexpensive part and on top of all this they did not even install the pump correctly, the cap was loose and I could smell fuel in the cab of the vehicle. when I called the owners excuse was that they are hard to put on and he had to go out to help the mechanic. so you are telling me you went out to check it and it was still not done right. blatantly lose.

In a world when you feel vulnerable and an easy target to be taken advantage of, it's nice to have a local "mom and pop" auto shop where you know you'll get an honest report of necessary repairs. I took my daughter's car in today after getting new tires and being told our suspension may need work due to the damage on her tires. Mr. Ron could have easily agreed with them and charged us for a job we really didn't need. Instead, after checking out her vehicle, he assured me that the damage to her tires was caused prior to an alignment he did several months ago and that her car is actually just fine. Thanks, Mr. Ron! Your integrity is why we keep coming back!

These guys are THE BEST EVER! I completely trust them with my vehicle and know that they'll do whats need for my car and not whats needed for the shop. I recommend this shop to anyone having ANY car issues. No long waits and Excellent Customer Service. I've been to this auto car service for the first time, and everyone from the lady at the front desk to the technicians to the manager has been incredibly helpful. Their cost is affordable, and I appreciate that they stick to their timelines, which means that if the car is going to be ready by the time you finish work, it will be waiting for you!!! The mechanics will gladly take the time to address any inquiries you may have. I would absolutely return for any future work because I am quite pleased with the service and workmanship.

This place doesnt even deserve a full star on service alone! While Ronnie is a good technician, the apparent owner and son are EXTREMELY RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS! Customers cannot call and ask for a service without being asked WHY they want the service! When I tried to explain this young son was LOUD and rude and told me forget go some place else! Wow! No wonder Firestone has is doing so well!

Love bringing my car here when I need to. Good honest work, employees are very competent and kind. They explain everything very clearly and they're reasonably priced! I'm never disappointed! Recently went on for a oil change, car clean, they even restored my headlights shiny new! I don't take my vehicle anywhere else!
