Brought in for an inspection, oil change and oil leaked. They completely forgot the inspection! Suggested other repairs. Not sure if necessary but told them to order parts and I would bring car back when they called me with parts in stock. No call yet!

I wished I could give 0 stars. My right light and right turn signal weren't working, they told me I needed to change my switch, that they needed to remove the bumper, this and that... So I spent around $400 for the new switch plus labor (something that didn't fix the problem at all). Once they told me the car was ready, I made the payment and once I turned the car on, I saw the problem was still there. So the mechanic came, then (JUST THEN) he saw that there was a small problem with the headlight pigtail, that he fixed with a glue in 2 minutes. Long story short, I paid $400 for a service that should be $10.

I made the mistake of going to Pep Boys (4908 NC-55, Durham, NC), after the serpentine belt broke on my SUV near them. They quoted me double the fair price to fix it. I called Automan - Perry answered. I'd never met him. He quoted me an honest and fair price, and told me to just get the vehicle to him and he would take care of it. I cannot recommend this business more highly. He is honest, fast and efficient. Many people will tell you they can help fix your Prius but they really don't know the vehicle. If you have any sort of Toyota I would not take it to any other shop. Not only is this person highly qualified but also extremely kind and the prices are very fair, which is important in this economy.

Well, if you’re looking for an honest mechanic, those are the guys! They are transparent and professional. I brought my car for break pads change and turned out that it was a different issue that costed much less to fix. I know places that would charge me for both works and not mention that brakes don’t need changing. And also they are NOT overpriced

I had some O2 sensors replaced by another garage, but kept getting a check engine light a few days later. Went back to the garage and they wanted to charge me for a new diagnostic which I refused. Then a friend suggested I try Automan, so I took my vehicle there and Perry listened to my problem and said he would need to do a diagnostic so I agreed. Perry recommended some fuel injection and catalytic converter cleaning fluids along with using premium gas for the next two fill ups. Over the next few weeks the check engine light would come and go. Finally I took my vehicle back to Automan and Perry asked me to let him try some more ideas at no additional cost. I agreed and now several weeks later my vehicle is running great, no more check engine light, and it passed state inspection. I am thoroughly pleased with the results. I highly recommend Automan Car Care Center if you’re looking for honest and reliable service at a reasonable price .

Great car service experience. I was really impressed with the system they had. While my car was inspected I received real time text updates regarding what the technician found, with pictures! They also texted me quotes for each repair that was needed. I was able to review the pictures and quote (and maybe do some googling) before making any decision. This made me feel really confident/knowledgable about what they later came to me and told me needed to be fixed. 10/10 recommend!
