They generally have the stuff that I need. Some times you have to wait for a cashier to get freed up otherwise generally helpful. Today (2025-08): they was no one in line. Although the cashier had trouble initially remembering the part#, they picked the right one for my vehicle.

The senior staff at this branch said he cannot scan my car because the check engine light is not on so he is not willing to do it. Never heard of that. Autozone offers scan for battery life too, he is lying! Real Bad customer service!

Went in to grab a jump box, but needed a staff member to get it from the back. There were only two workers there that evening, one was helping work on a vehicle, and the other was working the register. While the register worker was very kind and attentive to each customer they were helping, the service was extremely slow (for many reasons, not specifically the worker). After waiting 30 minutes in line to ask for the jump box, I was told to wait for the other worker who was helping with the vehicle. Once that worker came in, they jumped on a register to help get the line down, was not nice to someone (sounded like it was a customer) on the phone, and then made a lot of sarcastic and annoyed remarks once the original register worker asked them to help us at the other end of the counter. They got the jump box for me quickly but then were not very friendly or kind during the purchase process. Perhaps that person was having a bad day, but they were very annoyed that day and it was reflected in their service. The only other unfortunate thing was that a non-English speaking customer who was in line did not understand why I was being helped before them because they didn't know I'd already been there for an hour and they were making a lot of unkind remarks at me the entire time I was being helped at the register. It may have been a one-off kind of day, but I have had similar experiences at other AutoZones in other towns and other states. Unfortunately, AutoZone is not my go-to choice, but they had what I needed, I did get the item, and it was a good price.

Had a battery issue and needed a new one ASAP. From the time I called to check on stock to the time I pulled out of the lot with my new battery everything was great and only took about an hour. Dude who put my battery in with the neck tat (I’m bad with names) was fantastic and helpful. I was kind of disappointed I didn’t have some cash on me because I would’ve thrown him a tip. Would highly recommend next time you have some car trouble.

I'm SO thankful to Kristen, the manager of this AutoZone store, for trying her best to fix for FREE(!) a rubber hose patch someone apparently installed before I bought my car several years ago to grip together the two pieces of my windshield washer fluid hose that apparently had somehow gotten severed. Though it ultimately turned out this was not a problem Kristen could solve herself, she then helpfully referred me to the highly rated Norris Tire & Auto who DID fix the problem for free. . . .AND in less than 5 minutes!!! I'm SO impressed!!! Kristen came outside to my car in our Illinois January weather and worked hard to try to help me AVOID spending money at her store!!! Whenever in the future I need to go to an auto parts store, I plan on stopping first at Kristen's AutoZone store—I'm SO thankful!!!
