I couldn’t ask for better service than I receive at Avery!! They’re always fair and honest (even when they know another garage said my car needed certain, very expensive repairs, which they confirmed it didn’t need!). The guys are friendly, respectful and sometimes even funny. I enjoy going to Avery, which I can’t say about any other service station in my 40 years of car ownership!!

I setup an appointment to get my car inspected and when the time came I dropped the car off at 8:00 am and here it is 2:45 pm and it's still sitting in the spot I left it untouched. I called Twice first time at 12:00pm they lyed said it's going to be in the next hour. Second time at 1:30pm they said it was next. Then at 2:30pm I went down there and the guy working the counter evan had the nerve to BLAME ME saying I should have told them it was more urgent saying I should have said it needed to be done by 11:00am or before lunch! He then said that other jobs are more hot than others. All just to get an inspection. The service here sucks!!!

Seriously these guys are so nice and helpful. I had spark plug emergency and they were able to fit us in after going to 3 other shops that didn’t even try to help us. They fixed the spark plugs and they said one of the coils needed to be replaced as well and got that fixed within 15 minutes. Most places like this I feel like I’m talked down too or taken advantage of but these guys were super nice and seemed to actually want to fix your car, not just make money off of you.

We were passing through from VA to NY when I noticed at a gas station that I had a camper tire that was flat. Avery Auto was only 1/2 mile away so we limped over to their shop to get the tire swapped with the spare. A burly young man walked out with a 3-ton floor jack and his cordless impact wrench in his arms. He set down the jack as I turned to talk to my wife that was still in the truck and by the time I looked back, he had already changed the tire and was lowering the camper. I said thank you and asked how much..."No charge." Really? People like this still exist? Our drive was a rainy mess all the way up to NY. This was one sunny spot in the trip. Thank you so much for helping us and restoring a little faith in humanity.,

I am extremely satisfied with the service I received at Avery’s and grateful they were able to get me back on the road fast. I was on a long road trip with my family and our Suburban started showing serious signs of wheel bearing assembly failure. Luckily I got off at the right exit and found Avery’s after passing a couple sketchy looking mechanic shops. I pulled up to Avery’s 3 hours before closing time. They put it up on the lift immediately and confirmed what the problem part was. Luckily, it was in stock at a local parts store. While we waited for the part to be delivered, they got to work taking off the old part. The new part arrived just in time and they put my car back together. I was back in the road in less than two hours. Many thanks for taking such great care of us.

Without a doubt, these are the BEST mechanics in the area. I am thoroughly impressed with their service! They are incredibly honest, which eliminates any fear of visiting mechanics - I've bad experiences with Miller Hyundai and Big-E Tire. Up until now, they have replaced my front calipers, rotors, pads, and even fixed a coolant leak. I received quotes from Miller Hyundai that were almost 3x higher. They could have charged me significantly more, I don't know how they do it. These mechanics are exceptional professionals, I can tell by their level of precision with the little things such as very clean fluids (flushes) and even aligning the value stems on the tires. These mechanics enjoy helping people. I cannot thank them enough!

I cannot thank you enough for coming through for me in an emergency situation late in the day on June 24. I was nearing the end of a 3,100-mile journey that started in Florida. Heading south, I needed to get to Maryland that night so that I could make my reservation the following day on the Amtrak Auto Train to take me home. As I approached Binghamton, suddenly my check engine light came on and my 2017 Buick Regal started running rough. I was desperate and began to pray. I pulled over and looked on Google Maps for the closest auto repair center when I saw Avery Auto Service. Although you were full for the day (and it was nearly 3 p.m.) you answered my plea for emergency assistance. I prayed to God that you would find an opening and be able to fix the issue quickly. Thankfully, Matt diagnosed the problem (ignition coil and spark plug) and was able to make the repair. I was back on the road in about an hour! I am grateful that God led me to Avery Auto Service! Thank you, Matt, and everyone at your auto service center for treating me with the utmost professionalism and understanding, sensitive to a traveler's desperate plea for help. You were a lifesaver to me and I am forever grateful for your timely and expert assistance in my time of need.

I liked the front desk girl but I had an appointment for 1230 car tires were mounted and balanced, it took until the end of the day. Also was quoted $700 something but because I used a card, there was a fee that put it over $800. Was never told about a fee. I won’t be going back. Still looking for a good shop in the area

My muffler fell off my car while I was driving so I stopped here because it was the closest auto shop. Even though they were busy, they got me right in and fixed my car for me and he only replaced the parts that needed to be fixed after explaining what was wrong. I would highly recommend Avery Auto Service!
