Went okay but could of been better, stopped by around 1pm for an appointment for an inspection and they were going to fail me over rear shocks. They broke 2 of the studs on the wheels but I was not charged for it. New shocks feel slightly better but not entirely sure it was needed? But they said so. Also missing a hubcap which also happened to my mom after she went. Did not get done till 3 and a half hours later. I should probably look somewhere else next time maybe. They did return the hubcap and I have it back on and do show signs of trying to make things right, Just showing my honest opinion.

I took my car here to get inspected and they failed my car when it shouldn’t have been failed. My car is an old car and doesn’t need an emissions test to pass inspection busy it’s still in pretty good condition. They called my dad to tell them my car failed due to the exhaust flex pipe, windshield wipers, and air filter. However, when I went to pick up my car, the only thing they put on there for the reason it failed was my windshield wipers, which were basically brand new. I had multiple people look at my wipers and they looked fine. Took my car to a different garage and they passed my car with no issues. Do not take your car here. They’re a bunch of liars and are just trying to get money out of you.

BEWARE! If I could give this shop a negative 5 star I would. My family brought our van there for a new transmission. Picked it up and on day 1 it was still not working correctly, they gas lit us and said it was fine so we drove it for 3 months until the transmission blew. Took it to a different shop and it was the transmission. Big E’s district manager said to bring it back that they would make it right. Biggest mistake taking it back. After over a month of it being there they said they couldn’t fix it so we went to pick it up and it wouldn’t even start and kicking black smoke out the back. We towed it back to the other garage to have it inspected this is what he found….wrong transmission was put in, intentional cutting of wires and TCM wires spliced to the wrong places, bolts were intentionally loosened. If you don’t have the gall to litigate your grievances save yourself the trouble and steer far away from this garage!!!! The van can’t even be fixed now from the intentional vandalism from this place it’s criminal.

They really helped me out when I noticed a tire losing air as I was traveling south on I-81. I googled tire shops in Binghamton and I called them up. They took me right in, patched the leak in the tire and I was back on the road to Philly in 30 minutes !! What great friendly service !! They are fabulous !!

I have been taking my truck there for the last three years. I don’t trust anyone else with my vehicles. They work hard to get the best options for me, my vehicle, and my budget. I have read some of the reviews and quite frankly, I am not sure why people are saying negative things about this establishment. I read one where a person reported that after 500 miles his lug nuts fell off. I am not Mrs. Goodwrench, but I know you have to retorque lug nuts after about 50 miles … anyways, great guys… great service… won’t go anywhere else. ❤️

Changed managers. I've used Big E for years. However, my daughter came with a leak in her tire. She was told they only change all four tires when she just needed one. In my inspection of my car, I found my wiper was left disassembled and they said it was broken. They both work swimmingly. Don't go to them if you have bumper stickers they may not like. This could be the reason.

I made an appointment to get a tire with a slow leak fixed. Apparently they are short staffed. The guy at the desk was close to a meltdown. I got my tire back an hour later supposedly fixed and balanced. It has the same wheel weight as when it went in and had a screw plainly sticking out of it. The photo shows the tire after their high quality repair. Never going back.

My first trip to Big E was for an inspection. Upon which I was told I needed calipers and brakes on the rear. $750 and 4 hours later it's inspected. Noticed a clicking in the back drivers side tire. Took the vehicle back 4 days later. Another 4 hours later they mentioned my E-brake. Actually said "we're piecing it back together" meaning the cable. Thought in my head at that point was isn't that a part of a NY State inspection? You just stuck the inspection sticker on 4 days ago. So drove away again hoping that everything was good. Went to use my E-brake, parked on a hill, pedal goes right to the floor. Took it back again. They wanted to tell me that by me using the brake it broke. It was fine prior to this. Had appointment at 2. Because no one called me with any updates I walked into the shop at 530. My car is on the lift. Everyone is scrambling to get my car back together. Running out of time i told them to forget it. Just put the tires on. I need my car. Ill make another appointment. So today I take the car there at 830. At 610, they close at 6. I get there to my car still inside. The manager comes out to tell me that my E-brake pedal was unhooked. So my question is did I just pay for a repair on my emergency brake that wasn't needed? They were messing with my emergency brake cable 2 visits ago. Did they unhook the pedal to give more play on the cable? Did they not hook it back up?

My truck broke down and I was able to get it to Big E on Front Street. Not only did they look at it right away but they fixed it on the spot. Matt Blakeslee was phenomenal, friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. And his staff were very helpful and friendly as well. Big E Tires is very fortunate to have Matt as one of their leaders. I will be back with my wife’s Jeep for tires. This place has a great atmosphere.

Came in for my check engine light, Matt took me right in and the problem was solved that day. Incredibly thankful because that’s my blueberry!

Get a second opinion before giving big e your service, I have a disabled veteran neighbor who asked if I could help him pick his car up from Big E on front St, I immediately replied with oh no, what did you take it in for, he said just tires. But big e explained he had a brake on the rear that was seized and the vehicle shouldn't be driven. I told him I would fix it for him. He said he could handle brakes, and said he declined the repair. When we arrived We found rather then make a phone call big e made the choice to put white letters facing out on his new tires, he was very disappointed, but he had waited 2 days to get his vehicle back, and didn't want to wait longer. Why would they not give the customer the choice?? I drove it home, and found the brakes felt fine. My neighbor called after buying all new brakes, and found after prepping to replace everything, that he was lied to and his brakes where absolutely fine. You lost another customer and gained another bad review. Congrats! The district manager must be exhausted trying to keep people happy. In my opinion, it's time to rethink your business practices.
