This place has gone downhill hard... you cant even get to their office without tripping over a bunch of stuff. On my most recent visit, they wouldn't weld a new bung to a downpipe with the cat attached. Two elder men kept mumbling/repeating "$26k fine" and pointing to papers on the wall. The assembly wasn't attached to a car... and replacing an oxygen sensor bung doesn't violate any laws. My guess is they recently go their wrists slapped for illegal practices and are being cautious... and I was wearing dress cloths as I was on my lunch break. I get being cautious about fines... But this is coming from the same shop that charged over $800 for $20 in low grade pipe, awful welds with slag and stick everywhere, and a $60 non compliant catalytic converter, that rusted out in 3 years on the same vehicle. On a another car, it took 4 trips to get a new fuel line to not leak... while being quoted over $2k for a new exhaust system. Its a 30 year old car...the same exhaust system, header back, from Walker, with a lifetime warranty was $400 and took less than 2 hours to install in my driveway. I get making a profit...and I'm more than happy to pay for work I dont want to do on my back... but $1600 in profit for 2 hours of basic work is far from justifiable.

The guys were very nice however the pricing was thru the roof was not impressed with prices. When I came in I had told them the charcoal box for evap was bad. I thought they could of done better with pricing then they did. I dont think I will ever go back there again.

First come, first serves. They get you in and out quickly and are a good place to deal with. Quite a few customers come there and are happy to wait in line. Need exhaust work? Give them a call!

So, these guys are the only exhaust shop in town, and a few years ago i had a really bad experience with them. However I had to use them several times this summer and this time they were excellent. They were nice, straightforward, quick, and honestly amazing rates for work. I can recommend these guys now. The following was my first run in with them which was not so pleasant... I was looking forward to getting a new muffler fitted up to my car. I showed up Friday morning asking about getting my new muffler installed. From the start the guy was surprised that I came in there asking for exhaust work, saying it wouldn't fit, why on earth would I want to put a new muffler in, it's gonna be a pain to do, etc etc... Well I was quoted $250 for a muffler and new tail pipe or $25 for just the muffler to be installed but it "won't" fit. Well after he cut the old out suddenly the new one fit relatively easy... But when it came time to pay it was now $50 cash or $80 card. Sadly I didn't bring cash so my $25 became $80 and not one Hi how are you? or Thanks for your business. They seemed annoyed that I showed up and very uninterested in any business what so ever... On top of that the guy who just started with complaints can't even weld; he welded all of two joints and one of them leaks! I purposely siught out a local shop and was very disappointed.

If you haven't been here, you need to give them a shot. They can be busy and are a first come first serve type operation, so show up early if you can. Best place in the area if you want an honest no B.S. answer. Work is top notch and they are willing to work with you. Bottom line, there is a reason this place has been going strong for years and it shows. Give them a shout and support them

Awesome service today. I walked in and they put my car up 10 minutes later. Then they showed me what was wrong with my exhaust. They then explained how they would fix it. Other places quoted me $1400 and up. B and D fixed the broken flex pipe and put a new muffler on for less than $500! And I was a walk in and was leaving 90 minutes later with a quiet car and money leftover. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP OVER ANY OTHER OUT THERE FOR SERVICE AND PRICE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HONESTY!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

These guys know their shit and are very fair in pricing. One time I asked for suspension inspection to figure out what was making the noise and they found loose bolts, tightened them and didn't charge a dime. Fixed my problem for free. Every exhaust job with them has been less than half what others quote and I have never had an issue.

I went there and asked them to check out the car and give me a price so i can get it fixed. A staff put it up, did an evaluation and told me $405. He even wrote $405 on a paper with what was wrong. Two days later, i have the money so i bring the car in with the paper the staff gave me. I leave. Two hours later, i get a call saying sorry it’s not $405,. It’s actually $700 it was priced wrong. Now that’s a big difference ! So i went and picked up my car and left it parked home for two more days. I went back with the $700 n then they said it’s $756 now. - $56 for taxes. And they giving me a discount because they messed up it was supposed to be $800+. i took my car somewhere else the same day and got prices $475. I recommended going somewhere else.

The level of service here is amazing. I showed up at 8am with my 1989 Toyota Celica that had a muffler hanging on by a thread. Within 45 minutes I got a call saying that the job was done - and done well! The price they charged me for the job wouldn’t even amount to 1 hour of labor at other shops. This is an old school style shop. It feels like a time capsule in the best way possible; Dale Earnhardt memorabilia on the wall, a box fan hanging in the corner of the waiting room, and a level of service and honesty that has been slowly fading away from our world. The only sliver of our increasingly shameful modern society is their new-looking credit card reader. Thanks guys!

I highly recommend this company! Just had work done there and the owners & staff were SO nice to me! They treated my exhaust problem with professionalism and courtesy. The young man, who was assigned to repair my car, showed me the rusted out parts and explained how he was going to fix things. Then he welded the new parts into my exhaust system in record time, and I was on my way quickly in my now safe vehicle. Don and Dennis have always treated me well whenever I have needed to get work done. I have need quite a bit of work done that took a few trips. STAY AWAY They over charge for cat back exhausts. They will find many things to charge you for when getting NYS inspection. There is no way on earth you car will just pass. I changed my oil , air filter and front brakes and they picked the car apart. GO ANYWHERE ELSE

I was introduced to B & D Exhaust by my friend and handyman, Joe — and I’m so glad he did! The owner Don and his team are absolutely amazing to work with. They’re friendly, easy to talk to, and treat their customers with respect. Most importantly, they do excellent work without trying to upsell anything you don’t need. I recently went in for a state inspection, an oil pan and gasket replacement, and an oil change — all done at a great price. They don’t take appointments, so it’s walk-ins only on a first-come, first-served basis. To get to the office, you walk through the garage. The place may feel a bit tucked away, but it’s completely safe, surrounded by quiet residential streets. I highly recommend giving B & D Exhaust a try. Just bring a little patience (as with any busy customer-service business) and you’ll be rewarded with honest, quality work. They’ve definitely earned a loyal customer in me — and they’ll be taking care of both my cars from now on. 😎
