I came here a couple weeks ago to have my front brake pads and rotors replaced. I brought my own parts and the younger gentleman who I spoke with when checking out was very nice and respectful. Throughout the next week after having my brake pads and rotors replaced, I noticed my brakes were till screeching like they were before they were replaced. I brought my car back to the shop, but this time it was an older man there who I spoke to. He was horribly rude from the beginning, asked to see my receipt, tried to say that they only changed my rotors and not the brake pad to which I pointed out where it said rotors and brake pads on my receipt. He told me to bring the car back the next morning and I didn’t have time to so I brought it back the next week. He again told me to bring it back the next morning which I did. Today when I brought it back he asked me for my phone number and told me to give them an hr to an hr and a half. I said that I would like to be there when they’re checking it. He threw an entire fit, yelling at me and telling me he didn’t want to do it anymore then proceeded to tell me to sue him. This was horribly uncalled for and makes me think even more that they know they did something they weren’t supposed to when replacing my brakes. My friend also had a bad experience here with the rude older man and I should have listened to her when she told me not to come here. I would NOT recommend this place at all — extremely rude and definitely not to be trusted. I’m a 23 year old girl, so I’m assuming they thought they can take advantage of me. I will be taking my brakes to be inspected elsewhere and will bring that report back to them at bash. Absolutely ridiculous.

2021: I brought my car in for a state inspection. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The service was quick and the price was fair. Would choose their services again. 2022: I brought my car in a second time for an oil change, the service was great once again, and the price was fair. They even checked my fluid levels and tire pressure! Definitely will be a repeat customer!

Great people and honest service! My entire family will trust no other auto repair service! We have relied on them for over five years to service 6 cars. Bash, Mike and Amy are the nicest, most honest people we have ever dealt with. They Always fit me in immediately and complete all repairs timely, at a great price, and most importantly, correctly. I have never received bad service nor have been treated with disrespect. I highly recommend them and refer friends to them as well.

I cannot say enough good things about this repair shop. They're kind and honest, which is definitely unusual for a mechanic. I just moved to the city, and was unsure of where to go. I had a gut feeling about this place and I'm so glad I decided to go with it. If I could rate them 10 Stars I absolutely would. We’ve been coming to Bash for YEARS! They have always taken care of us whenever we needed repairs for our cars - especially for our inspections year after year. Thank you Bash and Mike for being who you are and being so honest when it comes to cars (and life). You guys are like family to us. Also - if anyone comes here asking about tire repair, they recommend one for you so you won’t have to go look for one yourself - which I love!

Looking at these parts, would you know what's broken or worn out? I know a little about car repair but I wouldn't know, just looking at these what the problem is. We just had the granddaughters car inspected and repaired at Bash Auto repair, the one in Wrights Way and 21st St. When I asked to see the parts and asked them to explain the issues, I was met with an angry owner and worker, who I had previously thought of as a good business. I was literally told not to ever come back again, because I asked some questions, I also usually asked for a printed copy of the bill because I couldn't read the original. That made them angry. All the previously good reviews I gave them, I'm taking it all back! The last word: Don't give Bash any of your business.

Come here for your used car inspection and repair needs!! Initially got them to look at my exhaust and they gave me a great rec to get it repaired at Master Muffler since the exhaust wouldn't be in stock anywhere nearby for nearly a month. After repair, got it inspected there for ~$90. They're fast, nice, and honest.

Came across Bash Auto Repair visiting my mom in Pittsburgh when my engine light came on. Called ahead just for a diagnostic on my 2014 RAV4 to ensure it was safe to drive back. I grew up in a garage, my father was a mechanic, so I’ve always done most of my own maintenance. That said, I fully trust the team at Bash Auto Repair. They’ve inspected a few of my vehicles and handled oil changes, and every time the experience has been solid. They’re genuine people, skilled mechanics, and they take their work seriously without upselling or cutting corners. Hard to find that kind of shop these days.

Not only are the people here super kind, and do not overcharge, but I worked almost every day of the week And could not pick up my keys during business hours(I picked up my car after hours with my spare key). My job was nearby in Oakland and the owner came to my job and dropped it off for me! It was so nice! This car was a fixer-upper for me so I was expecting some criticism in a high bill, but instead i was met with pure sincerity and a surprisingly reasonable priced bill. As a female, I hate car shops and tend to always get taken advantage of. Coming here was a breath of fresh air. I will be coming here for all my car services.
