DO NOT TRUST these Desperate thieves. Pure Horrible garbage trash service , You try these type of businesses out with hopes that things will be professional, giving them an honest shot.. BUT THEY NEVER ARE. This company is a horrible representation of Norfolk …and btw, Yes the F’d up my car.

Mr. John Hendricks the owner had my vehicle since June 12th 2018 he call me back in August the 25th to say that my vehicle is not ready. He had my vehicle over 2 1/2 months to do a paint job. Which he had promised every time I call he said its going to be ready in the next two weeks and it never was. His excuse was while he was taking his time to paint it because I was not there . I was overseas.That is not an excuse I made arrangements in the beginning where he met my two closest friends husband & wife that they were going to be picking up the vehicle paying the balance for me and inspect the vehicle on my behalf. That was the arrangement. One month went by my friends went there to look at the vehicle. He hadvn"t even started the paint job yet He just gave excuses on top of excuses. I had another friend to check up on the truck. No work in progress again. That was 2nd month He is not professional to them . He gave too many excuses why he had not stated on it for no reason. I believe he takes on too many jobs for his shop. I paid half of down payment I have no issues of paying the balance. All I wanted was my vehicle. When he finally finish it . He called to say it was ready. I asked him 8g my friends could pick it up on Monday because they were out of town He said he would had to charge me a storage fee. Are you kidding me.. You had the truck over 2 months and want to charge me a store fee I would not recommend you take your car to his shop !!!!!!!! No professionalism from him at all. His service skills needs to be worked on it does not take two and a half months to paint paint a truck with no major body work done. HORRIBLE!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!

To sum it up "Quality work at a great price." I took my Acura TL to these guys after getting into a front end collision. The insurance company wrote it off saying it was beyond fixing. I choose the buy back option and figured I will give it a shot. Bay Area Collision had it looking new again. Flowless paint job. They took a little longer than expected to fix but you can't rush quality work.

The owner gave me an excellent estimate. Unfortunately I didn't use their services as I sold the car before work can be done. The person buying the car scene the estimate in thought it was more than fair is well. The owner was nice enough to let me keep my car on his lot for 3 days without any charge. This place is won my business anytime I need their services in the future. Awesome communication and very easy to work with. I highly recommend this place.

My car door locked on me. It would not open from the inside or outside despite all efforts. I took it to the Honda dealership on military hwy and it sat there for 4days only for them to tell me they couldn’t figure out how to open the door without recking the door and costing me over a thousand dollars to replace the door, which I don’t know about you but I don’t have a thousand dollars to spend on a door for a car I got from auction because I already do not have the money to buy a new car. I called Bay Area and they give me the earliest next day appointment. The owner was awesome! I got a call like 4hrs later and my door was fixed with minimal damage and I mean minuscule for a fraction of the cost!!! I am thrilled that I can get in and out of my lol. BIGGGG SHOUT OUT to them!

The actual body work was efficient, the experience and professionalism is questionable. I was told my car would take no more than 4 to 5 days. It took 2 weeks, which understandable due to parts having to arrive. I got my car back and was initially pleased, until a good bystander told me my taillights were out. I called and brought my car back to figure out what happened. They examined my headlights and noted the issue. But questioned if I was sure about my lights illuminated prior to work they did. Then told me it's mechanical and they had nothing to do with it. The owner (John)told me I was being irrational and spoke to if i was was child, stating you know cars don't last forever. Take your money elsewhere.

Hello All, First off, John(The Owner) is an outrageously friendly and energetic guy. He made sure to deliver the utmost level of customer service while delivering finished the product in a timely manner. The staff is very focused, skilled and hard working. When I came in for checkups they showed me around and also displayed excellent customer service. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into this repair is pretty insane, even mirroring or surpassing the quality expected on a showroom floor. I'm normally very hard to please when it comes jobs like this, but I am completely satisfied with the job. And the best part is, the prices are very affordable and he is willing to work with you. 10/10. Oh, and the shop is military friendly.

So last Friday, while I was on my way to pick up my daughter from school, my car randomly started overheating. I didn’t know what was going on because there were no prior signs of any issues. So I immediately pulled over. I called my daughter and told her to take the bus home because I wasn’t going to make it. I had to let all the other kids know that I wasn’t going to be able to pick them up either. I then called roadside assistance to get my car towed, but the wait was at minimum 90 minutes. Well I had my baby in the car, so a minimum 90-minute wait was just too long. So I waited for my car to cool down, and I slowly started driving to the nearest auto store to get some coolant. It was only 7 minutes up the street, but 7 minutes took seemingly forever because I had to keep stopping to let the car cool off. Well this man saw that I was in distress and he came over to ask if I needed help. He said he was most concerned because he saw that I had a baby in the car. I told him that I indeed needed help because my car was overheating. So he ran to go get help. A whole group of men rushed in to help my baby and me. That man just so happened to be the owner of Bay Area Collision here in Norfolk. He told me that there was an auto mechanic next door to him name Ty. Unfortunately, Ty’s shop is small and he doesn’t have any signs so it looks like his business is connected to Bay Auto Collision since they share one parking lot. Well anyway, Ty was so worried about my baby that he put some coolant in my car so that we could get home. Then he told me to come back the next day so that he could fix the car. The work that needed to be done to my car was at least an $800 job. Ty only charged me $0.00 for the labor. I only had to pay for the parts. He was so concerned about my baby and the fact that this time of year is tough that he just wanted to make sure we were ok. I am so thankful to God for all those men who helped me. Words can’t truly express my gratitude. My baby and I were complete strangers to them, but they cared about us anyway. That was my Christmas gift this year frfr. I was reminded that there really are good people out there. Merry Christmas, everyone! And if you need work done to your car, go see Bay Area Collision and Ty next door on Cromwell Road in Norfolk.
