This company saved me hundreds of dollars compared to what the dealership wanted to charge me! Mr. Peterson not only fixed my heater and saved me money, but he got me in quickly and didn't leave a mess in my car. Plus, while I was waiting in the cozy waiting area, I was amazed at all of the other services he does and auto accessories he sells. My brother is now getting a Tonneau cover and new running boards for his truck. And I'm going to be getting a blue tooth stereo system and speakers. I am completely blown away by how far Jeremie exceeded my expectations. Not only did he walk me through my options for retrofitting my 88’ Econoline air conditioning, but he also fixed my blower motor while he was at it. Also printed out the wiring diagram for my future reference. My wiring harness setup was sketchy/jankey due to a messy camper-conversion, but he took it with stride, and make sure I understood what he was up to, and answered questions I didn’t even know I had. If I still lived in Bellingham, he’s the kinda guy I’d have over for a beer. Thanks Jeremie.

I started some work on my own vehicles AC system thinking that I would save a bunch of money diy. This was fine for taking things apart (yes, I recovered the refrigerant) but I realized that I needed an expert to reassemble things in a way that I can can be confident in reliability. The owner here was great about doing what was needed and checked with me along the way to make sure that he only did what I wanted done. I will definitely return to and refer others to this business. FANTASTIC. At 58 years old there are very few things in life better than finding a friendly, competent, honest and fair mechanic. Jeremy is likeable, caring, qualified and dependable. I could not have been more pleased with the work I had done here, or the way I was welcomed and treated. These guys are great. I went to Ford dealership to get 99 F350 air conditioner fixed. They tried once and didn’t fix it. Charged me $250 and said it would need new compressor and other components totaling $2500. Called Bellingham Auto Air and they said assuming it needed a new compressor they could do it for $1300. I took it in and within 5 minutes they had diagnosed the problem as clutch slippage. Fixed it in 15 minutes and only charged me $28 (I tried to offer more but they wouldn’t take it). Jeremy completely misdiagnosed the issue with my cars AC. I was quoted an $800 bill when a 3 cent q-tip solved the problem. FULL STORY>>> I went to this business because I thought my car needed a system recharge and R134a (freon \ refrigerant) is unavailable in Washington state. Jeremy found my car did have refrigerant but he found I had a " broken" AC coil. I was given two options to replace the part. One option approx $800 and there other approx $1500. He wrote down as well as told me that he had done diagnostic testing with a multimeter to find the problem. I followed his advice and replaced the $50 part myself which was a simple 2.5hr job. To my surprise this did no solve the problem. In poked around with a multimeter for 10mins and found an up steam electrical connection had moisture in it. A 3 cent q-tip solved the problem. I tested the part Jeremy did "diagnostic" work on and found it to be 100% working. This was overall a disappointing experience. But ill Give Jeremy and his business two stars because he was helpfull when I had questions. If you have a Japanese car try rising sun motors up the street. They pressure tested, dehumidified and charged my AC for $100 less than Bellingham Auto Air quoted.

I can't say enough good things about Jeremy AND Steve who share the business location. I went in with what I thought was a bad A/C compressor, and Jeremy's diagnosis was that it wasn't bad, and then enlisted Steve for his diagnosis. Turns out the noise I was hearing was from a missing O ring in my PCV valve. Costing nearly nothing to repair. They did this with professionalism and caring for me. Fantastic experience. I was quoted a pretty hefty sum for parts and labor for a complete system failure on my second gen tacoma. Jeremy told me there was a very slim chance that the issue was JUST the compressor, and on rare rare occasions nothing else is damaged when the compressor fails. If that was the case the total cost would be like 40% less. He calls me up on the day of the repair and tells me I got lucky, and it was just the compressor. He could have easily replaced the whole system and I'd have had no way of knowing it wasn't necessary. He did honest, thorough work and took his time to explain and show me what he did. Will definitely use him for all my auto AC work.

Brought my Yukon in for a second opinion after a shop told me my A/C compressor needed replacement. Jeremy did a once through and determined the actual fault was a leaking air condenser. He had the part in stock and the repair was done within one day. Jeremy took the extra time to show me how the part failed and explained how the condenser he replaced it with was better than it's OE counterpart.
