I wrecked my car in the middle of the night, after hours and called Bender Mender for a tow. The next morning when they opened I went to pick up my gun that was towed away only to find out that the guy who towed it had already stolen it!! After checking my car and asking the owners several times for my gun back, I had to let them know that it wasn’t stolen and that I would have the Richland County Sheriff come out and investigate. That was the ONLY way they ended up giving it back AFTER they had broken it down and removed the bullets, and had it packaged as if it’s theirs! I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM FOR ANY SERVICES!!!!! They’re some thieves!

I came by this shop 30mins. before they closed. I had to replace a door handle on my Lexus and I did all of that myself but I could not get the door panel back on by myself. A neighborhood next door app suggested this place when I posted an ad for someone to help me put back on the door panel.I just dropped in to see if it was something that they could help with and see about how much it would cost and when they could do the job. The man was extremely polite and courteous and he asked me for my keys and he pulled it into the garage and he snapped that door panel right back on within 5 minutes! I asked him how much it would be and he told me not to worry about it and happy New Year! I'm new to this area, but I definitely know who to go to from now on whenever I need any of my car needs done. I would recommend them to anyone!

I can't say enough great things about this company. They made an appointment for my mother at 8:00 in the morning and they were ready for her as soon as she arrived. Not only did they finish earlier than they told her they would, but they also charged her LESS than they had quoted her. Friendly staff, I highly recommend.

I was referred to Bender Mender via my adjuster when I wanted a shop closer to home. From the time I took my estimate, scheduled drop off and picked up my vehicle, it was seamless. Every individual was helpful, professional, polite and genuinely nice folks! I highly recommend them and appreciate their help!

Professionalism and their attitude was definitely a turn off soon as I walked in the door the guy was very rude and didn't acknowledge me when I walked in the door when he did acknowledge me he looked up from his computer and said what do you want? Mind you this is a automotive repair shop so I can only be there for one thing upon looking at my vehicle to assess his damage he said that it would be pointless to fix this because the insurance company would not pay what it is worth to have the car fixed my vehicle is a 2018 and it was ripped down the back side of the vehicle depending a mailbox the damages couldn't have been more than the car I assure you they just seem very rude and didn't want to express any consumer or repair my vehicle so that is why the shop is getting a low grade in my opinion

Waited a month to get an appointment. I understood that. Called last Friday September 2nd 2023 to verify my appointment for Tuesday September 5th 2023. They confirmed so I dropped my car off Tuesday September 5th at 7am. I was the 1st person there even before the employees. We walked around my car to go over what was to be done and I dropped my key off. I was told my car would be finished Friday September 8th. I rode by that day and noticed my car hadn’t moved from the spot I parked it in until 430 that evening. I felt like going to be a bad deal at that point. I didn’t question it saying to myself they’ll have it ready by Friday. I called this morning Friday September 8th at 11am to check the status of my car. I waited on hold for 8 minutes for the manager to tell me I could pick my car up and bring it back next Tuesday. Next Tuesday I replied. Then I asked had they even touched my car and he said no. At this point I’m livid and told him I was on the way to get my car. Upon arriving he tells me he had the wrong Mercedes in the booth. My response is all it took was a phone call saying that you couldn’t get to my car. He didn’t have an answer for that nor did he have an answer for why was my car left outside the whole time. Needless to say I’ll NEVER attempt to use them again. Bad business is bad business.

We had a great experience with Bender Mender. I can’t begin to say how thrilled we were with the level of work the folks at Bender Mender took to repair our 1993 Mercedes. Jim Wood is fabulous. He explained everything in detail, every step of the way and kept us informed. Great people and great work. It’s so refreshing to find people in the automotive repair business who are honorable and do a great job for extremely reasonable prices. Highly recommend the folks at Bender Mender. They guarentee all their work and do a good job. They don't seem too friendly but no harm, they are polite. They didn't call to give updates on my car repairs but when you call them they will provide that information. The car was returned clean and I was able to leave my rental with them for pick up.

The guys at Bender Mender are excellent. From their customer service to the actual body work, they are top notch. They kept me informed every step of the way when I brought my car to them for repairs after an accident. I got at least 4 calls from them while my car was there, from insurance updates to when they had finished working on it. They finished a day earlier than had been estimated which was nice. My car looks fantastic and they even vacuumed out the inside which proves they go above and beyond the call of duty. I highly recommend them.

I’ve recommended a few of my buddys to them and my father. They did a pretty good job on my truck but They took a year and half on my buddy’s Chevelle after told 8 weeks. Has my father car there now and is on month 8 and was told it would take 8 weeks. The communication and acknowledging customers on the updates is poor and gives false hopes to be finished every week. Especially for the car enthusiast that’s not just there for insurance. They maybe are taking on too much work and are disappointing me with my recommendations I’ve given others. Sucks because everyone always asks me who painted my truck & would have a lot of business for them.

Bender Mender is by far the best place to go to get a quality repair. They do amazing work when they are done you won't even know you had a scratch. They do all they can to get your vehicle back to you in a timely manner & the job is done to perfection. They keep you updated on the progress of your vehicle. Everyone is professional, plesant & polite. They have an amazing team that will do an amazing job. You won't be disappointed, they pride themself on customer satisfaction & they do just that. front bumper and grill was fixed to perfection, no complaints there. In the midst of them fixing that, they had to replace my air compressor and after receiving my car back, air no longer cools when sitting in park and only when going above 40 mph. Called back to let them know and guy had an attitude and offered to take another look at my car today, but I don’t think I’ll be returning. The customer service received was so horrible I rather not even return even though they messed up my AC. Unless someone can truly undo the damage that was done, I’ll be glad to return but after the attitude I received Thursday of last week, I rather pay pep boys to fix the issue and receive great customer service at the same time .

Body shop has to send you link for carwise so they monitor what is posted, very smart. They have poor poor quality work.Original damage never fixed right still waves in paint ,missing paint on door edge.inside of door jam tape paint overspray an filthy inside Told 8 day job for a $2000 job. 16 days for return. 2nd trip,, week An missing paint tape lines bubbles in places that originally was no damage chrome was marked with sand marks overspray an fility inside Scared to try 3 times.Ask for money back to get someone that knew how to fix it but Im a 68 year old woman so I must have been an easy mark. pics is all I could post

I truly can’t say enough good things about Bender Mender Automotive. My car had a paint recall, and the dealership sent it here for the work. When I got it back, I noticed a small spot that had been missed. I’ve had so many bad experiences with body shops in the past, so I was honestly nervous to even bring it up, but I’m so glad I did. From the moment I showed up, everyone was kind, professional, and genuinely cared about making things right. The service writer was absolutely amazing. He looked at the car and immediately said it wasn’t up to their standards either. He handled everything and made sure I left 100% happy, and I truly did. This is a family-owned, local business that clearly takes pride in what they do. They’re honest, upfront, and care about their customers in a way that’s rare to find. Bender Mender did a great job with my 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport, I would highly highly recommend them for any car repair needs! I've been using their service for years now, and I wouldn't expect anything less, but after ripping my front bumper off, they fixed it up in about a week and a half and had it looking brand new. This should be the first place you look when you need a bender mended!
