We brought our truck in for an oil change. The mechanic did a thorough check of the vehicle. The only thing he found was that the radiator was in desperate need of a flush. He showed us the fluid just so we would know what he was talking about. The service was outstanding. Mead kept us up on the status, and notified us promptly when it was completed. We will definitely refer him and return for other services on our vehicles.

**Warning: Unethical Practices at Bender’s Automotive** I had a disappointing experience with Bender’s. The final bill included an additional $1,000 for parts not listed in the original estimate. I was not informed or asked for approval despite being in regular contact with the service manager, Mead, throughout the repair process. I do believe he did this intentionally. Would not recommend going here.

I wanted to write this review because I was extremely impressed with the expediency and service at Bender's Automotive. I brought my car in for an overall checkup, and the new owner was extremely accommodating, helpful, and precise. They performed a thorough evaluation and diagnostic of my car in preparation for two long trips. The overall experience was just great. Benders automotive is awesome ! Very professional with Quick & reliable service , great communication and warranty for their parts and service. Much more advanced than other primitive shops with their text and cost/work approval via smart devices makes it so simple to communicate. They also provide a loaner vehicle if necessary which is a bonus. Waiting room is very comfortable and well setup with water, snacks and coffee and a clean restroom. Mead (owner/manager) is a Straight forward and honest mechanic who I trust. My father had been taking his vehicles there for many years when I was younger and now I will continue to go there. Thanks again to the team @ Benders for getting me in & out quickly. Highly recommended. !!

First off, highly recommend! Mead and his team did a baller job on my old Jeep that had several leaks along with several other minor fixes to bring the vehicle up to its optimal condition. They were super thorough and diligent in the work performed and doing their best. High quality work at the best value! They are solid fantastic mechanics and I’m stoked to have found them! Where to begin…. I brought my truck in on 4 th of October Because I thought my transmission had blown a hose. I shared the information I had with them and after about 24 hours, I was presented with a quote for approximately $10,000 for a brand new transmission from some third-party manufacturer.. Mind you it had been less than a year or just over a year since I had my transmission replaced at this shop. They had no record of the truck ever coming in in the first place, nor were they willing to search through their records to find any documentation of the repair that had been done. I had to go through my documents and find the receipt for the then $6500 job That they had done on the truck last May when I provided them with those details they were able to confirm that I had in fact They had in fact worked on it. Next thing I know, after only authorizing a diagnostic procedure my truck and transmission had been separated, and the transmission was on its way to Florida. They did this without my authorization and without providing me with a quote as for how much it would cost prior to doing so. After about five weeks, they told me that I would have to pay them approximately $3000 in order for them to ship my transmission back from Florida where the warranty that I had purchased transmission with was paying for the work to be done to replace it or repair it When I commented to the owner that I had never authorize the transmission be removed from the car in the first place he got quite volatile with me and told me that if I did not pay them, he was going to put a lien on my truck for the 40 or 45 days. It had been there and charge me $100 a day for Storage of the vehicle that they had disassembled. Begrudgingly, I paid this in full prior to the job being done. After another week and a half the transmission had arrived from Florida and was installed in the truck. At this point in time, I realized who I was dealing with. I asked them the price for an oil change just for the price and they sent me some ridiculous quote for about $250. I did not agree to have this oil change done nor did I sign or authorize anything to be done at all beyond the diagnostic originally yet they went ahead and did the oil change supposedly charged me another 250 bucks, Said that they clean the air filter, replace the oil filter and change the oil. The air filter had obviously not been cleaned, The cabin air filter which they Charged me for does not exist on my make, and model and the oil was black when I arrived at the shop immediately after they had changed the oil supposedly. The new owner, Mead is Terribly unethical. To top it all off upon arriving home I realize my truck is leaking transmission fluid so all in all between the rental car for a month and a half the transmission Repair(Which is supposed to be under warranty?), The oil change that was not done, I’m out about 8,600$. At this price point I would’ve been better off having a custom transmission built in a week by any number of other providers, but because the transmission was removed and sent cross country I was forced into doing business with what is by far the worst shop I’ve ever done work with. Would not recommend to anyone to bring their vehicle herez

Everything is top class with reasonable labor rate, except payment using credit card added 3% more cost. I had a choice, but I wasn’t reminded of the extra charge due to using my credit card - the only minor flaw which can be easily improved in the future.

I brought my Ford Fusion to Benders Automotive due to sputtering at low speeds. I was told the issue was a direct injection high-pressure fuel pump and coolant pump, and I was charged $2,100 for the repairs. The very next day, the car had the exact same problem. When I brought it back, they said they could not fix it and then claimed it was now a torque converter issue, quoting another $3,500. I took the car to Ford, where it was correctly diagnosed and repaired. Ford confirmed the real issue was a purge valve, not anything Benders replaced. I paid thousands of dollars and left Benders Automotive with an unfixed vehicle and a misdiagnosis. I am now pursuing this matter in small claims court. Is this really the kind of mechanic you want to trust with your car? ’m posting this as a follow-up because the situation has only gotten worse. Benders Automotive failed to fix my wife’s Ford Edge despite charging us a $2,100 repair bill. After multiple chances to make it right, I was forced to take this matter to small claims court. Instead of resolving the issue, he’s now trying to file an extension—clearly hoping I’ll just go away. I won’t. What makes this even more frustrating is that Benders charges $170 per hour, which is nearly the same as a dealership. The difference? Dealers stand behind their work and guarantee their repairs. Benders does neither. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay away from this shop. There are far better options out there for the same price—or less—with actual accountability.

Came for an oil change and was out within 30 minutes! Super quick & great price for a full synthetic oil change & only paid less than $90!! Much less than Jiffy Lube & Valvoline! They also took me in without an appointment and on short notice! Highly recommend, they did a quick job and were very attentive! Great selection of snacks & drinks in the waiting area too 👌🏽 If your service takes longer there’s lots of locations walking distance for snacks and other goodies

First off this place is so kind. They are good on prices and they really to try to make it work out for you. Danielle, who is at the front is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She really treats you with respect and understanding. She ever skips a beat and is very honest and incredibly considerate. The owner as well as everyone els at the shop has always been straight forward to me about my Volvo and it’s been a pleasure doing business with them.
