I stopped by because the low tire symbol light come on while driving my car. The bays were full of vehicles being serviced so I parked and walked over to see if anyone could check my tires. The serviceman said he'd take care of me. I pulled up and he checked my tires and added air where needed. No charge!

Great service as usual. I had my tires rotated and rebalanced. My only suggestion is that they could’ve checked my tire pressure. I thought they had done so. So, I had to go back a couple of days later and have them take care of them. It only took a few minutes, but it would have been nice to have them done during my initial visit.

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish.I had a nail in my tire which I knew was not patch able and I suspected that I needed new tires as my current ones were not passing the penny test so when the sales person called me I was not surprised He was able to give me 4 new tires that were comparable to what I had with a longer mileage warranty as well as a 3 year warranty, that will cover the tire if I get another nail where it can’t be repaired. I would recommend them this has been my second experience and each time has been a good experience and each time it has been with different representatives.

I had a frustrating experience with this team replacing my trailer tires. (nothing wrong with the tires these are service issues) First- after the work was complete I asked to remove the charge for new valve stems since they were not replaced. The inside sales person then tried to tell me that they had to replace them when you install tires. When I explained they were metal stem and obviously not replaced she said they have to remove and rotate the stems to align with holes in the tires. When I said you mean you remove the stem from one wheel and install on another like I am stupid she said that is how you get air in the tires. After this debate she said she misspoke. She then said it was someone else who made the quote so not her fault. She did reluctantly refund the money for the valve stems. All she had to do was to go look and verify the stems were not replaced not come up with some story to try and convince me I am stupid and don't know how valve stems work. Second- upon returning to my vehicle to leave I did a quick walk around and found a lug nut laying on the ground (near the driver side rear) and found one was missing on the passenger side. I walked in to explain I was frustrated that I found a missing lug nut and she offered to have the tech install but at this time after her made up story about valve stems I said I don't trust your shop to do the work. When I got back to my vehicle one of the techs met me to explain the threads were stripped on the stud and nut and that was why it was not installed. Exasperated I asked why they did not tell me and I had to find the lug nut laying the parking lot (not near the wheel). I said I understand a new stud would need to be installed and why did they not come tell me what was needed or provide a quote to repair. He then walked away telling me good day. Two issues here that were dealt with poorly. All the woman had to do for the valve stems was verify and say no problem we will correct it and all the tech had to do was they should have told me there was a damaged wheel stud. They both made it out like it was my fault and I knew nothing about how tires or wheels work. I had previously recommended the great service at the shop and like to support locally owned. I also recently had to have a flat repaired on another car. Simple screw in the middle of the tread. They ended up installing a new tire "under warranty" and I was charged the fee for the new warranty. At the time I did not question it but after this recent experience I should have asked to see the tire and think they could have taken advantage of me in billing for a new tire. Since I have tires on my car from Big O the warranty has to be performed there but I will really think before visiting this location again.

Terrible experience. Called in the new Big O Carefree/Cave Creek location for an appointment for a new set of tires and was told it would take a couple of hours, it too four hours. After it was done the balancing weights were put on the outside of the tires, so it looked terrible! I went back inside and asked them to put the weights on the inside, they did, took another hour. Paid and when I drove off it was making a tapping sound inside of the wheel well. I turned around and took it back in and another 30 minutes later they finally fixed the problem and the job. Mind you, these were in stock tires and it took 5.5 hours to finish. I was pissed and exhausted! Billing and checkout. When I paid, they automatically tacked on roadside warranty and an alignment and other add on items I never asked for plus none of these extras were explained to me, they were just added to the bill like it how they did business. The assumptive close; put it on the invoice and some folks will complain and some won't! I was soooooo ready to go after all this. Warranty. I tried to use the warranty and free rotation, they said, "you cannot make an appointment for warranty work" so I am not going through waiting without an appointment for these guys to "sweat me out" in the waiting area for something I already paid for! I don't have that kind of patience. I did get the rotation(s) done for about 18 months through another provider and paid extra. Not a great experience or value. Save yourself the heartache and please do not go to this location. I since went to another location of Big O and they did it right! Also they offered appointments for warranty work. If you need tires and service I would recommend anyone but Big O Carefree/Cave Creek location. Try Big O at Tatum & Thunderbird, 100% better!

The shop was really nice and clean and comfortable to be in all of the employees were very polite and professional. Anthony told me a coolant connector needed replaced on my car that was plastic and it turned out it was broken inside one of the little hoses that's where the crack was and I had a friend fix it in 20 minutes for just the cost of the part which was $40 and your shop quoted me $506. That is the part that I thought was kind of outrageous although I do appreciate you letting me know it needed repaired. I will come back there for oil changes again when needed.

Instead, over the course of three months, my vehicle was severely disabled by a team unable to perform the level of work they undertook—and those errors were later protected by another team under the same franchise rather than corrected. Instead, I experienced repeated misrepresentation of repairs, dismissal of safety concerns, and pressure to accept incomplete or incorrect work. I am deeply concerned this conduct may affect other customers. Documented issues include: • Wrong transmission fluid was used; this was not acknowledged when a new transmission was presented as “necessary,” omitting the true cause • Transmission replacement forced me into an extended rental car • Vehicle shudders violently when AC is on, making it feel unsafe • AC compressor was under warranty, yet I was charged for a new one • Compressor replacement was double-billed and immediately followed by severe shaking • Work was performed involving airbag systems • I was later told Big O does not handle airbags due to lack of certification • I was also told airbag work had been performed by a non-certified technician • Warning lights were repeatedly dismissed and later tied to airbags not functioning • Steering components were left unsafe, including screws not replaced and later described as hazardous • Vehicle returned with missing or unsecured hardware, including an engine protection plate left hanging • Horn and cruise control failures were not properly repaired • Multiple return visits were required due to errors from work performed the prior day; many visits were not documented • An incorrect belt was installed, causing the vehicle to break down and require towing • When I requested safety issues be resolved, I was instead offered an oil change • At the Cave Creek location, the manager was frequently not on site, and vehicles appeared to be worked on without direct supervision • I was told management knew errors were occurring but could be fixed—yet they were not • All warning lights remain on • Although verbally stated to be “safe,” this is my only transportation and I have lost all trust. I am taking my life on the freeway in a vehicle ablaze with warning lights I was told to “monitor.” ⸻ Lack of Corporate Response • I contacted the Big O consumer complaint line on 11/23 • No one from corporate or regional management contacted me • I was given a $700 check for non-certified airbag work, which felt less like a resolution and more like being told to go away—while my vehicle remained unsafe ⸻ Financial Impact Between transmission replacement, repeated repairs, towing, rental car costs, and related expenses, the financial impact exceeds $18,000, yet the vehicle remains unresolved and unsafe. ⸻ Final Statement I trusted this company because I am not a mechanic and relied on their professional expertise. Instead, my car was compromised by work beyond the team’s capabilities, and those failures were protected rather than corrected. This is not professionalism. This is not accountability. As I was traveling through Arizona on a long trip from New Mexico to California and back, I felt my tire was out of balance and upon realizing my tires were very old, decided to get 4 new tires with Big O. Great service was provided, not only was my truck ready and back on the road in about 2 hours I had the peace of mind knowing it was smooth sailing Thank you Michelle!!
