Following a recent spinal surgery, I entrusted the service of the sway bar links on my lifted 2007 Nissan Titan to this location. A few months after the service, I began noticing changes in the handling and operational characteristics of my vehicle, particularly in relation to an abnormal lean. Once I had sufficiently recovered, I conducted an inspection of the front steering and suspension components and discovered that a different style of sway bar link had been installed, differing from those originally on the vehicle prior to the service. Additionally, the service team removed aftermarket brackets that had been installed to relocate the sway bar, which has subsequently compromised the integrity of my vehicle's steering and suspension system. These modifications were made without any prior communication or consultation with me, resulting in damage to other components of my vehicle. As an experienced and educated mechanic, I raised these concerns with management via email. However, the lack of responsiveness and apparent disregard for both my vehicle’s condition and the safety of my family and myself has forced me to address these issues independently.

My car sprung a flat just inside Provo limits, and a quick chat with AAA revealed he was not going to be capable of getting off my well rusted on rim without a lift. It was almost 6 pm, so I quickly called around to see what was open or who could get me in first thing... Keith over at Big O's answered the phone and all my questions. He was helpful and kind, and the process was painless. My car was towed over, and it would be in first thing. I was in McDonald's right next door when Big O's opened in the morning watching as all the men busied about their jobs and got right to task. It's not a small operation they have over there. They know what their role is, and everyone quickly got to it. My car was up on the hoist, 2nd in line for that lift, that morning, and my phone was ringing early. He chatted with me about the condition of my tires. (I'd already talked about them before I left Ontario Canada for this road trip, so I had an opinion).... like a great salesman, he gave me the information and a bit of his opinion, and then as I shot him down, he took it graciously. I could hear it in his voice, the sound of concern for us over concern for cash so I reached out to my mechanic son who said it wouldnt be a bad idea to take the tires depending on his pricing etc. A few more back and forth convos. I was chatting to Keith, then my son and we had made a new plan. Again, I could hear relief in Keith's voice, genuine concern for our wellbeing. I was on the road again,all fixed uo before 9:30 am. I had 4 new tires and new stems and still had money left in my account... We jumped back out on the open road and headed for California. We drove to long Beach, watched the Daytona 500, all through Arizona and Albuquerque, over to Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas, then up to Kansas and Missouri etc. There was not one issue with my car after I left Big O's in Orem, Utah. I probably will never head back to see Keith or get my tires changed and Big O's again.... but if I were local to them, I'd absolutely trust my car to them again, and I'd highly recommend you give them a try if you're in need ♡ Safe travels, my friends.... oh, and if you should happen to make your way over to this Orem Utah, Big O's location... be sure to take some time to enjoy the view.... what a glorious place to break down ♡

2 1/2 hours and $101 for an oil change is absolutely unheard of and ridiculous! Worst experience I’ve ever had with a car service. Don’t come here unless you plan on wasting half of your day.

I rolled into the parking lot (literally) after loosing my braking power last night, they were close to closing, and these guys squeezed me in and repaired the gushing brake fluid leak that was happening. Jaren was a phenomenal ambassador of Big O Tires. Every crew member I interacted with was great. Blew a tire and had to put the cruddy manufacturer one on in the rain. Called at 4:30 when almost closed and Danny said to come on in and he’d take care of it. Showed up half soaked and he had us out of there with 4 new Cooper tires in 45 minutes! Also, as my wife and I sat there waiting we observed that he never stopped working the whole time. He even walked over to sweep up the popcorn area floor after a bunch of kids came and made a big mess. Great guy, solid deal, AMAZING service! Quick, someone promote this guy!

It's not that they do bad work or outright lie to me but I'm starting to get the feeling that they're getting too comfortable gaslighting and upselling me. I moved into the neighborhood in 2023 and have been coming to this location for almost two years now and there have been a number of instances that have me scratching my head. For one, they never have the tires I request in stock, but always have the Big O equivalent. How convenient. Also, their tires and notably not "just as good" as my preferred brand. They once tried to tell me they couldn't align my truck until I replaced the front axle bushings for a steep price, of course. I bought the bushings and went to replace them myself, only to see that while old, they were still quite functional. There was one worn bushing unrelated to alignment that needed replacement. I drive a Toyota, btw, and I've had my truck aligned numerous times since with no comment on the supposedly spent bushings. I once paid them to replace and rotate my tires and drain the air from my power steering lines, which were causing my pump to whine. It was a busy day for them and so I had to leave for work before they were quite able to finish but they charged me full price (well over 100 bucks) and told me that I could return to finish the job. When I did a few days later, I was told that the job was already done and that my pump "just sounds like that," even though I know full damn well what my pump sounded like before the power steering lines were replaced. And to be clear, most of the guys are pretty straight shooters, it tends to be this one guy who's name I don't remember. And to be honest, there's plausible deniability on their part in all these negative experiences, thus the three stars. All the same, I think I'll be going to another location from here on out. They do good work, just be on the lookout for the upsell and go to a proper mechanic for anything outside of tires and alignment.

I just had to right a review. I have been coming here for years and so has my sister. They always are so kind and quick, they let me know every single detail and I should’ve wrote a review previously but after going here for I’m pretty sure the third year in a row I just had to say how amazing they are constantly. They never try to sell me on anything I don’t need or anything expensive. They keep everything straight up and always have me leaving reassured and happier then when I arrived. They do great work and considering I am/ was a mechanic for a while it’s saying a lot to have them do my work for me!
