Took my truck in for a once-over to figure out some squeaks and rattles coming from the front end. They put it up on the lift, shook everything, took it for a test drive, and ultimately gave it clean bill of health. Lifted trucks squeak and rattle. They didn't charge me anything for their time and expertise. It's good to have an honest shop to go to.

By far the best auto mechanic shop we’ve used in the state of Utah (and we’ve had a variety of cars & issues for close to 15 years) Thorough in assessment and explanation, great communication, provide timely options and solutions in order of priority and/or safety, sensitive to those who lack auto/mechanic knowledge, fair and ethical. Highly recommend!! Love that it’s family owned and operated as well. My only regret is that we didn’t discover them sooner.

OVERVIEW - 4.75 Came here prior to a journey up to Idaho for a simple oil change. LOCATION - 5 Right off of State Street there in Orem, you can't go wrong. PRICE - 4 I did consider the price just a touch steeper than I anticipated, but I agreed and paid the fee anyways for an oil change. PRODUCT/SERVICE - 5 It's an oil change. Not much to say, as I don't have much experience in it myself. I have noticed however, when I start my vehicle, it rings and says I need to change the oil, so I may need to take my vehicle back in and have them quickly fix that. I'm sure it is a simple fix. POINTERS/PERKS - N/A Nothing that I can really think of at the moment. EMPLOYEES - 5 The staff was friendly and pointed out simple issues that were foreseeable, in my case one of the tires I have is starting to cup.

I brought my 1984 Bronco II to this shop with the expectation of having vacuum leaks properly diagnosed and repaired. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing and quite frustrating. Despite spending over $1,000 on repairs, the issue was not fully resolved. I had to return the vehicle multiple times, but even after two separate visits, the vacuum leaks persist. I expected a higher level of thoroughness and accountability, especially given the cost and time involved. the prices they charge for labor were mostly reasonable, while some repairs were ridiculously priced compared to other shops in the area. I don’t recommend this shop

I was referred to Flip’s through Discount Tire. I am new to Orem and had yet to find a good mechanic. I called, left a voicemail about my concerns for my car. They texted me within 24 hours to set an appointment, which to me, was amazing since it feels like no one returns voice messages these days. When I went to take my car in they were friendly, fast, and what I was most impressed with was how many returning customers they had that they knew by name, car, and repair. I really appreciated how specific they were in communicating with me about my car and how to take the best care of it in the future. 10/10 will be returning. Thank you!

Go to Flips even if you live in another town, it is worth the effort to go to car repair shop. They worked on my 13 year old Honda Accord for a check engine light due to a failing catalytic converter. Their pricing was extremely fair and while it was on the rack, I asked them if they would check on a tire noise that I was hearing while on the freeway. Since the tires were previously bought from them, they rotated the tires and told me the sound was due to safe to drive cupping on the tread. On a different visit they pointed out a worn hose intake to the air filter which they were also able to replace within 30 min and at a very reasonable price. Go see Kristen at Flips they are reasonable, fast and do honest work!

I drive 30 minutes and bypass many other shops to come here. Flip's shop was recommended to me by a mechanic friend. This is where he takes his car when the job is too big to be completed at home. Great honest service, I came in with a list of repairs. They determined that not all of them were necessary and charged me less than the original quote.
