Made an appointment to get my tires replaced and was met with unprofessional service. Two older gentleman checked my car in, which took them more than 30 minutes to do. Half of which they spent teasing me about giving them a tip, going so far as to ask me for my card and saying they couldn’t do their service without a tip from me. They took the other half of that time going back and forth with each other about which tires needed to be replaced. They then informed me that my alignment was pretty bad, so I’d have to go elsewhere after the tires were replaced to get that fixed. I did go somewhere else after to get the alignment checked and it was completely fine. They were unprofessional and didn’t know what they were talking about. I won’t be going to this location again.

Don’t go here. You can still go to another Walmart, just don’t go here. I paid for my service completely online for my tires to be installed last night. After the install (which took more than two hours) they gave me an additional fee which I was not informed of. I had to return today because my tire air pressure light went off… so they didn’t even install them correctly. I’ve been waiting in their line for half an hour and no one has talked to me. I’m going somewhere else to fix their problem. Update* Walmart severely under inflated my tires during their installation! I went to Les Schwab to get my tires inflated and they informed me that they were only at 20psi, which is super dangerous for a tire that needs 35!!!

I would give a zero star if it was an option. I came in to get an oil change and was told it would be 1 hour. I agreed. I’m still currently waiting and it’s be 4 hours. 4 entire hours. FOR AND OIL CHANGE!! The worker has his baby in the garage. Is someone to say I’m on a hidden camera tv show?? Every time I look outside nobody is to be seen aside from the mas tending to his newborn baby.

If you have nothing to do all day then come here to get your oil changed. Got here at 9:15, said it was going to be a hour & a half.. now it’s 11:36 & they haven’t even started on my car! The worst auto center I’ve been too. Just sitting in the waiting area watching the 1 guy answer the phones while customers are WAITING right in front of him for some help. Smh.

Came here multiple times and had no issues. The last time I went, they made me wait over 2.5 hours when the original wait time was only 30 minutes. Once they got to my car, they told me they didn't have what they needed to perform oil changes on my vehicle. They continued to gaslight me and convinced me that they never had the part, so apparently all my previous oil changes weren't done correctly. I've recommended them for years, sad to say I will never go there again.

I got an AGM battery from here 2 years ago, it started giving me some issues so I took it to 2 different places that said my battery went bad. Took it here to get a new battery under my warranty and the gentleman kept saying it’s good and if I wanted a new battery I would have to buy a new one. Right after they charged the battery I went to the dealership up the road and they tested it again and they said the battery is going out. I used a harbor freight cheap battery tester and it said it was bad too! Mind you this is after Walmart did their check and recharge. So 4 separate tests and their battery tester still said it was good. Either their tester is rigged or your battery has to be on fire for them to honor a warranty. I don’t want to wait to be completely stranded somewhere because their stuff doesn’t test correctly. NEVER BUY THEIR BATTERIES!

0 stars, showed up as it opened. The worker told me it would take 45 minutes. I waited an hour and a half, then he said he could get me in 30 minutes. But by then I had to leave for work.

I've never been treated so poorly by a business in my entire life. Cody was dismissive and very condescending. I will never use the walmart tire center in Orem Utah ever again!!!!!!

I wish there was a zero star option, I understand that the automotive team is understaffed but I have never experienced such horrible service from any other Walmart center. You need to hire more people or figure out a better system for getting people out the door. Waited two hours for a 30 min oil change and they up charged me for the oil saying that they didn’t have the more inexpensive option (felt extremely gaslit). Everyone around me waiting seemed super frustrated because they had been waiting too.

The autocare center went above and beyond today! I accidentally locked my keys in my car dropping off for a oil change, and they spent 30 minutes helping me unlock it so I didn't have to call a locksmith, their service was very appreciated!

I came here 3 times in a year because my car kept dying and i couldn't figure out why. After being so frustrated walmart auto charged me for 2 brand new batteries during this experience. Finally i went to a real auto shop. The problem was just that i had a corroded batter terminal. It would have been so easy for them to fx or tell me about. But instead they just charged me extra

These pliers off the freeway exit gashed open my back tire today. CODY was so professional and kind - absolutely amazing customer service and know-how. Helped me overcome a stressful experience and get back in business

"In July 2024, I had an oil change done at Walmart, and they forgot to put oil in my car. As I was driving on the freeway, my engine exploded. This caused me significant financial and time-related damage. When I reached a Walmart store (this happened six minutes after leaving the service center), their response was, 'You need to come with a mechanic, police, or lawyer.' As an international student, I didn’t have any of those contacts, which made the situation more complicated. My experience was completely unpleasant, and I strongly recommend not using their oil change service or any of their services. I ended up losing a lot of time, money, and could have been injured.

I had an appointment and was early to it for an oil change and tire rotation. I was told that the tire rotation would take extra time because of their system not allowing previous jobs to be marked completed. After 3 hours I called them back and the tire rotation still was not completed and was told it would still be several hours because they could not update the system. Will not be back because someone doesn’t know how to put a sticky note on my work order that work was done and should be marked when system is back up instead not completing work at all and just shrugging your shoulders and saying oh we can’t do anything. Additionally it’s a good thing I checked their work because my calls for 6.4 quarts, and they overfilled by almost a whole quart. This may not seem like a big deal but too much oil can cause thousands of dollars in damage. Needless to say I’m not going back.

They charged me 15 bucks for a rotation they didn't do. When I asked about it, the woman at the counter was pretty rude about it all. At first the charge was rotation and balance, then I was told "we didn't rotate it, it was for the valve stem." I asked "can I have my valve stem back? I bought that two days ago and didn't want it thrown out" I was told "go ask the guys outside I don't know where it is." Guy outside says they didn't replace it at all, didn't rotate anything either. So I'm left dumbfounded on why I'm being charged 15 dollars. They refused to make any of this clear or give me a refund. Please, be up front with the services you charge. You can't throw away people's tires and valve stems without their consent. You shouldn't be balancing without consent. You shouldn't be charging $15 nonsense fees that you get angry at customers for asking about.

When I brought my car in to change my tires, something went wrong and they denied any responsibility for it. Car has been having significant issues since and I called them and they told me they can’t do anything about it. Might be best to go to elsewhere for any services. Also, the service took 2.5 hours when I had a scheduled time to do it. When I asked for an estimate after an hour and a half, they said 30 mins and then it took another hour. Overall very unprofessional and has caused me time and headache and money that didn’t need to happen.

Order some tires for Black Friday and somehow they got canceled after the sale and it created a big mess. The manager and Jenny were both sooooo amazing!! They found me the tires I had ordered honored the sale price and got me an appointment. When I came back for my appointment they recognized me and made sure everyone knew what was going on. Not once did I have to say or ask for anything. They took amazing care of me. I always come here for my oil changes and have always had great experiences.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Walmart Auto Care Center on Sandhill Road in Orem. I came in as a walk-in, fully understanding that walk-ins come with longer wait times. I asked upfront how long the wait would be and was told approximately 1.5 hours. That seemed somewhat long but reasonable, and I appreciated what I thought was an honest estimate. Unfortunately, that estimate turned out to be very misleading. I ended up waiting over 2.5 hours while multiple cars were taken in and serviced ahead of mine, presumably scheduled appointments. My vehicle remained parked in the same spot for at least 30 minutes, and even the car in front of mine wasn’t being worked on during that time. The final straw was when they began servicing another vehicle that had just arrived, while mine and the one waiting in front of mine were still untouched. There was no communication, no updated time estimate, and no indication that my car would be serviced anytime soon. Based on how things were going, it seemed very likely that the total wait would have been at least four hours if I had stayed, which is unreasonable considering the original estimate was only 1.5 hours. At that point, I asked for my keys back and left without having any work done. I understand prioritizing appointments, but if walk-ins are going to be pushed back indefinitely, that should be communicated clearly and honestly from the start. Accurate time estimates and basic transparency would have made a big difference here.

As someone who knows nothing about cars, I have had a very positive experience here! I always have questions and they are very kind in helping me (shout out to Trevor). They have explained to me why certain services are important and what options are best for my budget and the longevity of my car. They’re pretty quick with their appointments, and any issues I have had have been quickly resolved. Overall, great customer service!
