I am from out of town on vacation. I found a leak on my transmission fluid hose on Saturday morning. Orem Transmission found the part and had it fixed the same day at a reasonable price. They also found a part that has been rattling for months and fixed it. I highly recommend these guys. They do good work and are trustworthy.

Good guys! I brought my 1990 Nissan 300ZX in because it was having trouble shifting and grinding gears. They were able to explain to me that the transmission was going out. Given the age of the car they were able to find a transmission with 50,000 miles and a 6 month warranty. It only took them a week to get the part and install it. I can already tell the car runs better than it ever has. The total cost between parts and labor ended up close to $2000 which I think is reasonable. Would definitely recommend if you need transmission related work

My Nissan Juke was having a hard time accelerating on the freeway (had to floor it to maintain at most 70 mph) I took it in to Daniel and he fixed it so quickly and it ended up being a more simple and less expensive fix than expected. He explained to us what he was doing and why and how to avoid this problem in the future. My car drives better than it did before it even had issues!

They had my car for 25 days. But at the beginning it would take only 1 week and 1500$. After all they try to charge me 2200$. We had a hard moment and then final price was 1750$. I don’t recommend this place. There is a plate upon of his door saying: “honest, fair, quick” that’s a big lier.

Danny and Marco did their best to save my 2010 Camry from death, even going out of their way on the 4th of July to service just my vehicle. I believe God was working through these gentlemen in a way. They special ordered a Transmission Control Module, but in the end we decided to trade it in since it was 10 years old anyway. They did get the car running very smoothly before the trade-in. Marco recommended a great car salesman at the TOYOTA place in Orem, so we went and traded in the car. In the end, I would definitely go back to Danny for a major tune up. Danny also has an incredible singing voice which can make any stressful day feel bright.

Great service! We drove down to Orem from Meridian Idaho to purchase a used Mini Cooper on a Saturday. On the test drive we decided we better have it looked at by a mechanic because there appeared to be oil on several components under the hood including around the turbo. We stopped in, and they took our car in immediately, looked it over really well and told us it was actually condensation that builds up and dust and road grime were actually collecting in those areas. They put the scanner on it to verify no codes had been erased and said all was good. He then told us how great these little cars are and not to worry as it was in excellent condition after all. When I attempted to pay them for their time they refused payment and thanked me for giving them the opportunity to look the car over and since nothing was needed I should have a great day! Wonderful to meet ethical men like these! Thank you again!

I called Daniel with a concern about my car's transmission (2005, 155k miles on it), he told me to bring it in so he could look at it. He asked me a handful of quick questions and I offered to leave the car for a day or two asi could tell he was very busy. He insisted that he take it for a quick test drive. When he returned he told me that he is not at all concerned about my transmission and said it feels solid and shifts gears really well and to return with any further concerns. He refused to let me pay him for his time (and my peace of mind). I've definitely found my go-to mechanic!

At first I was told by an oil change company hat there was a leak in my transmission. As soon as I got to this place, Danny was kind enough to help me, he lifted my car looked around and as he was inspecting he explained what the real issue was, he explained and gave me two options if i wanted him to fix it or check it, I asked if he can check. As he check and inspected a little more he found that the transmission had no fluid what so ever and filled that really quick and explained everything he was doing as he was going along. I was comfortable and confident and was able to trust him with my car!

I would recommend anyone and everyone to get their transmission rebuilt here. I got mine rebuilt for $2500 which is at least $1000 less than other places (I called multiple places). Also, other places said that if they needed more parts while rebuilding the transmission, they would keep adding more to the cost. Instead, this place just charged me a flat fee of $2500 and gave me a one year warranty. I’m really happy I came here. Both the owner as well as the mechanics are easy to work with. Arguably one of the most honest mechanics in all of Utah County.

Wonderful and honest mechanic. Brought my Sequoia in ready to shell out $3500+ for a transmission rebuild. Mechanic told me I was only going to need a fluid flush. Cost me 1/10th of what I was anticipating. He could had taken me for more (as I am sure most other transmission shops would have), but he leveled with me and sold me only what was needed. In and out within the same day! Highly recommend this shop!

My experience with Daniel at Orem Transmissions might be the best experience I've ever had with a mechanic. I had a problem with a slipping transmission. I took my truck to the dealer and *without even looking at it* they told me I needed to replace the whole transmission at a cost of over $5,000. So I took the truck over to Orem Transmissions for a second opinion. Daniel took the time to drive it with me to feel what the transmission was doing. He asked me questions about the truck's history. He explained my options and made sure I understood them. He identified the exact problem and replaced the part within two days. In fact, he promised he'd call me by noon and then called at 10:20 AM to say the truck was already done and ready to be picked up. I don't think I've ever had a mechanic call before they promised they would. The truck hasn't shifted this smoothly since it was new! Parts and labor were under $700. I am very satisfied, happy and grateful for the help I received in getting my truck back in excellent shape.

He was supposed to rebuild a motor on my vehicle said he didn’t have much work at a shop at the time he kept extending the date further and further for when it was gonna be done. He said the car was still overheating and he had no idea why and just kept asking me on what to do. I don’t like told him was that’s what I’m paying you for. The card kept sitting there and he said he needed it out of the shop for other jobs yet the work had not been completed at all. I ended up having to get the car towed. He also caused over $5000 in paint damage to the car. They were negligent, leaving the keys in the car at night and also Being careless around the car, causing major damage.

Had my tires changed here two weeks ago. Starting hearing clunking a week later. Not anything too loud to be concerned. A couple days ago the noise got louder on my way back from work to picking up my two kids, which lead to my car not being able to be drivable. Had to leave my car behind that night and get myself and kids picked up. This morning I removed the cap and the Bolts fell right off. Many were broken. Came to the owner and he was very rude and blamed me saying I had to have done something to my own car to have caused this. I was very disappointed due to the fact I had work done from him prior. The mechanic did not seem to prioritize my safety, which is incredibly concerning. I would not recommend this place if you value thorough and careful work on your vehicle

DO NOT get any work done here they have no idea what they are doing you will waste time and money and a lot of it! I only ever post bad reviews on things that are horrible. He cost me about 10k in motor damages and 8k in paint. They are negligent and unprofessional. Paid for parts they never swapped out see pics below water pump and freeze plugs covered in paste and the shop I have it now will have to replace all the gaskets they put on incorrectly. Caused paint chips and scratches all over I had to replace the bumper and fender. And have to get the car repainted. When the car was over heating they would ask me what’s wrong with it. I will be taking them to court soon. Lots of pics and videos!
