Always get the job done quickly and correctly. I’ve had a few big jobs done by them that they made less painful and I always have them do my maintenance.

We have used Cleggs for all kinds of repairs. They have replaced our brakes, battery and several other repairs on an older car we had. They are super competitive pricing wise and so helpful give us honest answers and advice on best steps to take. They don’t seem to just be interested in our wallets. They pride themselves on good service and care of the customer. We LOVE Cleggs. They do our safety and emissions testing and on the spot renewal too. I am always shocked at how fast and efficient they are.

I have only had positive experiences here. They do their best to meet my needs/asks as far as cost, time, and quality. They feel like a classic store that just wants to help and make the world a better place. I really like bringing my car here. 10/10 store!

They got my timing belt and water pump changed in about 4 hours, definitely very quick and so far I haven’t had issues. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that they charge a lot when they shouldn’t. They didn’t bring my car into their work bay until like an hour and a half later, so they only were working on my car for about 2.5 hours and still charged me for the full 4 hours. I’d like to give them 5/5 for their score for everything else but because of this I’ve got to give them a lower score.

This place is amazing. I've been with them for years and truly they take care of me. Even if I have issues or we sometimes have miscommunication on my part or theirs, they always make it right. Good people to trust your car with. They're super friendly and forthright so you don't have to worry about any extras being pushed onto you. Highly recommend them if you're looking for quality work, service and people. 10 out of 10, my friends!

quoted my mom 3k for a secondary 12v battery for her prius for "labor costs" via word of mouth, she ended up just getting a new car because of it and the prius got passed down to me, swapped the battery out by hand in under 20 mins and the car now runs like new, preying on moms is low, do better

I recently brought my car to Cleggs for a simple coolant change, and it was a complete disaster. After the service, I noticed that my heater completely stopped working. Upon inspection, I found that they hadn’t properly bled the cooling system, leaving air pockets that caused the heater to fail and made my car unsafe to drive. Even worse, the coolant reservoir was left EMPTY, which is basic negligence. The bubbling sound coming from the engine after I shut it off was a clear sign they didn’t do the job right. This level of carelessness is unacceptable. I will never bring my car here again and would not recommend this shop to anyone. If they can’t handle something as straightforward as a coolant change, I’d hate to see how they handle more complex repairs.

I recently took my car to Cleggs for a routine coolant change, and it turned out to be a huge mistake. After the service, my car’s heater completely stopped working. Upon checking, I found the coolant reservoir was empty and air had been left in the system, causing bubbling noises and risking serious damage to my engine. This is basic maintenance that any competent shop should know how to handle, and their negligence has shaken my confidence in their work. I’ll never bring my car here again, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values proper care of their vehicle

Was able to get my car problem fixed super fast. I didn't have an appointment and they were able to get my car done in under two hours. They had two alternatives they could do as far as price so that was nice to be able to decide what I could afford.

I think these guys are good people, and seem to know how to do their jobs. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review, especially of a small local business that is filled with people I respect. That being said, I have never had such a brutally bad experience with any other mechanic. Engine swap, diagnose grinding noise along with a new clutch and many other parts replaced in my car. I brought it in with what I thought was a blown head gasket, they agreed that that is the issue. I ordered an engine and everything else needed for the swap along with anything they requested we replace. Some parts were supplied by them. At some point they damaged my hood to the point of it being inoperable, they had a good attitude and paid another shop to fix it. When I came to pick up the car and pay them there was still smoke and a bad smell going through exhaust just like before the work. They said it is likely due to build up still flushing out of the system. There was still a grinding noise I had brought up repeatedly throughout the months that this work was being done. The person that took my payment said they had test driven it multiple times and couldn’t hear a grinding noise (laughable). I took it on a 5 mile test drive and told them before paying the noise was still there. I took their word that if something serious came up they would work on making it right. I paid, like a sucker, out of respect for their time. I drove about 3 miles home after getting a full tank of gas and car wash very close to their shop and worked for a few hours. I needed to go and pick up my wife, and their shop is on the way. I stopped by again to see if it was a better time to talk to someone about the grinding noise. One mechanic came out and sat in the car, agreed there is still something wrong, and acknowledged the very obvious grinding noise. We went for a short trip, about 3 miles, onto the freeway and off the next exit turning back to the shop and the car started overheating. We coasted the rest of the way to the shop which was just down the hill. Popped the hood, no clamp on radiator hose. Car over heated to the max, which had never happened before, it had never gotten that hot as I had always noticed in time beforehand. So, after about 12k in parts and labor, my car is in WORSE SHAPE THAN WHEN I FIRST BROUGHT IT IN! Today is the following day, I just finished a call with them to see what the status is. They are looking into what might have caused it and seemingly trying to work with me. I asked about my payment… the gentlemen on the phone said they are looking in to it and insinuated that it might have been my fault as I had driven it around for a while, and if the car didn’t overheat when they supposedly test drove the car then it might have been something I did to it. Words cannot describe the level of frustration I am experiencing. I have never been so cheated. They said they are still looking in to it, and I will gladly change this review if they do actually make it right and I end up getting the service I paid for and expected. As of now I feel like I have been stabbed in the back by a fellow local business and that possible legal challenges regarding this could be taking up my time this year. UPDATE: Mechanics could not figure out what’s wrong with engine, offered no solution other than buying a new one and paying them again for the same work. An employee was in the car with me when the radiator hose became disconnected and they continue to act like it’s my fault. They took no responsibility. Shops like this are why mechanics have such a bad rep.

Amazing experience with these guys, have had my vehicle worked on twice by them and not only are they fast and efficient, they are very honest and take time to make sure you and they understand the problem and the solution. Had my starter replaced by them a few months ago and was so impressed they were the first place I went when my transmission started making some noise. When they couldn't get the truck to make the noise I was talking about, rather than hand the keys back over to me they had me come down and take a tech (Diego) out on a drive with me, where we were able to make the noise happen. The next day, got my truck back, no noise, and very fair reasonable price I paid. Big huge thanks to Diego, Eric, and of course Kyle for everything you guys have done. When the inevitable happens and I need to come in again, I'll be happy to be served by you again. 10/10 service and people!

Absolutely great experience. They were very honest about what did and didn't need work and how long we could go until certain repairs were needed, and even gave opinions on if those were worth it based on the age and condition of the car. Plus the people are GENUINE and the owner is very sweet. Quick to engage in small talk. They are so real and good!

I'm driving a 19+ year old Ranger. It started burning oil a couple years ago. Decision time came - junk it and buy a new one or keep it and rehab? Really didn't want to pay $35, 40, 45K or more so finally took the leap and had Cleggs rebuild the engine. Took longer than expected but in the end very happy with the results. With the engine rebuild and a bunch of other work, I'm into it less than 20% of the cost of a new one. I love my truck!

Dishonest, unorganized, pretty much the worst experience I've had with any other business. First they tried to charge me for services I didn't ask for, I had to get them to take it off of the invoice. Paid around 4k in costs that I had to have done again at another shop. They seem nice but it's a show.

Took my tahoe to this place for a diagnostic and they had it for a week and a half then charged me 400+ dollars to tell me I needed a 7k dollar lifter job. 2 days later with the help of chat gpt of all the stupid things I diagnostic it myself and only needed 500 bucks in catalytic converter. Wouldn't let my enemy take a care here. The office guy I delt with acted like he had no clue about anything going on in there.

Had my control arms redone and they work great. My biggest issue is that my ABS wiring harness had its clips broken off so the lines were zip tied rather than putting the right clips in... The wire for my abs sensors rubbed on the inside of my tire and ruined the sheath on the wiring. Now it's grounding out and my ABS light kicks on and off.
