Dave and his crew at Westside Auto Repair are the most dependable and professional auto repair shop in the greater Utah county area. They worked til they fixed the issue and even went out of their way to contact the Dodge dealership when they needed a part. I've taken my truck to many different shops but Dave has mine, and my friends and families business for life!

My Lincoln wouldn't start and my close by mechanic said he thought the timing chain had hoped the sprocket. That meant with this engine it was ruined. He suggested to take it to Dave at Westside. I towed it down and replacing the engine would cost $3K plus. I went home and cried in my beer, even though i don't drink. A couple of hours later, Dave called to tell me that it was just my battery not having enough amperage to start. He could have waited a week, steam cleaned the engine and charged me for a new one. Even though his pricing is fair, I don't go to Westside to save money, I go because I know that Dave is a man of integrity and will always be true. He's an amazing mechanic, too! Mike Karr

Dave is a great guy. My husband and I bought a Jeep 3 months ago and have already had 2 major repairs on it. The dealer of course won't do a thing about it. We walked in to Westside, our 4th mechanic, just to get another quote. Of course not purposefully, we were just a few minutes before they closed, but Dave was willing, honest, and helpful. He stayed and looked over some options with us and actually sent us out the door because "he would rather not spend our money" on a fix that wouldn't really help. If you need a mechanic I would suggest visiting Dave at Westside Auto.

We had such a good experience here. Our car broke down nearby and we had it towed here because it was close and I'm so grateful this is where we ended up. Dave is so friendly and worked with us to find a budget friendly option to fix our car. He even spent extra time to look for multiple options for parts for us. We don't live close but I will still go back here for future repairs because I know we'll be taken care of.

I have come multiple times, but only had work done recently. The previous times, they let me know the issues should be covered by warranty- saving me tons of money! So this time I was grateful to give them business. We had our van towed there, thinking it was something huge. They quickly diagnosed the problem and reassured us it was something much smaller. They fixed the problem quickly and for a very reasonable price! The customer service was fantastic as EVERYONE we interacted with was exceptional, knowledgeable, and kind. Dave is fair and honest. When I hand him my keys And he says he will check on an issue I don't think twice about it. If it needs to be done go fix it right if it doesn't he won't do unnecessary work and charge me unnecessarily. I typically don't even ask what it costs cuz I'm confident he is going to be fair and honest every time and I don't think you and ask anything more from a mechanic. I really appreciate him.

I rented a Uhaul from this place and the experience was pretty terrible. I had to give them the same information in person that I gave over the phone and had already updated on the app. It was very redundant and took a ton of time making me miss a meeting. Then, I drive out of the lot and gas light turns on. So I had to spend even more time filling the thing up right as I got it. Don’t you guys charge back the uhaul customer if they don’t fill it up when dropping off? If so, then why am I spending an additional $171 to fill it up the second I get it?

I came to this shop to get my car fixed after it was recommended by a friend. I usually freak out when it comes to car problems since I’m not very knowledgeable, but I found these guys to be honest and fast. I’ve brought in my very old car a couple of times now, and even though I don’t know how much longer it’ll last, I’m glad I trusted them with the repairs. The lady at the front desk is also really nice and knowledgeable. Overall, these guys are great. 10/10 recommend.

Came in here for work on various vehicles. Dave (owner) is a great guy and works to make sure everything was done right. They saved me thousands off of what the dealership wanted to charge. They do everything from state emissions testing, to oil changes, trans service, brake jobs to complicated engine swaps, transmission swaps. I have recommended them many times and everyone I sent to them returned happy and felt well taken care of. We will definitely be back!
