I had a terrible experience with this auto shop due to their lack of communication and prioritization. It took them 3 weeks to give me a diagnosis, even though I had already told them what the issue could be. During that time, I had to call them multiple times just to get any updates. It was clear my car wasn’t a priority because they weren’t working on it until I told them to. At one point, they claimed they were waiting for my approval to install a battery, but they never even called me to ask for approval in the first place. After finally finding the part they needed (which took a couple weeks), they gave me an estimated turnaround of 2 weeks, but it ended up taking 3 weeks. On top of that, they didn’t know the ECM had to be programmed or how to do it. They called in a technician from some where else, assuring me it would only take a day, but later blamed the technician, calling him unreliable. After more delays, they had to find someone else to program the ECM. It became clear they didn’t know what they were doing but still took on the project, wasting my time in the process. While the quote they provided wasn’t bad, the poor communication, delays, lack of urgency, and knowledge made this experience a nightmare. If you want your car treated like a priority, avoid this shop.

They got me in and out on the same day for my Mercedes' regular and auxiliary batteries. Very fairly priced services and friendly/knowledgeable staff. Parking lot is jammed up with a lot of vehicles, so that is the only complaint. Definitely recommend!!

I did something dumb, and Autobahn fixed it. After we left, a warning notification came up on the car and when I called them, they came to my house to take care of the problem. It was a simple fix, and they could have told me to bring it back and they came to me. Seriously the best customer service I have ever had with a repair shop, top notch, 10 out of 10, 5 stars, best place ever!

Taylor did incredible work. I (a nitpick and a worrywart) hit him with every little worry and bother I could think of, and he tackled everything like itbwas nothing! I drive a 90s BMW, which is a lot to handle for any shop—not for Taylor! Truly a god among men. This was no small job, either! A complete suspension replacement, cooling replacement, power steering work, and more!! Seriously cannot recommend these guys enough. It took me a lot of years living in Utah to find a shop this good, but this is truly the greatest place around!

The customer service is always top notch, and I highly recommend them. My Experience: I’ve brought my Q5 in a couple of times. It was making a noise when driving that was misdiagnosed at another shop and couldn’t fix it. The people at Autobahn identified it quickly (came on a test drive to have me point it out), fixed it, and then when I came the actual mechanic had me take it for a drive with him to make sure I was satisfied. The price was a bit more than I was expecting to be honest, but from this experience I learned I get what I pay for. Cheaper shops couldn’t identify or fix it, yet I still had to pay obviously. I will always bring it here and avoid having to pay twice, which will actually save me money in the future.

These folks at this shop are top tier. I bought a car up the road from them in Midvale, (THG, steer clear of them, long review posted on their review page) and a few miles outside the dealer I got an EPC light, so I pulled in here to see if they could help. They immediately worked me in, read my codes, and doled out great advice on what to do moving forwards. 10/10 would recommend them, such kind, skilled, and attentive employees.

Working with Autobahn was awesome. I was visiting from out-of-state. My engine light came on and I took my car to the dealer. It was the worst car maintenance experience I have ever had. I did not feel comfortable having them fix the many issues they said needed to be taken care of. One being the air conditioner which worked when I went in, and did not work when I left. A mechanic recommended Autobahn. Family members take their cars there as well. I had a tight time frame. I needed to drive the car back to California shortly for work the following day. Autobahn got me in within two days, finished the work--which involved a number of issues--by the next day, treated me kindly and quickly, gave me correct timelines and I was able to drive home safely and confidently, with a cost was one-half of what the dealer was going to charge me. I can't say enough about all aspects of working with them.

5-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • BMW specialized & certified mechanics! • This is the only shop in Utah county I recommend for anyone owning a BMW or high end import vehicle. • Their mechanics are 100% professional, top-notch, and literally guarantee all engine repairs for 1-year. • They are completely honest and do not try to overcharge or up-sale as I feel 80% of all mechanic shops sadly do now. • The customer service is absolutely amazing. • They will diagnostics any issues and provide a full explanations of all problems and provide a total repair cost $$ before doing any work. • If you gone to any other mechanic shop especially if you own a BMW, stop 🛑 and go to Autobahn Service Center the next time you’re in need of anything for your vehicle.

These guys know VWs and are super honest. They’re worth traveling to from Salt Lake. I had an issue with the DPF light that kept coming back on in my diesel Jetta. It’s the kind of thing that potentially needs lots of troubleshooting and I didn’t want to get taken advantage of. I talked to a bunch of mechanics who didn’t even know what the dpf light was. Even though it’s far away from me, a friend recommended autobahn, so I tried them. They knew exactly what I was talking about and had ideas as to what the issue might be right off the bat. They were super honest and even generous with the time they put into identifying the problem and fixing it. They called me before doing work to let me know what their plan was and how much it would cost. When stuff took longer than they anticipated, they still honored the price they quoted me. No bonus surprise charges. Super impressed.
