BEYOND GREAT! If I could rate them ten stars I would. Chris is not only affordable, he's fast, he's good, and best of all, he's shockingly honest. Half the time he won't even let me pay for the work. Hilltop auto is the best. I went by their store because I had a crazy noise while driving. We thought it was a CV joint or an axle. They quoted us a pretty cheap price (around $175), looked at the car, said there wasn’t a problem with those parts and my lug nuts were loose on the driver side. Turns out, Big-O tire, who had replaced the tires 1 month ago, hadn’t tightened those up. Hilltop did it free of charge. These are good people. Couldn’t recommend them more.

CHRIS IS AN HONEST MECHANIC!!! That should say it all. I have no personal connection to him and feel extremely lucky to have even found Hilltop Auto. They have saved me thousands of dollars by being honest with me about car problems. Do not have your car fixed by anyone unless Chris has looked at it first! I have had two separate occasions where other mechanics have told me something was wrong with my car and it would cost thousands of dollars to fix. On one occasion, he found the real problem and it only cost a couple hundred dollars to fix instead of a rebuilt engine for $5,000. On another occasion, I had a few issues that would cost $1,000 to fix by one mechanic. I had Chris check it out and he said one thing was not even an issue and the other thing would cost $400 less than what the other mechanic would fix it for. The "diagnostic fee" from the other mechanic was more than what Chris fixed the problem for. He didn't even charge me to look at my car. I live kind of far away but it is well worth the drive to know that Hilltop Auto is honest!!!

I first went to these guys when a different place quoted me about $1000 to get my car to pass safety and emissions. I was recommended hilltop by my brother and the cost was less than half of that, as they worked with me until I found a discontinued part for my old jeep suspension saving me hundreds of dollars. Since then I've been coming here for years now, and the service has been nothing but great! If you want a local mechanic who will shoot you straight and isn't trying to run a business off of dishonest upselling, these are your guys.

I had a great experience with these guys. Note that Google has them listed as auto parts, but they do repairs too. Yesterday, there was a loud whining noise coming from an air vent in my dash. Before visiting Hilltop, I had taken my car to a Jeep dealer, and they tried to push buying an extended warranty before even listening to the noise. So I left them and came across Hilltop. Hilltop quickly determined the problem and fixed it at a very reasonable price. Fantastic service.

They are so great! Good solid mechanic. Very helpful and reasonably priced. They helped me fixing some things in my car a couple times for completely free! SO nice of them. They can be busy but they work fast, and they are honest and won't make you fix things you don't really need. I am always so worried about my car and I pay attention to details, but they always would tell me what things not to worry about and such.

They care about their customers and do an amazing job. They don’t charge an arm and a leg, but just are honest and I have never had any problems with them and don’t think I ever will. My car broke down and I had to get my car fixed quick because I live out of town. The tow truck driver called his dad and he recommended here. I called to get an estimate and was shocked at how cheap it was going to be, so I brought it in. To my surprise they stuck to their word on the pricing AND had it done within 24 hours.
