Discount Tire just lost a customer! Horrible customer service at ANY location! Always long wait time! At this point it seems like long wait time is the concept of Discount Tire. Whether it’s empty or busy there is only one person in charge. There are 3 counters and I’ve barely seen most of them being used! There’s always a guy trying to reach out Jesus on the phone; that’s my only explanation because he’s dialing the number over and over a million times and does absolutely nothing while people are waiting. I’ve seen it many times. I’m very familiar with cars and tires and I just want to hand them the keys and leave. I don’t need a lecture on how good wiper blades and straight alignment will keep me safer on the road. Pricing is not too bad, but it’s not the cheapest. You would expect it to be better than a tiny tire shop, but my local shop is doing excellent quality for half the price. I’m ready to pay more for good work, but these guys actually don’t know what they’re doing! Not only they’ve broken my car in the past, they can’t even perform a normal tire balance! I’ve taken my vehicle to them 3 times and the new tire that was put in it still shakes like a washing machine. Brand new tire and a rim that has 10,000 miles in perfect shape. Oh, and wheel alignment takes 2 hours. Hand me a couple wrenches and I will get it done in 20 minutes max! It’s not rocket science, it’s extremely simple! I’ve given this company many chances, this was my last one. I own a car dealership and I could be a very good customer for them, but I value my time too much to deal with this crap. As a business owner my eye starts twitching when I see such poor service and quality, I don’t know how people still go to this place.

Worst service I have ever received from any auto shop, even after spending over a grand on tires on my van and thousands of dollars on other vehicles in the past. I brought in my Van to get new tires put on. They put two new tires on the rear of the van and rotated my old rear tires to the front and then did an alignment for me. After I left my tire air pressure sensor was on, which it wasn’t on before putting on the tires. So, I took it back and they said the front tire sensors have a low battery and need replaced, so I paid more money and got them replaced, but it still didn’t work. They told me to drive it a few days and it will go away, of course it didn’t. So, I brought it back and they spent forever looking at it only to tell me they don’t know why it is still on and that I need to take it somewhere else as they are not competent enough to fix the problem they admittedly caused. This blew me away, they took no responsibility for their mistake, even after admitting it happened after they worked on the car. Now I have to go find a auto shop to fix their work, after spending hours and hundreds of dollars at their shop, so frustrating and exhausting. I can’t believe they treat loyal customers who have bought literally thousands of dollars in tires from them this way, sad. So, what I learned is that their technicians are amateurs posing as professionals and they do not care about their customers once you paid them the money. So, do yourself a favor and take your car to Les Schwab Tire across the street, hopefully there you find a professional, can’t say for sure that you will, but it can’t be worse than Discount Tire. At least that is the very advice they gave me, “we can’t fix it and don’t know what the problem is, you’ll have to try somewhere else.”

If any business deserves a 5-star review, it's Discount Tire. Despite being a loyal customer for many years, I realized I hadn't shared my experience until now. Throughout the years, Discount Tire has consistently provided me with remarkable service. In 2009, when my 1994 Honda Accord needed a new tire, and finances were tight, the team at Discount Tire went above and beyond. Upon inspecting my tire, they discovered damage to the rim, making a new tire impossible without a replacement rim. Concerned about the cost, I was pleasantly surprised when the manager informed me they had a single 1994 Honda Accord rim sitting on their shelf, unused for years, and offered it to me for free. This is just one example of the many positive experiences I've had with Discount Tires. Recently, when I returned for new tires, the exceptional service remained consistent. The staff's outstanding customer service, honesty, and courtesy have always made my visits pleasant. Thank you, Discount Tires, for the many years of reliable and fantastic service!

I am deeply frustrated and disappointed with the service I received at your location. I will not be returning and would advise others to avoid this establishment. The level of unprofessionalism and lack customer care was unacceptable. I am now out $1,175, and my tire remains flat. Here is a summary of the issues: 1. **Service and Charges**: I initially paid $900 for two tires and three wiper blades. However, only one tire was replaced, and the wiper blades were never installed. 2. **Property Damage**: During the tire replacement process, the staff caused $275 worth of damage to my property, including the stripping of my lug nut lock. 3. **Unresolved Issues**: Despite coming in for one flat tire, I was advised to replace both back tires and all wiper blades, the work was not completed as promised. The tire that was supposed to be replaced remains flat, and none of the wiper blades were installed. 4. **Aggressive Handling**: The mechanics handled my tires aggressively, deflated before getting the lug nut locks off, and threw the valve stem caps into the road. 5. **Poor Communication**: After the staff damaged my lug nut lock, the staff told me to get it repaired elsewhere at my own expense, which cost an additional $100. After unsuccessfully removing the lug nut, the manager requested me to go to a 3rd party mechanic to get it removed and stated this would be covered by Discount Tire, but it was not. This costed me another $175 6. **Store Hours and Accessibility**: I returned the next day to have the work completed, as the store manager communicated, only to find the store closed 4 hours before the stated closing time. There has been no communication from the management regarding this. 7. **Inconvenience in personal life** I am now down $1175 and my tire is still flat. The store is closed on Sunday and I have work on Monday that I will now have to Uber to. This entire situation should've been handled differently. The staff should've immediately stopped attempting to remove the lug nut after establishing it as too tight and might cause damage. They then should've refunded me for the incomplete work and sent me on my way to someone more qualified for the job. Given the situation, I am seeking immediate reimbursement for: - The unfinished work (including the tire replacement and wiper blades) - The property damage or replacement - The additional cost of repairs - Transportation expenses incurred due to the incomplete service. (Uber rides) This experience has been extremely frustrating, and I expect a prompt resolution.

Thieves. They told me my tire could absolutely not be repaired. They wanted to charge me $400 to replace a basically new tire. I went down the road and had the tire repaired in under an hour at Rocky’s, an honest shop. Would you say Discount Tire was dishonest or incompetent? Because it’s one or the other.

Great center with fantastic employees. Brought 3 cars here to have summer tires swapped for winter ones. Brandon, the store manager could not have been more accommodating. Friendly and knowledgeable. Worked with Josh as well and just like Brandon, he was excellent. I had appointments scheduled for all 3 cars and each appointment was right on time. I don't know the other guys who actually did the work on the cars, but everyone at this location is superb.

I took my car in to get my rear tires replaced because the tread was bad on one of my back tires and it needed alignment. I got there and I had to wait 15 minutes before anyone would even speak to me then they started saying how bad the tread was on my all my tires and that they all need to be replaced immediately, at this point they haven't even looked at my car yet so they are just making all this crap up about how my car is about to be "illegal" and "very unsafe" to drive if I dont replace all my tires instead of just the back two. I also asked them to do the alignment and they stated they can do it and when my car was done I asked them if they did the alignment and he said no. he then asked if I still wanted to do it but I had to refuse because I didnt have time to sit there all morning I had work. The kept trying to pressure me into getting all new tires and they wouldn't take no for an answer they kept trying to scam me after I said no multiple times. Also, I had my car looked at just days ago by a mechanic that said all the tires are fine except the back one, so he just said to replace the back two. HORRIBLE SHOP!! NEVER COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA WASTE YOUR TIME WITH IDIOTS THAT WONT LISTEN TO YOU AND WONT DO THE THINGS YOU ASK THEM TO DO!

If they weren’t helpful and attentive to my bitching about the noise coming from my right passenger wheel well I probably wouldn’t have bothered having the alignment done. Easy to pay for services when you feel like they care. Right rear wheel has been bleeding air more than any other since I bought the car, it was also way out of line. Well done

The manager Brandon is great to work with and cares about making sure you're taken care of. I wish I caught everyone else's name too because I was really impressed with how seriously all these guys take their work. The gentleman who did my alignment put in a lot of work making sure it came out perfect, and I know that wasn't easy on my truck. I wouldn't even bother looking elsewhere next time after how good of an experience I had with the people who work here.

I came in earlier in the day and had them take a look and schedule an appointment for later when I had more time. They told me they would have me in and out in 20 minutes. It took them 45 minutes before they even started working on my car and well over an hour and a half all together. They had me pay before they did any work which meant I couldn't leave when I realized they were taking forever and it caused me to miss an important appointment. Apparently appointments don't mean anything to them, so don't go here and don't pay before they start working!

Brandon and his crew at State St Orem give great service! I originally went to their competitor and felt the employee was trying to have me buy their most expensive tires. Never felt that from Discount Tire or that they were trying to up sell me. In fact the tires I purchased from them were much less expensive and the best price I found. The workers were very friendly & professional, even the restroom was impressive/super clean!

In December 2025, we visited Discount Tire on South State Street in Orem, Utah. One of my car tires had 3 nails stuck in it and needed to be replaced. Due to the Christmas holidays, Discount Tire had many customers with tire needs, and they were able to handle and process the large volume of customers. We are satisfied with the new tires that we had installed at Discount Tire, and we will be returning there for our ongoing future tire needs.
