I came to this place of business earlier in the year and got work done. I was pleased! I called back after I had trouble with the vehicle, and the price of the work LITERALLY DOUBLED!! I was appalled! I THOUGHT I had found a good place with good work, nice employees,and reasonable prices. Boy was I wrong... I'm taking my truck elsewhere.

Wish i could give 0 stars Bill told me to bring in my vehicle to change the fuel filter on a 1989. It was rusted on and i couldnt get it off. After 6 days of having my car he said GM didnt make the fuel line anymore and i should just buy a different car. Had to tow it away at my expense. Car x did all the work a week later for 600 dollars. So hard to find a good mechanic but this guy isnt it.

I was away from home on active duty in the Army and my high school daughter had a car problem that I would normally figure out and deal with. She took her car to Bill's and they did a great job repairing her car at a very fair price. I actually thought the car was probably done (it's an older, high-mileage kid car). But they got it back up and running like a champ and I couldn't be happier with the quality of work or the price. -Sean

So: Camber and caster will cause your vehicle to pull if they're uneven, but will cause little tire wear, while toe in won't cause your vehicle to pull, but can cause extremely fast tire wear. This is why your vehicle can pull and not wear out tires, or it can drive perfectly straight and destroy them in a hurry! They wanted me to change upper control arm for 600 . I asked is it loose or why angrily he said I can’t set just the toe . It’s not true. Either they need more ethics or knowledge.35 dollars part 1.5 hours 600 dollars. You figure it out.

Excellent service, a rarity these days! I needed my vehicle back before the weekend and they pushed to get it done for me. Take your vehicle to a chain place and get an unpredictable result. Take it to Bill’s and know that ALL the parameters will be gone over throughly and your vehicle will track perfectly straight down the road. All my alignments will be done here from now on!

I came to this shop to support local businesses in my area. I called and got an appointment for an alignment. When I arrived Bill said "they" were running alittle bit behind and hour after hour he kept telling me they were just about to pull my car in and get it done. Well.....2 1/2hrs later they finally did. I did not appreciate Bill leading me on. Maybe I caught them on a bad day IDK but make sure and ask how long your work is going to take if your going to wait and hold them to it. After the alignment I noticed on my recipet that there were some problems with a strut mount and Bill did not discuss anything with me having me sign and pay, that just didn't seem to transparent to me. Everything else about the place was decent.

I love going to Bill. He's fair, and he tells it to you straight. He doesn't tack on this little charges or try to sell you on things. He tells you what needs fixed and by when. Especially as a female owning a car, he's never taken advantage of that, as some others would attempt to pull a fast one on me. He's really great. Been going to him for about 4-5 years now.

Brought my car in for an alignment. I thought I needed both the front end and rear end aligned based on the tire wear and pulling to one side on my car but after measuring the specs it turned out I only needed the front end aligned. However after the alignment the car still pulled to one side. Bill blamed the tires. I rotated them myself and found that it still pulled to the same side. Upon further inspection I found that one of my struts was blown. Thankfully it was covered under warranty by Tire Central and Service of College Park because they had previously replaced it. They replaced the strut under warranty and fixed the alignment issue as well by installing an adjustment kit free of charge. Pros: 1. I've read some reviews where Bill's goes way over estimates but from my experience it doesn't seem like he does unnecessary things to rip you off. I thought I needed a 4 wheel alignment but they only did the front 2. Cons: 1. The road into the shop needs work. 2. Asked for but not receive a print out of the alignment specs before and after. Please see the picture of the one I got from Tire Central and Service. 3. Based on the alignment specs after I got the struts replaced it seems like they were out of spec after the alignment from Bill's. However keep in mind that replacement of suspension components can alter the alignment. Problem is the alignment was out of spec on the side of the strut that was not blown. I would've expected the side that had the blown strut to be out of spec. 4. Bill missed the blown strut that I ended up diagnosing myself.

I took my Subaru Forester in for A/C work. They ran the car for 30min and didn't find any issue. They called me and asked if I wanted an oil change and I agreed. When I came back to pick up the car they told me I had a transmission problem and there was nothing they could do. I had to have the car towed to a transmission shop and the mechanic told me the transmission drain plug had recently been removed and some trans fluid had leaked out. They filled it back up and that solved the problem. This drain plug is located close to the oil pan. I went back to Bill's and asked if they could have made this mistake while changing the oil. The guy couldn't look me in the eye and denied everything very defensively. I couldn't outright accuse him but it seemed highly likely he just made a mistake and didn't want to own up to it. Think twice before having your car serviced here.

Got all new tires and a laser accurate alignement. Front desk walked me through the whole process from start to finish. Ordered tires for me and let me know when they arrived. The communication and quotes costs were impeccable. I will never go anywhere else for my tires or Alignment. This place is called Bill's Alignment for a reason. If you take your car anywhere else you are nuts.

I've only been there once but was referred by a friend. They didn't try to up charge me. They actually saved me money. I asked for something that wasn't necessarily required that I thought was needed due to the mileage I was at. They explained throughly. I was also given advice that if any other mechanic tries to talk me into this, there are incorrect and explained why. There are not many places that will try to save you money. The person who referred me couldn't speak enough about their great service. They won me over on the first service.

Impressed with their integrity, honesty, and helpfulness! I was in the area from out of town looking at a used minivan. It didn't drive straight so I wanted to know if there were damaged parts or just needed an alignment. Bill put the van in quickly on zero notice. He said basic alignment / suspension check for $40, full check for $80. I said give it the full check. They came back with a few specific minor issues but overall good vehicle, they said. Then he charged me way under the quoted price. If lived nearby I definitely would try them out for more service!

They will absolutely lie about what's going on with your car to try and get more money from you. Took my car to get a second and third opinion because what they said didn't match my maintenance records, only to have it confirmed the staff here were lying and half of what they said I needed i actually didn't.
