A good value. PROS: Good price: $71/hr for cash: half of Cummins. Friendly. Quick turn-around. Good communication before and during service. Several RV spots available with 30A electric. Tried to save me money by not replacing oil and filter for generator, which had two years on them but low hours. CONS: Ten gallons of diesel fuel spewed all over the engine 250 miles after the diesel secondary fuel filter was replaced. There was a split in the fuel filter due to Bob’s mechanic’s incompetence. This resulted in a breakdown on the highway, dirtied the whole engine compartment, was smoking and got diesel fuel all over the towed car and could have resulted in a fire. Bob’s management gave $100 back, but Bob’s reputation is tarnished. Poor signage. Trash around camping spot. No greeting when we arrived. Could not get correct grease to use in our Rockwell air brakes. Brakes need Bentonite Clay-based grease but Steve the foreman could not determine what they use. Greasing was only done to the suspension and drive shaft. The coolant was filled one gallon low and transmission ATF was filled 3 qts low.

Not many skilled cat motor guys out there. Great place to get your oil change and any work done. The owners live on the property so they make sure that you get the service that you pay for.

Good Service for Oil and grease but didnt have the ability to communicate with the diagnostic port on an older (2001) Cummins ISL 8.9 blamed it on both my Comm ports being bad so went up the road to 3:10 Diesel and they had the appropriate software version to talk to the ECM.

My husband has been taking his truck to Bob's for over 20 yrs. We used to take it there in town to Peterbuilt or Rush truck shop when Bob worked there. Than we had an issue with the truck and insisted that he work on it. Only to find out he had started his own business and no longer worked there, and on the hunt we were to find him and sure enough back than Yuma was so small you could find anyone. We now reside in Buckeye, Az and my husband still takes the truck to Bob's for repairs. They are excellent in communication and very friendly and do a good job. People may say you can easily go to Phx. Yes I agree, but in reality Bob is very familiar with the truck and is the only one who has ever done all major repairs. Just recently reinstalled all wiring and harnesses to the truck.. Highly recommend him..

Bob and his wife/assistant run a knowledgeable and successful business. Bob diagnosed the problem with our Cat diesel engine -- a feat that three other large shops couldn't do, even though they charged us a lot of money. Bob and his wife limit their work to one customer at a time. He let us stay in our motorhome while it was in his large shop, even overnight. When we test drove our rig afterwards, it ran strong and quiet, and it had good acceleration. We highly recommend Bob's Diesel outside Yuma, AZ.

Brought my international tow truck in for a low oil pressure no start issue. After 6 months of frustration with these people and threatening to tow the truck out of there, they got it running. Only enough to get about 20 miles down the road where I lost all power due to no oil pressure. I returned to the shop and they gave me $1500 back and made me sign something that stated they are not liable or responsible for anything. I.went back the truck the following day to drop the oil pan, only to find they didnt even connect the oil pick up tube. In addition the electrical work I had them do all had to be redone because the crimping came loose. The work was terrible, service was non existent and the mechanic working on my truck worked like he was on drugs. The oil supply line to my turbo was not even tight and sprayed oil all over the place. I would say that this was pretty much done intentionally. I would never recomend this shop to anyone.
