My first experience was great. The price he quoted was the price I paid. Then I had him switch out an intoxalock system out of one SUV into another one that I recently bought. He quoted a price of $250.00. When my husband paid, it was $347.00!!! Very disappointing to be lied to. UPDATE: Brad called me this afternoon to clear up the issue of being overcharged. He spoke with the Intoxalock agent and found out that the agent told Brad that the device was going into a 2015 not a 2018. That was the reason for the increase. Unfortunately, you don't deal directly with the installer when making arrangements and appointments when using Intoxalock. Brad and I both apologized and learned a lesson. Thanks for being honorable.

Honest and reliable shop. I was told my vehicle was done but it wasn’t driving quite right so they kept it another day and made sure it was perfect. They even gave me a ride home about 30 minutes away and made sure I was taken care of. I was not charged for any additional work. I would 10/10 recommend.

My family has been going to Brad for many years. Brad's team has done every sort of repair you can imagine for us, from engine and transmission rebuilds, to clutches, to windows, to body work and paint, minor & major, and we have bought cars from Brad too. I can say without a doubt that Brad is one of the few business owners who puts customer service first. They have never failed to do the job right or go beyond expectation, even with the little things. Seriously the best shop experience I've ever had! These guys not only do auto body work but also full mechanical. I have been a customer since my first wrecked vehicle in 2006 and will continue to use them for my vehicle needs. Brad's Collision has worked on my cars numerous times throughout the years. Each time Brad and his staff have done an excellent job of taking care of my car and working with insurance company. They even gave me a ride back home while I left my car at the shop for a couple days. They also cleaned the inside and washed the outside for free! I would highly recommend taking your car to Brad's for any minor or major wreck. They will treat you great and your car also looks great!

Brads Collision has always been the best shop to take our cars. When my twin sister and I were 16 years old we had a Ford Taurus car that had something go bad in the steering. Very expensive fix. Our parents could not help us and we needed it fixed. I had my first son and it was our only transportation to get my son to daycare so I could finish high school. Me and my sister worked part time at a grocery store and although Brad dose not accept payments he trusted us and allowed us to make payments due to our situation. Since this moment I knew Brad was a great guy and I will forever support his business. Although this situation was over 10 years ago it will forever be a story we carry on. Brad will give you honest estimates and not price gouge you. We’ve taken our cars here for everything. Oil change, car accident body repairs, engine repairs. You name it. Brads Collision is the best place to go! Recently my husband has had an on going leak in his truck. We finally had a day off of work and took it in to be seen. They found 3 leaks and he explained what really needed fixed and what could wait if we couldn’t afford everything at one time. They fixed the major leak same day and got us some estimates to come back for the smaller leaks. Thank you to Brad and to all of your employees!

I have never had a need for a collision center until recently. Brad's has been in business for as long as I can remember. I showed up right before closing, met Brad who gave me a bid on the spot. I immediately had a sense that he was trust worthy, and I was confident he could do what he promised. He got my car in and taken care of the next day and you couldn't tell it was ever damaged. My grandfather was an auto body man for his entire career and I felt that Brad would be able to deliver as my grandpa would have. Thank you to Brad and his team for excellent service, a reasonable cost, and for being reliable and delivering a wonderful repair.

Brought my vehicle in with some front end damage. Insurance wasn’t the best at communicating but the crew at Brads made sure they paid out what was needed to properly fix my vehicle. Once my vehicle was finished I was surprised to see that they took the time to clean my car up, they even defogged my headlights!

My car door suddenly stopped closing all the way. I assumed the worst after talking to another shop and they didn't want to touch it. However, today I went to drop it off at Brad's and Brad (I think it was him) took a look and just fixed it for me for no charge. I couldn't be happier! I will definitely be looking here for future service needs. I couldn't give a 5 star, only because the gal I talked to on the phone was super nice, but when I got there, nobody was at the desk and I had to call again to get somebody to talk to me. I get it, they're busy, but just ask me what I need when you walk by me and you'll get 5 stars. ;)

My car looks brand new! Brad’s repaired hail damage on my car. Lots of dents all around the car. Hood needed repainted. It looks great! No signs that the car had ever been damaged. They even detailed the interior of my car! Everyone I spoke to at the shop was friendly and helpful. The work was done in the time frame I expected, and for the price I expected. Couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend this business.

Brad's did an outstanding job on my 96 Impala SS. It's black which is already unforgiving as far as showing ever imperfection, but I also have a fiberglass hood that's been on the car since the 90's. It came out flawless smooth as glass, and deep as a puddle of ink. I've had some good and very bad experiences with bodyshops in the Des Moines and Ames area, and can say that I've definitely found my guy. If you want it done right and for it to last check them out.

They had my car for almost 2 months then charged me double the original quote then when I got it back it looked like they didn't do anything. They said bring it back and we'll take care of it. I take it back and they had it almost another 2 weeks. They never once called me about my car I had to go there or call to check status. Will never do business with them again.

03/29/22 Brad's Collision/Brad's Used Cars OK, Waited for this review. 2008 GMC 3500HD rebuilt(04/21) Allison 6spd Transmission PERFECT! 2008 GMC 3500HD Brand New Crate motor(6.6 Duramax) installed December of 2021 2nd truck needed a transmission. already had Brad rebuild one for the 97 Chevy now he's rebuilt one for my F-250 Super Duty. Quality work does not cost its saves and I know that the work that's done by Brad's Collision is top-shelf excellent work. I'm very hard on my equipment but I know when I bring it here it'll be fixed and fixed right
