★☆☆☆☆ If you do not speak Chinese/mandarin, don’t bother going here. They cannot communicate in English at all! The mechanic approached me as soon as I pulled up while smoking a cigarette. He was literally smoking in my face and never stopped even though I was coughing so much I could barely speak (i have asthma and I’m allergic to cigarettes). I told him I was there for a state inspection and he simply dismissed me saying something along the lines of “windows dark. Go somewhere else.” The whole encounter was just weird and unsettling. Given his behavior, i wouldn’t trust him anywhere near my car, so, I drove off. Sketchy neighborhood too.

★☆☆☆☆ Came to get state inspection. Waited patiently while the one guy there ignored me standing there and rearranged other cars. After about 10 minutes I tried to ask him whether he could do the inspection and he just rudely waived me away with a flick of the hand. Will not be coming back.

★☆☆☆☆ They did ok with the inspection which went smoothly — but I made the mistake of trying to get a small repair done while there (replacing a broken back door handle - I had the parts with me). Communication was challenging (I don’t speak Chinese) and while the mechanic spent a long time trying to do the job he clearly was over his head. After two hours I left with a bad, unacceptable cobbled-together solution and was just glad to get out of there with a car door that stays shut - the handle still doesn’t work so it was a total waste of time. I can’t imagination them doing a critical repair. Be forewarned - what you see is what you get - maybe ok to change a tire or give you a jump start - other than that I’d look elsewhere.
