I had been taking my car here for a while and it recently broke down AGAIN. The same issue that they had fixed before, so I take it back because the work was still supposedly under warranty and my car was running worse when they were done than when I brought it in. During the conversation the mechanic suggested I take my car to the Honda dealership because he was trying to get me to pay for a new computer for my car. Well I took my car to Honda and paid Honda to do a diagnostic and the mechanic informed me that not only had they not done the work correct they put the wrong parts in my car. When I took the information back to Broadway the owner tried to deny my refund for the work that was done literally 2 days before the Honda dealership fixed it. He literally tried to offer me $70 for the $300 I paid for them to fix my car. After proving his mechanic lies about work he did and him trying to negotiate about my refund I had to threaten to take him to court to get my money back. Do not trust them I also paid for an oil change and because of the other issue took my car to another place to have the oil checked when they informed me that the oil in my car could not have possibly been changed in the last couple months let alone last week the oil was old. They are not honest or trustworthy....I signed saying you gave me money everything was ok with my car because somebody else fixed it. Also from that tuneup yall had to refix my car 3 times. And apparently its possible because I have the proof that you did.

I went to get my oil changed, tires rotated/filled and my state inspection done… They didn’t rotate or fill my tires yet they charged me for it.The back right tire said low tire pressure when I got there.. the same tire said low tire pressure when I left. Had they truly rotated tires and not filled them with air, it shouldn't have said the same tire had low tire pressure. I went back and expressed my concern and he said to fix the issue they filled my tires to “45-50” which is too much air for my tires. But thankfully they LIED because my tire pressure gage was saying 32-33 when I left. But it was the fact that they said that to blow me off. They seemed unconcerned when I mentioned the lack of tire rotation. I do not recommend going back there. If I could, I would give 0 stars. *edit - it’s 10/28/24 and I was notified by my apartment complex that my car has slowly been leaking oil. That’s never been an issue until I went here. I took it to another car shop and found out that this place didn’t tighten the oil cap and it was sticking out. Yet another example of their poor service.

Went to auto zone to make sure of the code. It again my thermostat bought part another a year ago. Engine light came back on went to theses people I trust flushed my radiator new fluid and it my thermostat on. Took about 2 hours so greatful for these mechanics. Always been right on it. Soi you're looking for a great repair shop this is your go to. Also reasonable priced my 2009 f150 radiator hasn't ever been ever since I bought it. These people will not rip you off. They said when flushing it was bad. Love ya

This people are not caring for you or you car. I had the worst experience with them after several years been a loyal customer the did a bad job in my pads breaks and Rotors. And after several months trying for them to fix it, the extend excuses until their warranty under their policies was expired. Just want to make money. They are dishonest.

THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!!! Imagine driving your family into Galveston and the family vehicle breaks down. Now your 6 hours away from home and stuck. One call to Broadway and they told me bring it over right away. I told them I was in a bad spot as I brought my family and a bunch of other people down for a soccer tournament. They assured me everything would be ok. 4 hours later they had me back on the road. They repaired my vehicle and got me back to being with my family. These folks were great. I read many reviews late Fri and was glad these people were open Saturday. They got me in and out. Now I'm back home and our escalade is still running top notch. Thank you Broadway for saving my trip.

We recently got our car oils changed and although we have had good experiences in the past, this will be the last time we come here. After leaving Broadway Minute Lube the car immediately starting billowing white smoke from the exhaust, after taking it back they discovered it I was overfilled. Driving off, it seemed whoever test drove the car was smoking during the 20 minute test drive, which is very frustrating considering we do not smoke, not to mention the car was filthy inside. After all of this and 2 hours gone and a car filled with cigarette smoke, they wouldn’t even discount the service claiming they fixed the issue. Really disappointed

I initially went in to have the power steering checked, which was supposed to cost $60. Since the full engine check-up was $90, I decided to go with that instead. They took longer than expected, and the quote for the power steering repair was absurdly high. When I declined the service, they immediately dropped the price by 30%, which came off as very dishonest. I asked for the engine check-up report I had paid for, and was told the person responsible had already left but would email it the next morning. It’s been over two months, and I still haven’t received anything. Very disappointing experience—I won’t be coming back.

[01.05.2025 UPDATE] Arrived back to Dallas safely and my Lexus ran perfectly. Finding myself stranded roadside north of Galveston Friday afternoon, my tow truck towed my car south back to Galveston to a closed location. PANIC. John [OWNER] seeing my distraught face in passenger seat of tow truck apparently caused alarm because he instructed driver he could help and then John and Gabby and her hubs worked for the next 24 hours to get me back on the road to Dallas. THINK 2025 NEW YEARS EVE HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND 2009 OLDER MODEL LEXUS [PARTS: WATERPUMP SENSOR THERMOSTAT ETC.] ---------‐-------------- TODAY, SUNDAY, 01.05.2025, we open our GLOWS SHELTER AHEAD OF THE UPCOMING POLAR VORTEX & many lives will be saved. You promised. You delivered. Thanks, Broadway Team. # Lifesavers!!!! [END of updated review] -----------end-------------- Where to begin 🤔? Wowed with customer service on arrival ...vehicle on tow truck and John and Gabby met me outside and reassured me all is well and they would take care of everything. Once the diagnosis was made, John graciously loaned me a smart car, so I would enjoy my time here. I had paced and paced and totally in the way! I spent the afternoon running around Galveston. Bad news? The car part delivered by parts was wrong, so didn't get car repaired as wanted. But John insisted I keep the smart car, sent me on my way, and I checked into a hotel overnight. Enjoyed a very relaxing dinner and back to hotel. Today, mechanic came to work on their closed day to ensure my repair is made so I can get back to Dallas TODAY [I volunteer in homeless shelter that is opening ahead of polar vortex] so need my car ASAP to get ahead of freeze. Because John cares about people and because his employees care about people, I will be on my way back to Dallas today, not Monday. Giant thank you for amazing humans that still care about others. Totally impressed. A few customers reassured me on arrival I was in good hands. I am eternally grateful I stumbled on this safe place to get car repaired and deal with an honest business. They charged me for a engine diagnostic, didnt do it, and then proceeded to tell me some accurate and some random things to see if I would bite or not at their explanation for why my car was acting up. Looks nice on the outside but is they overprice parts, and seem to have a lack of quality work and ethics.

I'm a full-time mechanic however I do not have an alignment machine and these guys prices and service are great. I was a few days past my 30 day alignment warranty and had just got done installing a CV axle. When I brought it in they took care of me and waved the fee for the second alignment. Would definitely recommend coming here for alignments and some other work

The guy who was doing my oil change started filling my car with oil from a massive, unlabeled tub of oil that he would first fill into an old container for 5w20 oil. Because my car needs 0w20, I repeatedly asked him if he was putting 0w20 in my car to which he just kept acting annoyed and blowing me off/essentially ignoring me. When he would respond he would just say “full synthetic” despite there being multiple types of full synthetic oils and my car specifically being designed for 0w20. Also, another guy that was simultaneously working on my car overfilled my tires by multiple psi, ignoring the label on the car door and I had to ask him about this to find out. The guy who was doing my oil also had a general disrespect for my car, leaving loose parts like caps in the engine bay while lifting it as well as smearing engine oil all over my white car’s door and my center console and other parts of the interior. When I was trying to clean the oil he left all over my car, he was passive aggressively just trying to rush me out to get another customer in. If you want any degree of standards or respect, DO NOT GO HERE.

Came in recently for a general engine diagnostic. They told me it needs things they did not even look at. So that means they do guess work. They gave me a list with overpriced parts, as in autozone sells them for about half to a third of the price the mechanic listed prices. Not to mention a things couple of things I did not need, but since minute lube is guessing what my vehicle needs instead of actually doing a diagnostic they were paid to do, I am assuming they tried to upsell me since I look young. They are very enthusiastic that the quote is only good for 30 days as well! Time to try the next mechanic.... I prefer honest work and would have paid any ammount for labor, but dishonest parts prices and making stuff up to try and take money from someone who may not know better is just wrong. Dishonest work and overcharging people with it gets bad reviews everytime.
