Browns handled an insurance claim for me. Everything from the beginning to end was top quality service. The entire staff was pleasant and easy to work with. They kept me informed and the work was excellent. I appreciated the timelines in getting my vehicle returned to me. Overall they made the experience hassle free, professional and thorough. They even provided a super clean shuttle with a really nice driver to pick me when the car was ready. Thanks for a job well done!

I went here because I hit a deer in my 2019 Ford Ranger. The poor devil totally messed up the driver's side rear door, and driver's side truck bed. They made the repair quickly and processes my insurance claim seamlessly. No back and further, chasing people down, waiting weeks for paperwork. None of that. The work was of good quality and truck was restored to pre-accident condition. While I was there I had some front end damage from 2 years prior I thought we might as well addressed (a different deer). Gared Powell was great to work with. He told me what a full repair with all new parts would cost and I told him what I had to spend. We worked out something that greatly improved the look of the front end and was within my budget. He didn't try to sell me on something I couldn't afford. He listened when I told him what my concerns were and he worked something out that was an affordable middle option. I think the truck looks very sharp after the fix. I was very pleased with my experience.... Other than hitting 2 deer... that sucked a lot.

I am uncertain if the issue is entirely Brown’s fault or the Progressive Insurance Company. Brown used non vehicle manufacturer’s parts in the repair, some previously used. I was not informed of this until after the work was completed. The replaced bumper doesn’t fit properly, the new paint has a chip and certain panels fall off with just a touch of the hand. This repair greatly diminished the value of my vehicle. Brown had my vehicle for almost a month. I couldn’t be more disappointed.

Dropped off my car for repairs which was around $8000 and very last day I found out that they put a salvage part in my car, when I refused to drive my car witha salvage wheel they told me to come back two days later Monday. It was 5 bolts to unscrew and put my wheel and bolt back on. Also they told me $50 core charge but when i went to pick up my car they said it was $160. The amount of lying is not worth it to bring my business to them and I would make sure to tell all my friends about how badly they treated us. Will never go there again.

I would not recommend Brown's Collision to anyone who is looking to have repairs done on their vehicle. I dropped my vehicle off at the beginning of February to have repairs done from when a deer hit my truck back in December. I was told the part's employees could not find my parts, so I had to find them for them. I was also told that my truck was finished but when I showed up it wasn't and then was charged to keep the rental (over $250 for 1 day) because my rental was up, which I am still fighting. Brown's did not even offer to pay for the rental, even though they screwed up. When they called me the second time to tell me it was done, I showed up and it was still not done but I was so frustrated I took it and left the rental. I had such a horrible experience and would not recommend them to anyone. The only reason I took it there, was because it was GEICO's guaranteed shop, which was the biggest mistake of my life. My truck is still not fully repaired correctly. I will have to say Pete, was as nice as he could be, and even laughed and joked about me coming to work there since I was able to find the parts within 5 minutes and their employees couldn't. Save your self some headache and go somehwere else and do not waste your time!!

Had a few issues with them calling with updates. Had to call myself to get updates. And the first time they made my brand new car look worse than it did when we took it in to get some scratches fixed. They did take it back and fix it correctly so everyone was happy in the end.

I learned about the great team at Brown Collision Center simply by ACCIDENT, actually. Glad I crashed into them. Good eggs! I think this photo really makes the shop front pop and standout from the rest, don't y'all? 😉 Hey. Don't laugh. That's the BEFORE.

Please do not use this shop to repair your car, ask your insurance if you can choose the shop where to repair your car. This is the worst shop I imagined existed. They say they will call you to give you updates on how your car is doing but they NEVER do and when you call they never answer. The time it will take to repair your car is simply absurd and they make up excuses. I took my car 2 months ago and it is still there. The delivery date was April 16th and I just received the news that my car will not be ready by the agreed date and that it would take 2 and a half more weeks because they have to order more parts, and this is not even the first time they lie to me by telling me one date and then giving me another. This has been the same thing twice. Also, my car was parked for 3 weeks without any repairs. I know that they only work 1 or 2 hours on each car a day but my car was not even moved from the same parking lot. That is negligence. So please don't take your car to this shop. There are many better shops in Charlottesville that can do a better job in much less time.

A bumper repair that was supposed to take 2 days took 3 weeks and was $1,000 over the estimate. Some of the excuses were understandable (needed to order additional parts), but the other excuses were frustrating (didn't touch our car for 3 days after dropping it off even though we were on the schedule, the tech forgot to work on it for several days mid-repair, etc.). It seems like they are simply too busy to handle the work they are taking in. The communication was also extremely poor throughout the repair process. They try to utilize an automated system for repair estimated timing, but it is often wrong and has incomplete information. Calling doesn't help much since they only return calls or answer the phone sporadically. Overall, the quality of the work is satisfactory so far (but time will tell). That is why I am giving 2 stars rather than 1 star. However, I regret not going to a different local repair shop such as Masters or Tailors that do quality work and prioritize customer service.

My father had a very bad experience at Flow Collision in Charlottesville. His car was in their shop for nearly two months, and even after all that time, they only covered the damaged area instead of actually fixing it properly. Now another repair shop has looked at the car and said they can’t fix it unless Flow Collision corrects their mistakes first. That’s unacceptable. The back of the car is still not properly aligned or repaired, and I don’t want to risk losing parts again by having it redone elsewhere. We trusted Flow with our vehicle, but they clearly did not take responsibility for a proper repair. I don’t recommend them to anyone who values their time, money, or car safety.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Do NOT go here unless you want to go back 5+ times for them to fix the work they did! This was the worst experience possible, I had my bumper replaced and my car must have been scraped/hit on their lot overnight (evident in my cracked taillight and paint) and it appeared they tried to buff it out. They tried to fix that and the paint began peeling off my bumper 3 more times. Beyond disappointed in the work. Customer service has tried to be helpful, but not returned my calls when they said they would. Still waiting to hear back about when they will be replacing my bumper AGAIN.

Very bad service. Went with USAA recommendation. Will never go back. My car was rear ended, repair was decent BUT they spray painted my rear tire, left powder residue all over interior and trunk, and the dash check engine lights were all on when I picked it up (no one walked with me to go over the repairs). I brought up the issues and was told they'd take care of it and detail the car (another day without the car). I went to pick it up and they told me they couldn't detail it because I had dyed my carpets (I've never dyed my carpets). I still have paint on tires and I had to clean the car myself. Overall, horrible service and quality of work. You've been warned. Stay away!

Originally chose Flow because i thought it was still Browns, but they were the most willing about taking my car on short notice. The length of time they had my car was frustrating at times, but I know they are short on help which i understand being that I work in a somewhat similar industry. The work that Flow did on my Ford Fusion was incredible and the car hasnt looked this good since it was new. Jorge was good at keeping me updated on the progress and went over all the repairs with me at pickup including the lifetime warranty on their repairs. Definitely recommend!

They fixed up my car as if it never happened. They were incredible and relative to the amount of work, I got it back pretty quickly. I couldn't recommend Brown Collision more. Thank you!!!

Flow Collision especially Jennifer Eubanks was very helpful in getting our claim resolved. Although our car was a total loss she worked with our insurance company to insure that they had everything that was needed to finalize claim. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would like to thank Flow Collision in general, and Amanda Easton and the technician who worked on my car in particular, for all of their help in fixing my car. I have a somewhat unusual car that is 30+ years old, which is in excellent condition. After an unfortunate incident, I went to Flow because I knew that they had an "old-school" technician who would be able to repair my car. I was not disappointed. Amanda immediately recognized the unique nature of the repair, walked me through the process of getting the work done, and kept me regularly informed throughout the process. The technician did superior work. The car looks fantastic. Again, thank you for all of your help and for all of your good work!

I would NOT recommend using Brown Collision Center. I am only writing this because Brown will not return my calls or outreach. The work that they did, took additional time. Externally everything looked fine. I also understand that plans change. However, we were not notified of this until the end of the promised day of completion. They knew for multiple days that the work would not be completed on time, but failed to notify us. They have very poor communication skills. Now to the work they did not do. Internally the car was a mess. I'm assuming they thought it was hidden and we would not notice. The AC worked prior to the collision with the deer. However, upon receiving the car back from Brown. The AC did not work. I had explained that the condenser was damaged (Bent and leaking) from day one. Brown stated to my Insurance that it was not damaged. My insurance asked me to take it back to them. I called to set that up and Brown refused to look at it. I took my car to another mechanic due to the car overheating. It was discovered that not only was the condenser damaged beyond repair. The radiator was also damaged (bent and leaking). Brackets holding the radiator in place were bent and one case not even attached to the radiator any longer. Brown had to remove the plastic cover to replace a bar directly over the condenser and radiator. There is no way to miss the damage. Either their technician was incompetent or they purposefully neglected it and replaced the cover. I have followed up with Brown via phone on two occasions, and once using their "contact us" page. I would like an explanation as to why they neglected the work and left the car unsafe to drive. My mechanic also found that the work they did was poorly done internally as well. Brackets were left off or broken. I am not sure how you could miss the damage in the attached images, but they did. The bracket my mechanic is holding was supposed to be holding the radiator in place. It was not even attached. This is what the car looked like internally after they supposedly "fixed it".

Minor repaired to be completed Jorge stated it take an hour. Dropped off @7:30 in the morning and told them I needed back by 1pm. No return calls from Jorge and now it's 12:35 and they HAVEN'T started the pair. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. The office staff is great but Jorge is TERRIBLE

I do not recommend this company. Bad estimate, poor communication, extended time to complete job. The job ended up costing $1850 more than the estimate. So the original estimate was only 53% of the final bill. This is because they took 4 days of having the car to determine a scrape on the door required a complete door replacement which took 4 additional days to order and receive. The original estimated 1 week repair took 23 calendar days. The customer rep would never return phone calls or emails. When the job started I had left voicemails and wrote an email stating that someone entered my phone number incorrectly on their records. My communications went unanswered (or unread) and I had to go there in person to get a status of the work on my car and have them correct the phone number. It was a very bad customer service experience overall.
