Brown’s was recommended to me by a friend as they had a great experience after a wreck. My car was taken to them after popping 2 tires and busting the rims. It was nothing short of swift, amazing service. Matt helped me and walked me through step-by-step of what he was doing and looking at with my car. Because I had to get new rims, instead of ordering 2 brand new ones (which were extremely pricey), Matt was kind enough to suggest buying refurbished rims. It literally saved me thousands!!! The service was done so honestly and quickly and it was very affordable. A huge thank you to Matt and the Brown’s team!!

You know, I've lived in tuscaloosa for many years now. I have had my cars here more times than I'd like to admit. But every time I come (even when I have to pay cash), they always do a great job. I really am thrilled with the professionalism and courtesy that they extend to their customers. I am anticipating picking my car up next week, since it's ready. I already saw it, and they really did do a fantastic job. I highly recommend this place.

I am torn with this review. Earlier this year I had my CR-V repaired at this facility. The work was done very good, the receptionist was nice and friendly and the adjuster that done the estimate was professional and friendly. I was very satisfied. I also paid out of pocket because it was damaged due to fault of my own. I have a Ridgeline that I needed an estimate on to see if I would pay out of pocket again, if it was over $3000, I would report it to the insurance. The receptionist was nice and friendly as I suspected she would be but it was a different adjuster doing the estimate this time. I told him what I needed but this guy wasn't as friendly as the other adjuster that sits in the office as soon as you walk in the door. He got my information, took pictures and said he would email me. He was very persistent about who my insurance company was. Now, I don't even know if I was going to report it. I needed to get the estimate to see if it was worth reporting. I told him qho my insurance company was and then he didn't seem like he wanted to really help me. Mind you, I don't have a rinky dink insurance company. I have State Farm. I have yet to receive the estimate. I am a little upset because they have done work for me before and I wanted to continue doing business with them. This go round, it seems like they don't want my business.

Browns Body Shop is excellent, responsive and exceptionally professional. For the most part I dealt with Matt W, but others were so helpful. My son is at U of A, and his car needed repair from being hit. These guys dealing with me, and the insurance company was amazing, and so easy to do from Huntsville Alabama. Time to get the damage repaired was complete in a really good time, but not rushed. The car looks great. Highly recommend Brown's, you will not be sorry. Thanks Browns Team. V/r Nick

Brown’s body shop was fixed my car the same day I brought it in for really cheap. The mechanic I met was very down to earth and professional. I will definitely be coming here again if I ever need repairs for my car…. they fixed my cracked fender in 30 minutes and didn’t overcharge me at all.

Brown's went above and beyond to not only make my necessary repairs but to also complete my car before my deadline of needing back. They did fast work but quality work! They were very upfront and honest with what I'd encounter with my insurance company too. Matt has a great personality as does Marcy! They even cleaned and vacuumed the inside so it sparkled when I pick it up. Definitely recommend the team at Brown's!

This body shop is excellent. The employees are awesome. I did not expect they would return my car that early. I was so scared to drive the rental car I got from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Tuscaloosa as the Enterprise agent scared me a lot if I do not take their additional protection plan and anything happen to their car, I would be charged a lot although I had full insurance coverage and no prior bad driving experience. I am 100% satisfied with this body shop for getting rid off the enterprise car and I would recommend it to everyone.

Browns kept my truck for 109 days for scheduled body work. I had to threaten to report it stolen. 2 years later the paint looks terrible and their bondo work is cracking and peeling. Every time I wash it I want to just vomit. Thanks Browns

Brown’s only took three days to finish my repair, which included a new bumper with sensor collaboration. I had no clue they were going to detail the inside and out. My truck has never looked so good. 10/10 would recommend. Much better experience here than I had with a shop across town.

UPDATE: I changed this to a 5 star after speaking with Robby. He reached out to me and offered to take a look at it again and get the issues resolved. He was very apologetic and made sure I was completely satisfied with the work done. Like I said before, their work is good and the people here are so kind. I can see they are making a strong effort in keeping their customers happy and working on different aspects to make their business better! Compared to other body shops in town, I would still choose Browns. Thank you! Their work is good but their communication could definitely use some work. They are nice whenever you get them on the phone but getting them on the phone has been an ongoing issue for me. My car was in their shop for about a month which is completely understandable considering the damage and with it being around the holidays (Christmas). I was told 3 separate times when my car would be ready and it wasn’t. I was told it would be ready the Friday before Christmas. It wasn’t and they didn’t open back up until the Wednesday after. I had told them my rental days would be up on that Friday and I was told that the sensors had to be reset and then it would be ready. Granted, I was told the day I got it back that the gentleman who reset the sensors was running behind. I would be more understanding if I would have at least gotten a phone call telling me this so I could’ve made other arrangements for having a vehicle over the weekend and holiday. Since getting my car back and it being in the colder months, I never turned on the cooling part of my AC, just the heat. Well since it’s been in the upper 60s some days in January, I’ve tried to turn it on. It’s not cooling properly. I know I had some of my parts replaced with my AC so I called Browns. I have now called them twice in the past 3 weeks and I haven’t heard anything. Like I said, the work was good and I understand the lengthy time for repair, I was and am just very displeased about the lack of communication.

Someone pulled out in front of me and we had an accident. A friend referred me to Browns Fleet Collision on 69 S. From the first time I called their office, to the time I picked up my car, was nothing short of spectacular! The receptionist in the office was very friendly, her estimated time of completion was accurate and Robert kept me in the loop the whole time. He was super informative of the process and explained the work done that needed done in detail. I felt so comfortable with him that I asked about my check engine light being on prior to the accident. He did the diagnostic test and fixed everything needed for a great price. It was a breath of fresh air to actually trust the mechanics and have them do the job on time, for a great price, no issues or problems with a smile!! With my hectic life, I can't tell you how much I appreciate the fantastic job they all did. Because of my wonderful experience, I honestly recommend everyone to Browns Collision and Repair.

Browns worked on my truck about 3 years ago, after noticing some issues, my wife emailed them about a year ago but never got a response. After getting in contact with them a few days ago, she met them today and without hesitation they set a time to resolve my issues. The reason we never got a response was due to the original guy I was working with is no longer employed with them. I was disappointed with the work/response to begin with but I’ve had a complete change of heart, and will recommend them to anyone Thank yall for being an honest shop.

Had to bring in my van from work. Tuscaloosa ford had it for 3 WEEKS WITHOUT FIXING the issue. I take it to Browns and they give me an up front cost. No guessing. “This is how much the part costs, due to weather it’ll be Monday before we can get to it.” That’s EXACTLY what happened. I got a call at 10am saying my van was ready. Took my car in for deer damage told me about a week ahead it wud be done at a certain date, and it ended up takin 60 days longer then expected. Under paneling on bottom of vehicle was not replaced, even though it was in the quote also can see paint marks on the hood from poor work...
